great and friendly staff, all inclusive was excellent, nice pool, very clean, evening buffet was very crowed, but if you go little later quite nice; the food standard is not extreme high, but perfectly fine for the money
Very good place, good room (but not for 4*), good basein, good food must have better beds (more comfortable) , better floor and funitsers
location food and drink were (below) average.
Excellent accommodation was quiet, beautiful rooms, great food - great selection of great holiday feeling --
Modest but comfortable hotel redeemed by stunning position on Lago di Misurina. Quality of food not up to a 4* Grand Hotel.
The location of the hotel next to lake Garda and views of Mountains. Receptionists were of great help. In my opinion this hotel should not be a 4 star hotel. It was really difficult for me and my family to communicate with the restaurant staff since no one understands/ speaks English. We had to go to reception desk with problems relating to the restaurant.Dinner is served between 7.30 and 9.30 and you have to choose 1 out of 3 main dishes. After just 30 minutes 1 of the main dishes was already finished.
A hotel with a great staff! Even given that the reservation has been done wrong by us, and we arrived at the hotel a day later than was booked, the staff was extremely helpful and resolved the problem without additional cost. All recommendations received from staff was excellent. A special mention to a private underground parking very secure, with a height which allows access up to a height of 2.1 meters. Furniture room wants to be modern but unfortunately looks very cheap compared to trim of the hotel public spaces. The carpet in front of the main entrance is not exactly an elegant detail ...
Location, iterior design, common living spaces, personell attitude and service. Prices of extras, prices of spa,the parking is xpensive, the price of 30 euro per person per day for the indoors sw/pool is totaly unacceptable.a 5*hotel must have sw pool free.
Wellnes i Spa La habtación. La relación entre la calidad y el precio era muy baja. Nos dieron una qe estaba en la zona privada del hotel, del personal y habilitada mínimamente para unos clientes que pagan 280 euros por noche.
I like this hotel, You had better to express that Spa was excellent.
Access from road was difficult.Dining was expensive.
The staff at reception are fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. The dinner was very good. The selection for breakfast was poor.
pool and spa large suites hard to find
Friendly staff - restaurant and bar plastic mugs in bathroom - shower only
It is a very nice hotel with good staff, faciltiies, food and easy garage parking. Some of the rooms are very attic-like and quite small. Some will find this charming, but if you are 6ft 5 inches tall it is inconvenient - my bathroom was almost impssible to use, the roof slop impinged so much, though the other bathrooms in the suite were fine. Also, the drive entrance from the road is potentially dangerous.
Great hotel, attentive staff, and a really good swimming pool..
A basic level hotel outside of the centre of Cortina D'Ampezzo. Room was spacious and clean. It was said that there is air conditioning, there was only heating to be used during winter. The doors in the room where too tight so that they could not be moved without using extra force. The hotel could not take payment with almost no credit card, only the fourth card probed was working, Too little properly english speaking staff.
warm welcome, exellent staf. Great location 2 min walking to Faloria ski cable car. and 1 min walking to shop district. Parking fee a bit much.
Central location, good size rooms, clean. bit big and inpersonal
Location (central, close to the main bus station, the Faloria lift), comfort of the rooms. The 14 euro room service charge for a 10 euro meal. The staff is rather uptight and doesn't give you any information unless you ask for it (ski maps, ski rental, ski deposit, weather forecast, snow forecast, ski guides etc, etc). There was no Internet either.
the hotel is overall an excellent choice, centrally located in downtown cortina and steps away from the ski lifts. ideal for families with small kids, although the playing room advertised was not available for use. a bit expensive, but well worth the price as you won't have any bad surprises. the staff is very pleasant. they have hotel parking but a bit overpriced. book panoramic view rooms.
Location is excellent, room facilities and cleanliness were very good Breakfast buffet did not match the rest of the hotel standards
Food, staff can't speak english
room was clean very bad service. Staff couldn't explain parking system, city and walking information and lack of responsibility.
I very appreciate the quality of breakfests and menu in the hotel the location close to the bus station and the main road caused noisy nights early in the morning.
The position. The TV is in the other room than the bed.
Beautiful spot, nice attentive staff ,good food , all good probably even more fun in the winter, nice. just the price, we had too pay extra for a suite with a view, a suite room should always have a view, so important to check this as your booking only says suite room but the hotel mailed me back and said 70 euros more for the room with a view which I paid and we got the view ,but it annoyed me !!!!
Good service but you depend on the shuttle and the ski storage is only at the hotel, not by the slopes.
Service of concierge excellent το spa δεν παρεχει relaxation στο pool area λογω τησ υπαρξησ παιδιων.
the facilities and staff were great. very expensive to eat and drink in the hotel.
Wonderful views from mountain view rooms. Superb fitness facilities, excellent staff. It was v hot in Cortina when we stayed with all 3 days (30-35 degrees C). The hotel has no aircon which would have made it perfect in the heat - but I guess its unusual to have these sort of tempertatures 1200m up in the Dolomites.
This hotel was a fabulous buy for the money. The hotel was located in a very scenic part of Cortina. A full buffet breakfast was included with the rate. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English. The pool area and hot tub were well maintained and very scenic also. I would definitely stay here again. It may have cost a little more but it was well worth it. None
fabulous luxurious hotel. staff were very helpful and friendly.nice pool and spa but pool a bit cold. location on top of a steep hill but shuttle service rectified this
adjoining rooms - very loud could hear every conversation even the neighbour snoring all night!!!!
Helpful staff lack of ski room
The Hotel is easy to find, great location in Cortina, walking distance to the main center of town. The hotel itself is very quaint and nicely appointed in the lobby, bar, and seating areas. You felt as if you stepped into a nicely appointed Hunting Lodge with a fireplace and comfy chairs. The rooms varied greatly by location. The Hotel seemed to be a favorite spot for tour buses. There were 2 buses there at the same time we were. The Hotel staff was just almost courteous. If you had a concern, they weren't too worried about helping you. They were not able to do any laundry for us, even though we were there 2 days and their website said laundry cleaning was available.
Stunning view of the mountains from our room and in easy walking of the town centre. Our junior suite had a balcony which caught the afternoon sun and was a good size. No food available in the hotel in the evening, presumably because it was out of season. It would have been good to be aware of this when we made the booking. The sofa in the suite was very uncomfortable really serving as a spare bed.
I stayed in a small, single bed room at Hotel Europa in Cortina D'Ampezzo. From my window I could see all the way up valley and had the pleasure each morning and evening of watching the valley wake up and the sunset. It was incredible. The room didn't have A/C but it was totally fine. The window was large and could be openend completely and there was also a lovely balcony where I spent the nights drinking wine and reading while smoking cigars. The hotel provided an ashtray too. I will definitely stay here again! I wish the fridge was a little larger. I had to take out all of the provided drinks to make room for the food I prepared for my hikes each morning and for the dinners I made in the room each evening. This is a very minor complaint though.
The rooms were wonderful and the views from them were spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for dining and sightseeing.
Excellent view, Cozy feeling, Table and chair in the room, Mountain lodge with full amenity
Very good buffet breakfast, comfy bed, bath and shower. The road was very noisy at the front of the hotel, I asked for a quieter room at the back and it was changed with no problem at all. The staff were very helpful and it was well placed to walk into town. The price of the evening meal was not displayed on the menu.
Location and rooms Breakfast could have more bread options
The staff at Hotel Europa was extremely helpful when we had problems with out rental car. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was great! Rooms on the street side can be noisy with the windows open.
great location, views and excellent staff. Lello the bartender is awesome.
A wonderful hotel..good value and extremely clean...gracious staff!!
The staff was very nice, and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel, and our rooms were very nice.
the hotel looks very nice, full of flowers and mountain ambiance, clean and with large and beautiful rooms, very good breakfast staff (rather clumsy and sometimes smug, not appropriate for the pretended class of the hotel or Cortina itself); the lounge area is nice but the relevant bar has an obviously pour and cheap menu, not a la carte but exposed directly on the shelters (as presented by the receptionist who appears to play also the bartender for the rare customers)
Excellent hotel. A real treat! We received a free upgrade to a mini suite and the breakfast was also excellent. I would recommend this place to any visitor who wants to stay in lovely Cortina. No, everything exceeded our expectation.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, it was nice that they spoke german and english, the views were stunning, the breakfast excellent, we found it an advantage that the hotel is not located in the centre, the room was clean. But our special compliments go to the lady behind the counter who was very well informed about what to do, which hikes to take or which MTBroutes. Only disadvantage was that our room was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, this might be a problem top some people. But this wasn't a problem to us.
Friendly and helpful staff, who were not offended that I can't speak Italian! The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, but our room had been used by a smoker and smelt strongly. I was asked to move my motorcycle from a car parking space, although the car park was only half full.
helpfull staff , very good breakfast
Perfect, Nice hosts and good breakfast. That I didn´t know that we had to go in the darnkess of the main road to get inte village.
Despite the inclement weather, our stay was filled with gasping sights. All good!
Clean rooms, reasonable breakfast Out of town a little with a good walk to food outlets
The room was facing to the street and in front of all other hotels's windows. I'd a junior suite to have a terrace and face to the mountain!!!
The owner is always on hand and very charming to guests. There is an excellent 2 star michelin restaurant with excellent manager and chef.
This is a wonderful, very well-run hotel for those who enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery and outdoor activities in the dolomites (we were here in the summer). The rooms and pool are lovely, the staff is helpful and courteous, the breakfast buffet is one of the best anywhere, lunch on the terrace is lovely, and the other restaurants excellent. Driving to and from the town and the hotel requires skill on hairpin turns in the mountains, and over beautiful but steep mountain passes, and is not for the faint of heart.
Great atmosphere, great service, great restaurant
