We enjoyed the views and location. Nothing worth writing about.
Spacious, comfortable room with fantastic views of Porthminster Beach and St Ives Bay. Excellent unhurried breakfast (buffet) in large restaurant.
reasonably priced, within easy walking distance of town rooms slightly small
The service in the restaurant, by Lauren, was excellent. She worked very hard by herself all evening Check in lady was pre-occupied
friendly, efficient staff and a good location
Courteous staff, warm, clean room & the best buffet breadkfast I have ever had. Expensive bar prices.
The manager and staff were very polite. The breakfasts were excellent each day of our stay. A very pleasant location with a lovely view from the dining room whilst enjoying the good food.
Its location situated near to a very nice beach--Portminster. N/A
Breakfast was perfect. noise from corridor and adjoining rooms
Excellent staff No bath
Location and view of St Ives All leisure facilities were very tired and not very clean. Room was a throwback to the 70's. Cannot believe it would ever fetch £175 per night as advertised on your site
View Creaky flooring
Hotel clean with fabulous grounds and view. Room a bit noisy in the night as I think we may have been next to the boiler room. Don'nt think that the bath would have suited an elderly couple.
Warm water in pool! Fab sea view. Beautiful grounds & lovely old building. Clean room, great breakfast and very friendly check-in reception Steps to pool & the changing room floors were cold; being stone. Changing rooms in need of re-furb. Plumbing in room was a bit noisey and toliet flush was not all that effective.
Stunning sea views Radiators didn't work in the bedroom or bathroom. Cold & drafty rooms. We did complain at the time but haven't heard back from the hotel. Shame as main hotel is very nice. Wouldn't stay here again based on this alone.
the evening meal. Did not expect carvery for the price and it wa.s very bad
Position of the hotel in terms of views. The grounds of the hotel were also very attractive The check-in time were strictly enforced - no ley way for couple with baby. The shower broke down on second night. Decor needed updating in room and corridors, especially carpets. No air-conditioning in rooms, and struggled to get a fan. No iron and ironing board - they only had a laundry room on ground floor.
A really good impressive hotel and supporting staff Main evening meal was not served as hot as I wold have expected it to be. I consider warm food to be a poor reflection of an otherwise very good hotel
The whole stay was very good Was surprised charged extra for room service
Great hotel, huge and beautiful terriotry None
reception staff gave very good service - very friendly. The food was delicious, especially the Farmhouse breakfast.
The staff were excellent, very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was excellent both in terms of quality of quisine and service Nothing . Everything was as good, if not better than expected.
The evening meal was very good
The overall ambience of the hotel, the comfort, friendliness of the staff and the first class views from the guest lounge and the restaurant
The staff members were extremely pleasant and helpful and the restaurant food was excellent
superb location, nice clean room overlooking Mounts Bay, excellent dinner and breakfast .Room heating a little hot for us
The hotel had a relaxing feel to it, really nice room with sea view.
Staff were excellent and very welcoming
The very good restaurant.
Great staff and restaurant. Nice ambience in the hotel. Great views of the sea. The room had a strange smell
The sea view
Location as beautiful as advertised and very convenient. Room good, lovely view. Staff seemed a bit off-hand. Disappointed by food.
The sea view, how friendly the staff were.
The food was outstanding, the staff were very attentive and the view from the room was incredible. The cleaniness of the room apart from the mildew was excellent. There was mildew on the bottom of the shower screen and on the edge of the bath sealant in the room and the choice of channels on the tv was poor.
Location, views and homely atmosphere Only real "complaint" was the shower was very cramped.
The friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to be of assistance. It is hard to find anything unsatisfactory, our room was cold (because of the exceptional weather) but this was quickly rectified by our radiator being adjusted and two extra heaters supplied.
The views out of the bedroom and public areas are superb. The bedroom, and hotel for that matter, was very well decorated and comfortable. It is very conveniently placed for the railway and bus stations.
The location - sea views Room was too small
Extremely good value having booked via internet and got a late booking. Hotel well located. Has probably the best view of any hotel we have stayed at. Accomodation- room small but very comfortable, well equipt and clean. Staff very friendly.Breakfast was of a very high quality. Stayed on b&b basis so cannot rate evening meals. Access to hotel from car park could be difficult for the less able, but this is a small price to pay for the beautiful location.
Excellent location, nice view of the beach and sea from the room, nicely decorated rooms, good breakfast, parking at 6 pounds a day right next to the hotel. Totally recommend it. And it's cheap. Rooms are quite small and because they are very well isolated (the beach is right outside), we ran out of oxygen during the night and had to open a window. So we recommend airing the room right before you tuck in.
Great service and food! 10 out of 10
This is quite simply the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room had the most beautiful view posible, you could see out to sea for miles. The room was perfectly clean. I could not fault the cleaners at all, they did a fantastic job every day. The owner of the hotel was amazing. He is the most helpful and friendly man you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Everyday he asked us our plans for the day and then gave us information such as tide times, opening times, bus times etc to help our stay. He also suggested a walk between Sennen and Land's End which turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. The breakfasts were lovely and the choice was unbelievable. I had a different breakfast everyday and each one was excellent. I travelled with my brother, who is vegetarian, there was several choices for him to have for breakfast which was a great suprise. The hotel puts two folders in each room. One contains menus from local restaurants and pubs to aid your stay. The other contains information on the location of the nearest chemist, bank etc. Both of these came in very handy and showed that the owners really care about you. The check in was very quick and the owner also carried our bags to our room. He showed us around the room to say where everything was. One night, the 2 owners went for a walk to visit friends. They left a note on the reception table saying where they had been and giving their mobile phone number. They also left a mobile phone by the letter so that you could contact them if you needed to. The hotel was within 5-10 minutes or several quality pubs/restaurants and also the main shopping area around Market Jew Street. The hotel was also very quiet though, the only sounds we could hear was those of the tide and the odd sea gull. I am sure that I will visit Penzance again soon and this hotel is my one and only choice of where to stay again. No bad points. Cannot fault this hotel.
Cleaness of the entire house. Very impressive. View from the dining room is nice. Chris is a very nice person. Just 10 minite walk from the rail station. The heater in my room was too small to appropriately warm my room.
Friendly, clean and accessible. Nothing
Made very welcome, helped me in any way they could, especially in arranging accomodation overnight in London. There were none.
The hospitality, food, accom, facilities and location. none
The friendly staff and the ease of 'feeling at home'
Totally an excellent experience. I have never stayed in a b&b before and this will not be the last. No bad points at all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Warwick House, our room was very comfortable and nicely thought out. Our hosts ensured we made the most of our holiday and gave us many suggestions for activities in the area. Breakfast was a real treat everyday. I highly recommend this choice.
