We loved the atmosphere of countryside and the garden full of rich variety of botanical lives and flowers and with a small romantic pond. It even has a terrace to look over the garden, you can enjoy the view from the window, too. It was just amazing. I totally understand why the name the name of this place is au 'jardin(garden)' between two bridges. The location is also great. Not that far from the station, and right in front, you can find a big carrefour. Easy to do some grocery shopping. I love neighborhood in the town, too. 8.3 Excellent
Pros: This B & B is a beautiful, renovated farm complex, with plenty of on-site parking. The host was very friendly and offered good advice on activities in the Somme Bay area. The room was simple and clean enough, the bathroom a little bit dated. Nice breakfast with lovely homemade jams, yoghurt, pastries and cakes in a homely setting. The area is rural and quiet. About 30 min drive to Le Crotoy and Saint-Valéry.
Cons: There was no tv in the room we stayed in, for those who may find this a necessary aspect. Also, you do need your own car if you're staying here, as everything is at driving distance. It's still a half hour's drive to the water. So if you'd like to have the sea on your doorstep, then you may find this place a bit too isolated.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The property was very pretty, with cherubs everywhere. The decor was very nice, there is a jacuzzi which you may use, it was well situated for the purpose of our visit.
Cons: The chap who owns the property was clearly upset when we arrived with our daughter. We had booked a double room and he was cross that we hadn’t booked the family room. We hadn’t planned on taking our daughter, but last minute had to. Things went down hill from there. We were unable to change our room at this late stage. We knew she would be fine sharing with us. He didn’t bring a towel for her and pointed out we would have to pay for her breakfast, which we said of course we didn’t mind. €20 for our daughter to have a bowl of days old fruit salad and a croissant. On our second morning, our bread and croissants had been heated up from the day before and were rock hard. We couldn’t easily communicate with him as he didn’t speak English. I tried my best with my French knowledge but resorted to google in the end. On leaving we came to pay our bill and was told it was cash only, so my husband had to drive to the nearest bank. We were then €2 short due to the added breakfast but he insisted we find the cash. A very disappointing trip due to the owner’s attitude.

Pros: Setting attractive and unusual. Restaurant worth a visit.
Cons: Cracked glass window. Marks on the wall. Stain on tiles in the bathroom. Uncleared dog poo in the garden.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a quirky hotel that's well positioned for a stopover en route to the Channel ports. Not every hotel is positioned beside a working aerodrome with a jet fighter outside the door! The initial appearance might put some people off, but the rooms are OK (cramped) and the bed is comfortable. Free Wi-Fi is available and there's lots of parking. The breakfast is OK (for EUR7.50 you don't expect much) and the dinner acceptable without reaching any great heights. The staff are uniformly friendly. Dogs are very welcome.
Cons: Breakfast might have been better.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Restaurant closed, after a long journey this was not acceptable. Staff were apologetic but guests need to be warned of this possibility in advance.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Views of aerodrome. Simplicity and convenience of the place. Nice motel
Cons: A few more teabags coffee & milk. A few English-speaking channels. Breakfast fruit was pay its best. Absence of covers for the jams and flies buzzing around off putting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean , excellent food, English spoken. Watching the planes take off and land
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Cons: No-one at reception until 17.30 ( listed as 17.00) Very noisy adults - drinking until 11.30, up noisily at 05.00.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible property in a stunning location. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was excellent as was the meal in the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little gem is just of the main Val du Somme road tucked up in a hilltop near a restored windmill. The property has recently been taken over by a professional chef and the hotel is all about the food and the view from the restaurant over the Val which is amazing. The Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean and mix modern and french style. There are little touches such as a coffee machine, fresh water and little gifts of produce in the rooms. Breakfast was wonderful fresh made bread, brioche and tart au prune on the table and then a substantial array of local fresh cheeses, homemade muesli and jams and confits to suit all taste. All of this served with views out of the floor to ceiling windows. Unfortunately we were too late for dinner but other guests who had gone just for an overnight stop and dinner said it was wonderful. We will return
Cons: The bedrooms are in the eaves so can be a little warm but that is easily rectified by opening a window

Pros: Lovely location lovely room very friendly owners
Cons: Loved everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location for Calais
Cons: Would be nice to be able to make a drink at property even if offered down stairs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is about 3 minutes drive from the A16 Calais/Paris motorway. We were concerned about directions which looked complicated on the map, so we used satnav which took us to the front door. The proprietor gave us a choice of restaurants for dinner and we had an excellent meal, a good night's sleep and a good, continental breakfast. It is an unusual house with an excellent garden and interior decoration. Being so close the Bay de Somme it would make a great base for a holiday.
Cons: We were up quite early in the morning and the water was only luke warm.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good breakfast but not easy to find
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts very friendly and helpful, large room and en-suite. Ample breakfast. Overall good value for money
Cons: Quality of towels and toiletries could have been better, coffee and tea making facilities would have been appreciated as no communal area. No tv.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and a great location. We stayed overnight on our journey across France. Highly recommended.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Presentation of the staff and property
Cons: Bigger shower
7.0 Good
Pros: The hosts were very welcoming. The ambience was good. Breakfast good - home made jam lovely.
Cons: The bed. This is the most important requirement of any overnight stay. Plastic mattress cover - makes one sweat. Thin old sheets. Heavy prickly blanket felt through thin sheets. Mattress old and stained. Metal frame creaked with slightest movement. I can't imagine the hosts ever slept in such a bed. It appeared they were keeping costs to a bare minimum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice area, location Very warm welcome by the owners. Would recommend the owners provide extra seating for other guests, outside on their patio, as their was only one table available, which was full with other guests. Would recommend the owners provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Cons: As above

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, easy to find. Staff/owner was very friendly. Great price.
Cons: Not sure on the blankets would prefer a quilt.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and breakfast room are in a self contained building (converted barn) on a farm. The rooms overlook a small stream and fields. The unit is run by the farmers wife who speaks excellent english. There is parking in the yard outside the unit.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of Helene, the owner, and her enthusiasm. The location was magical in heart of countryside. The rooms had views over a rolling lawn down to stream, bordered by rose bushes which you can access from your room. Breakfast was served in conservatory overlooking the stream, at a large table with other guests. We had homemade jams and honey, hazel and walnuts from their trees and they produced cider (not for breakfast!). The ease of making yourself tea or coffee in kitchen area. Loved it. Didn't use pool but that looked good too. Property was well signposted.
Cons: Just not Applicable
8.0 Excellent

4.5 Okay
Pros: Friendly lady
Cons: No tv. Room was very cold. No airco in summer. No key on the door so everybody can enter your room. The view is terrible. The breakfast was most bad in years.nothing to cook some water for tea or coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the setting was perfect- such a restful and beautiful spot. helene was so helpful and enthusiastic about the local area. we wished we could have stayed longer (instead of it being a stop after arriving in France on our way further south).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was very friendly and accommodating!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, part of a working farm which is kept immaculately clean. The host was very helpful, she even rang the local restaurant and booked a table for us. There were only 4 or 5 rooms and breakfast was communal around one big table. We loved it
Cons: Nothing. We were only passing through but would stop there again if we were in the area again.

Cons: The single bed wasn't a proper bed.

Cons: Car parking a nightmare so ended up paying 15 Euros to use the hotel car park. The A/C struggled to keep the room cool and even after 9 hours it was still recording 22c. Just too hot.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff and restaurant were excellent. Minutes from the motorway.
Cons: Room needed airconditioning. Sadly, ignorant people smoke in the rooms.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfy
Cons: Charged for breakfast even though not booked. Money taken immediately when booked. Hotel insisted that we hadn’t paid and so charged us again even though we provided bank evidence to the contrary. Very bad service and no apology from hotel staff. Did refund once we stood our ground but made us feel that we were at fault and refusing to pay. Would not stay again. Would not recommend booking at all and would not recommend booking.com.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is perfectly clean and adequate for an overnight. Used it between the tunnel and the Vendee. Nice and clean nice staff.
Cons: The room was a little small but perfectly clean and tidy. Big enough for an overnight.
7.0 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This unassuming Ibis had pleasant rooms, good staff ample parking and very very good food both in the evening and lunchtime.
Cons: Not near the town centre and no lift
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stay here every year. It's a great break before driving as we usually stay in the south of France - we stay before finally departing for home. Breaks up our journey and we really like the hotel. Great comfy large beds too!!
Cons: We notice the price of beer and wine etc has gone up out of proportion to the rest of France. A pint and a half was around 10 euros which is very expensive.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Expensive drinks at the bar Triple what I normally pay ☹️
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast good
Cons: No english menu
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had everything you need for a brief stopover. Bed comfortable, decent shower, TV with a couple of UK channels, quick self service continental breakfast. Parking easy, quiet location. Staff friendly and welcoming. Easy to find just off the A16.
Cons: The rooms are pretty small, so it was ideal that my friend and I had booked two rooms, or we'd have been tripping over bags and each other! As the price very reasonable that was fine.
