Exceptionally helpful and pleasant staff. We can highly recommend this hotel. In addition, it is a two minute walk from two excellent restaurants, one of which has two Michelin stars. Nothing.
The staff was very kind. We enjoyed the mountains around, the good oportunity to rest in a beautiful place with really nice and kind people.
Excellent value for money
Simple family-run town centre hotel. Restaurants nearby. Good value for money. Despite no parking facilities off-street public parking was available within 50 yards. Breakfast rather frugal.
Good comfortable room with great common areas and pool. Nice setting and handy to coast and mountains.
The facilities for people with mobility problems were really good, a ramp to the entrance and the dining room and the room itself easy access into it, a very large bathroom with a level shower for ease of access for people in wheelchairs or other walking problems. Nice quiet location with views of gardens and the coast.the rooms were all tastefully decorated full of character. A great hotel. More choice at breakfast.
The peace and quiet
The hotel had a wonderful remote feeling to it with mountain and ocean views while only being 2 km. from the town of Colunga. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms well-decorated, and very clean. Soda, water, wine, etc., are available in the lobby and are charged on an honor system - very convenient. The breakfast had at least one home-cooked item (usually a tortilla) and had quite a lot of food & variety. The hotel staff was rude. For example, on one occasion we asked for directions to Picos de Europa park and they told us to go to the roundabout and look for the signs (there are no signs until you're in the park).
Large lounge was a real bonus. Directions were inadequate
Very comfortable lounge areas with good facilities. The junior suite was comfortable with excellent views but the beds were not comfortable.Breakfast was a good standard but the same each day.The staff were very helpful. A lack of English reading material within the huge range a magazines available. The room had an extra bed that was not requested and got in the way.
the room was comfortable & the hotel had a magnificent lounge There was no evening meal available & the car park was a long way from the hotel reception & access roads were not surfaced.
a very nice experience. very cozy and charming place.
Friendly and competent staff.
clean tidy and helpfull staff
Very helpfull and friendly staff. Nice rooms with balcony, looking out on the pool. Very quiet, out of the center of Ribadesella. Free parking for the car. Breakfast is good (but limited choice). No airco, but was not a problem for us since the weather on the coast was not so hot.
not much Room clean but .Poor construction led to a lot of noise from other guests with no sound insulation.. Bar/cafeteria was like a badly decorated village hall. Dining room brightly lit with bare walls -dreadful.Very unwelcoming public rooms. Unsmiling staff.Mismatched chairs at tables .Food was very poor . This is more like a hostel . Very noisy due to poor thin walls and construction ,. Guests were noisy all night and every sound was heard .. Very overpriced and poor value
The staff were always very friendly and the location of the hotel although slightly out of the town was still within reasonable walking distance. Safety standards in Spain are obviously different to those in England as the external fire escape was not securely fastened to the outside of the building and the fire doors opened out and subsequently blocked an escape route.
The hotel is really nice, surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet. In a favorable position to reach both beaches and mountains. Ample parking.
Friendly reception staff; good breakfast; fine room -- very new hotel with all expected amenities None really, but because of our late arrival (15 minutes before midnight), the parking lot closest to the reception area was full and we had to unload our luggage and then park the car further away; in the morning, a horse had left its turds behind the vehicle, so it was a bit tricky avoiding getting the tires dirtied! However, the hotel did their best to provide alternate parking, I think; they should not be charging customers 3 Euros to park in their main lot, as the rates are already high enough
