Pros: Beautiful and quaint
Cons: You need a car but this is not a negative comment more due to lack of taxis in the area
Pros: We stayed here for 2 nights - the hosts were so welcoming, they cook marvelous cookies and various other products in the house. The breakfast was delicious, great honey and jams. They allowed us to do a bbq in the garden, which was a great experience, highly recommended. I would definitely go back again.
Pros: The room is very nice and spacious- great for a longer stay. There is a small kitchenette in the room and a fully equipped kitchen downstairs for use. We enjoyed the great breakfast with homemade jams and Marmelade as well as their own honey. Furthermore, you could get eggs - boiled, scramble or sunny side up- from their happy chickens outside and we loved the freshly prepared fruit salad with herbs and flowers each morning. Also we could have both fresh baguette and fresh bread as well as a piece of pastry for each of us. In the spacious garden there are many options to relax - hammocks (used on a daily basis
Cons: That our stay ended!
Pros: Our hosts Vanina and Claudine were superb. They made us feel very welcome and gave plenty of good advice re local restaurants, even booking reservations for us after we arrived late on the first evening. We would highly recommend this location as it provided us with an experience we will treasure. The premises are about fifty minutes drive (a beautiful drive) to the Verdon Gorge entrance from the lake. A truly memorable stay. Many thanks
Cons: not much
Pros: Great mattresses, FANTASTIC breakfast, excellent honey to also take home as a gift
Cons: everything was perfect
Pros: Our stay here was absolutely perfect. We want to come again sometime soon. We especially LOVED the breakfast included. It was delicious, fresh and prepared with love. The blue eggs were unique and new to us. The two rooms were perfect for our stay. The extra bed requested for our little child was adorable, as was the high-chair and the childrens bib. We were not expecting such nice showering facitilies, and it really made the stay even more enjoyable. Also the garden was a plus! Everything we uncomplicated and relaxing. And with the tip to explore the regional farmers market and walk there from our accommodation we experiecenced some local culture first hand as well. A BIG THANK YOU TO THE Le Bargidou TEAM! If we can, we will be back!
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
Pros: Lovely well decorated large rooms and good bathroom. Excellent breakfast with organic food. Lovely location where you can walk to nearest village. Hosts very friendly and accommodating, helped us organising taxis. No problem recommending this property.
Cons: Very little not to like. Should note no air conditioning so heat in summer may be a challenge for some guests. Fans supplied.
Pros: Everything was exceptional. The hosts, room, setting. We all loved it and if ever possible would visit again.
Pros: Ahh what a place, charming, vibrant full of character. A real home you can feel it. You will easily leave thinking I could come back here. Listen I’m not saying you will all get the same treatment, but by the time we left, the host was now called mum. She looked after us and went above and beyond. Unbelievable, a trip that will always play fond memories for me.
Cons: The character, interior and the fact the breakfast was amazing each morning. Eggs from their very own hens, jam and honey was also theirs, we ended up buying some. Don’t have a bad word to say really.
Pros: Everything about this truly marvellous B and B was excellent, from the warm and charming company of Vanina and Claudine to the perfectly appointed rooms, organic home made produce for breakfast (including blue eggs!) and amazing attention to detail throughout. This place really is a jewel of Provence.
Cons: Having to leave after only 2 nights

Pros: Veronique and Patrick are excellent and friendly hosts!
Pros: The hosts, Patrick and Veronique, were very kind and welcoming. The breakfast and the optional evening meal were excellent, as were all the facilities at the property. A great place to stay.
Pros: Charming place with lovely tenants always there to please you. Great place ! We loved it.
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the setting idyllic
Pros: We were made very welcome by Patrick and Veronique. The accommodation and the setting is excellent. The rooms are well equipped and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast is a feast in itself and on the two occasions we dined there we had an excellent meal, accompanied by aperitif, a choice of wine and digestif. Patrick provided a suggested itinerary for each of the days we were there, which we followed, and saw and discovered much more than if we had done it ourselves. All in all, can’t rate Lavandaline high enough and would really recommend it to everyone - will certainly be returning!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!
Pros: Everything. Patrick was a great host and helped us with day trips and things to do.
Cons: Internet was only useable from the breakfast room. Just a minor inconvenience.
Pros: Gorgeous place, quiet, perfect little rooms and pool area. Stunning garden and lovely hosts.
Cons: A little tricky find and the road is a little bumpy! Need a car to get into the village.
Pros: This B&B is a little gem, in an idyllic setting. It is a little out of the way but that is what gives it such a peaceful atmosphere. The owners are charming and very welcoming. The breakfast was also delicious with fresh bread, homemade jams, yoghurt, muesli, cheese and ham.... yum. I would definitely come back
Pros: This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in very lovely and peaceful settings. The rooms are absolutely superb, immaculately clean and very tasteful you could not fault anything about this place. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning ourselves next year.
Pros: Our bedroom was so lovely and the view fantastic. Our hosts were totally charming and made the most delicious breakfast. The garden was beautiful and whole experience totally exceeded our expectations.
Pros: The location and ambience were a delight. Valerie was most supportive, especially as we hadn't troubled ourselves to hire a car on this very short trip, we therefore required a little chauffeuring around.
Cons: A car was a necessity.

A continental breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. The nearest airport is Toulon - Hyeres Airport, 83 km from Le Tempo.
Pros: Deceptively spacious and stylish interior ( both bar/ restaurant and rooms). The owners are a really nice couple, happy to chat and help out (if you speak French)
Cons: They only accept cash or cheque - no credit/debit cards. Fine if you know (which I did on our 2nd visit). Not much "noise insulation" in the ensuite! Send your partner for a walk if you need privacy!
Pros: Room was very new and clean. Owners were generally polite and helpful.
Cons: No air con in the bedroom A fan was provided after asking but taken away the following day when we were lent an extra one by friends. We had to ask again to get it back. Also no way to lock the bedroom door on leaving the room to go out.
Pros: The room was very cosy, nice and fully equipped. The stone wall with the lights inside is very rustic and original. We did not take breakfast and so we cannot judge it.
Cons: In the morning it was quite noisy, but this was at a reasonable time (around 9) and it is comprehensible since the breakfast is served under the rooms and other guests have the right to have their breakfast.
With a stay at Le Clos des Médiévales, you'll be centrally located in Le Thoronet, within a 15-minute drive of Thoronet Abbey and Lac des Escarcets Trailhead D1. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a train station pick-up service for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Clean room with airconditioning. Clean bathroom. Comfy beds, good value.
Cons: There was noone available for the check in. Luckily we arrived with another couple who were French and were able to contact the owner to tell us how to check in. Even though we arrived before 21:00 there was nobody at the reception.
Pros: At €40 this was the best deal we’ve had in a long time. Clean and airy, air-con and €5 for breakfast. The wi-fi was good enough to stream a movie.
Cons: Arriving on a Monday afternoon we found all the cafes in the village were closed, as was the local shop. We had to drive 13km to Lorgues (where almost everything was shut too) where we were just in time to buy some provisions for a pic-nic dinner. If we had arrived on a Sunday we would have faced the same problem. A French person would most likely have been aware of this likelihood but to us foreigners not being able to buy food for two days was a big surprise! We think given that this will occur two days of every week, the hotel should at least have a few basics such as frozen ready meals and a microwave. Had we arrived Tue-Sat and thus not experienced this considerable inconvenience we would have given a near 10 out of 10 rating.
Cons: Difficult to find!
Pros: Great location situated in a lovely little village and only - 15 mins from the motorway/larger towns. So much better than a chain hotel. The hosts and staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were clean and although I didn't need to use it, there was aircon - great for stays in the summer months.
Cons: There was no lift, however there are ground floor rooms. The wifi signal isn't great in the rooms. Suggest that a soft close mechanism be installed on the front door.
Pros: Super quiet location right next to the centre of the old village with excellent restaurants nearby. Perfect base for visiting Le Thoronet Abbey.
Cons: The croissants were too small"!
Cons: no one in reception and no answer to phone call, after 3 calls and 40 minutes waiting under the heavy rain
Pros: The staff are SUPERBE - they always go the extra mile to ensure you are happy. Always friendly, smiling and helpful. The rooms are cosy, clean and well lit. Bathroom is big enough. Beds are super comfortable and the breakfast is good value. The coffee is the best I have tasted in any of the hotels we have stayed at. There are cafés and some small shops, boulangerie etc within walking distance and lovely vineyards surround the hotel, which was great for walking our dog. Would definitely recommend Le Clos de Médiévales 100%.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Pros: Good location, very friendly staff, easily expanded the stay with one extra night. Buffet style breakfast was good. Facilities were clean, bed was comfortable.
Cons: The WiFi was almost unusable.
Cons: There is a huge water heater in the wardrobe that made annoying noise through the whole night. Took a great deal of effort to be able to fall asleep even with plug-ins.

Pros: Nice and quiet, great food
Pros: Wonderful pool with relaxing surrounds. We had half board and the meals were fabulous.
Pros: Quiet location with good restaurant and pool
Pros: Good restaurant for dinner.
Cons: The toilet in the bathroom was leaking at the bse.
Pros: Decent value for our requirements
Cons: Slightly dated but perfectly adequate
Pros: The beds were super comfy and our room was very spacious. The location was perfect for exploring the village by foot. The owners were really friendly, and the decorations gave the bar and restaurant areas a warm and cozy feel.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Room felt a little cheap, but overall ok.
Pros: Everything was good. The family room was really spacious.
Cons: We asked for beach towels. They gave us only one. We were two families (9 in total). We booked the family room for 5 people. We had 4 towels for shower instead of 5.
