9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly food was fine bed very comfy all in all was good value for the money
Cons: The decor could do with an update paint paper carpets .
6.0 Good
Pros: Pool
Cons: Needs a revamp new things in fresh paint
4.0 Okay
Pros: The bed/bedding was excellent
Cons: The carpet on the stair up to our room was very dirty. I almost left at that point. The were 2 out of 3 bedside/vanity unit lights not working. The very pleasant young man from reception came up and replaced them at our request. The tap on the bathroom basin has been plumbed incorrectly, hot water coming out of the cold tap and vice-versa. Really? The bathroom towel rail would not heat up. Only 2 tea bags were supplied for 2 occupants. A little mean? The tables in the dining room are varnished wood. They really need to be re-varnished as they are tatty looking. And our table was contaminated with patches of old greasy dirt, and the edge was sticky to the touch. Revolting. Altogether a great disappointment, a beautiful old building [this used to be an excellent hotel] spoilt by clearly uncaring owners who do not know better or care less. The potholes in the car park are an absloute disgrace. We arrived at night and did not see the state of the car park until daylight.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room needs secondary glazing, had difficulty getting in and out of bath Food quantity rather than quality not as good as previous visits Definitely not good value for money

Pros: Staff very friendly.
Cons: Shower in room wasn't very strong once water heated up, paid £13 for 2 sandwiches and a packet of crisps and the bread was going stale.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff that was on were very warm and welcoming
Cons: The quality of the food that we recieved at dinner was sub par with the rest of the standards at the hotel
7.0 Good
Pros: The pool and spa facilities are really nice and so were the staff. The Scottish porridge for breakfast was also great.
Cons: My room wasn't particularly clean; carpet staining, empty tablet packets on the floor, toothpaste (?) staining on bathroom window, cobwebs, dust etc. But the bed sheets were clean. The water pressure was also fairly bad.

Cons: Usually when we stay .. staff cant do enough however staff seemed stressed and no on came near us for dinner bill .. or to ask if wanted any more drinks etc.... breakfast was no hot food no one to meet and greet we are regular stayers here with friends every two months or so .... however never had a complaint staff usually friendly and cant do enough ... wasnt nice to see them stressed. As I said no one to direct anyone for breakfast ... no hot food was ready etc... however girl at check in and check out who knows us could not have been any more polite and prompt she made the experience for us xxx
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to help and assist. Can not thank them all enough for all there help and making our stay most enjoyable. The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. My daughter enjoyed a lovely massage and we all enjoyed the spa facilities. We also enjoyed the tribute night that we discovered about on our arrival.
Cons: The only part we found a 'tiny' bit dissatifying was the quality of the food. We took advantage of the friday steak night offer and I could honestly say I cook my steaks better at home! The afternoon tea was a little disappointing. Only 3 tiny sandwiches per person but the cakes where lovely. We also participated in the tribute night. Which the meal wasn't perfect but the evening was great!

Pros: The staff are fantastic.
7.0 Good
Pros: When we went to order a taxi the receptionist said she was just finishing her shift and would give us a lift to the station wish I had remembered her name but it is things like that which make the difference. Our meeting room was under a bowling alley and could just here bowling balls through the morning which turned out to be hilarious if a little off putting.
Cons: A little dated and something not quite right with my beer but small matters.
6.0 Good
Pros: The evening meal we had there was nice, the breakfast was ok not the best we've had, bed was comfy and the room was clean.
Cons: The room was rather hot considering it was winter in Scotland, the was patio windows but staff couldn't find the key to open them so we could coil down the room a bit, there was no bedding for the sofa bed for the kids to sleep on even though it was a family room we had booked, there was only 2 bath towels & 2 hand towels for the 4 of us. All the staff were friendly enough apart from the rude arrogant man on reception following morning, are debit card declined for some reason not due to there being any money in are account, so I said well hopefully the credit card we had to use wouldn't decline aswel, he replied by saying I would have to phone someone to bail me out
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff (Gary and Lauren) were super friendly and caring, the rooms were lovely and they had comfortable beds and the value for money was good. Theme park and amazon center in walking distance.
Cons: The breakfast buffet Could be more innovative, they served the same food everyday (not much healthy options) for a week :( I couldn’t figure out how to use the portable shower head in the bathroom. Location is isolated from town a bit. Ironing bored was not working.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location close to Motherwell and Hamilton and right on Strathclyde Park. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Useful to have the pub on site and the food was of good quality and priced well. A good stay and will use again.
Cons: The restaurant ran out of food and instead of taking bookings from hotel residents, it continued taking walk in customers meaning that several hotel guests had to drive out to find food. The duty manager could not guarantee that this would not happen the following night so I checked out and left one night early. Disappointing end to a very good stay.

Pros: Breakfast was good, parking was easy... that's about all I can say was good about it. The rest including the room condition was a let down
Cons: Room was worn, bed sheets worn thin and bobbly, mattress was indented where people had been sleeping and the springs were non existent. Hairs on the towels, heating didn't work. I understand the windows are a period feature but come on... single glazed sash-and case?? draughty.... which I could feel all night especially with the heating not working. I also was given the choice of a double bed or two single beds pushed together. I did not get my choice of a double.

Cons: We found no areas that we felt needed improvement. Everything had been thought through to provide a great experience.

Pros: The accommodation was very well equipped and cosy and the room was very spacious with a large en-suite bathroom. We were greeted warmly by the host and given a pot of tea and some lovely home baked fruit cake in our arrival.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

6.0 Good
