The owner is a welcoming and generous host, making sure that you have everything you need to make for an enjoyable visit. We were there on business and plan to stay there whenever we are in the area to visit our suppliers.

Cons: No. Brigitte couldn't do anything about the weather.Having a bad hip, it would have helped to have an elevator, but in a 16th Century chateau, it would have ruined the beauty and ambiance.

Our room was comfortable and large enough for us and our two large duffels. It was a quiet room at night, most welcome since we were so near to a busy bridge. Breakfast was not free, but the variety of dishes was very good and the staff quickly filled any dishes that became empty.
Pros: The location of the Mercure Albi is great for walking. Our river-side room had a tremendous view of the cathedral and the old city.
Cons: The hotel was what we expected. There was nothing we did not like.
