The proximity to The New Lanark Mill museum. Was very quiet. Very friendly staff. Free WiFi in the public area. The too warm duvets and the "standard"size double beds, somewhat smaller than we are used to.
Ease of parking, good rooms and breakfast was excellent Winter months the hotel is a little quiet qnd lacks atmosphere
fHotel and all surrounding buildings, river and countryside are surperb, hard to beat. The hotel and staff are excellant and when no weddings, seminars etc. a very peaceful place to stay. the breakfast bar is lacking in fresh cheeses and hams, etc. It looks makeshift and lets the kitchen down.
staff very friendly and helpful. we stayed in the water lodge only downfall was bedrooms were downstairs toilet upstairs which made it a little inconvenient during the night. overall it was great.
We had the most fantastic stay. Everything was perfect, including the weather. The countryside was breathtaking. Food and service couldn't be bettered. We liked it all.
Staff were friendly, polite and efficient, looking after the needs of large tour groups while ensuring that individuals and family groups needs were seen to. Location of hotel was ideal for combining touring of city and countryside as well as shopping.
Helpful staff and convenient location for my needs. Reasonable value for money and food very good. No problems
The staff were very helpful and polite. room service was very good however the sink leaked, the bathroom wasnt the cleanest, the net curtains came off their hooks and the duvet was poor. the pool and "gym" area need a serious re-think / re-furb. see above.
The beds were very comfortable and the staff on reception were friendly and efficient. The decor was clearly past its best, the bathroom had mould in some parts and was also a very old dark gren (tres 60s). Whilst at breakfast we noted cutlery on the floor, which drew our attention to dirty skirting boards and dusty floorboards, cloths used to wipe tables were left lying on a table by the kitchen and staff who wore a unform which was too small for them.
The breakfast buffet. Excessive noise from other rooms.
I am writing to the Hotel Manager to voice my complaint. Firstly, the beds were extremely uncomfortable - the springs had gone in both the room booked and the subsequent 'executive' room I was moved to. The carton of milk was passed it's sell by date and rendered the cup of tea undrinkable. The paper I ordered for Sunday morning failed to arrive before I left after breakfast. There was an air of disinterest on the part of the staff and I would never wish to stay at this Ramada hotel again.
Staff very friendly and helpful Room very dated - bathroom from the seventies
Close to shopping centres Staff were unhelpful at breakfast no manners or greeting
Ease of Access
Friendly staff no
Room was clean, well equipped & comfortable Food was only available at service station. This was expensive and not very exciting
Welcoming attitude of staff and willingness to help
Comfortable bed. 24 hour check in. Free parking
Convient location close to motorway.Ideal overnight break of journey to Scotland
The bed was to high,as so the washbasin. the tv poor reception and small
quiet, comfortable, with good sized room.
Very convenient location for breaking journey to Scotland
The corridor doors have hinges that squeak and with arrivals and departures at all hours, the noise from the same is not good. An oil can and five minutes would significantly reduce night time disturbance. Bathroom tiles beginning to look a little past their best with mould developing on the joints.
the friendly staff ,the very clean modern room, breakfast area,it was all lovely.
Friendly service no
This hotel is fantastic value for money - the staff are friendly and efficient, the food is simple and tasty, the rooms are comfortable and clean. One of the best 3 star hotels I have come across.
the hotel staff were very friendly especially a porter called gordon trying to get in the door at the hotel, both doors would not open and i had to struggle to get myself and my case through the revolving door
close drive to all attractions while staying out of the main city
Friendly helpfull staff, clean comfortable room. Excellent 3 course evening meal at a bargain price. Pet friendly with no extra charge.
Pleasant staff, public areas very good and well decorated.Food was good and reasonably priced. Value for money. Hallways to bedrooms scruffy and needs maintenance. Wall paper peeling in places, carpet edging strips need securing, generally needs a repaint and attention to detail. Took a while for hot water to come through in the morning. Bar prices were expensive.
the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful
location and standard of rooms
Good access from Edinburgh Resturant is limited to big portions and pub stile food being a Harvester
All staff cheerful, helpful and informative including the attched Beefeater restaurant. Having this as a walk-through facility makes a big difference as it gives the complete hotel "feel". Would like radio available via the TV.
Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly Curtain rail in room broken, offered money back, but did not accept, as only small problem caused by other customer not hotel.
Cost effective for overnight business trip Slight traffic noise. Would have preferred more teabags in room ( green tea ).
cleanliness & comfort was super
Hotel room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful Breakfast (included in the booking) was not particularly good. Hot food was unappetising and the restaurant ran out of 'continental' breakfast items. There was not fresh fruit and why serve muffins and even croiossants in the 'Land o' Cakes'? Why were there no morning rolls or scones? Local pastries and breads should be offered together with traditional delicacies otherwise one could be anywhere!
The staff was excellent, especially Rita, Louise and Tony. Very accommodating to guests' needs. Also Lesley in the next-door restaurant. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The food at all our meals was very good.
Staff helpful clean room nice brakfaast Need more tea coffe sugar and milk in rooms perhaps free veiw on T.v
No complaints at all None
Reception Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant The Beefeater Restaurant lets the Premier Inn down, the evening meals my sister and I had were dreadful with mine being returned. The Inn did refund all meals. Breakfast was marginally better but I do not understand how scrambled eggs can be floating in water
Reception staff were excellent - very helpful and knowledgable. Also the room was very clean and well serviced.
Stayed two nights at the hotel All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent both in quality and value for money. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
Staff well mannered polite and helpful.cooked breakfast. No bath in bathroom
Very friendly staff clean room Breakfast expensive
Friendly staff Charged twice for staying the same night in two different Premier Inn.
We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. Our room was spotlessly clean and at a pleasing temperature during the night.
The staff, the rooms, the cleaner, the restaurant(caverny) are excellent. Perharps, the transport from or to the city.
clean, warm, and modern environment
All of it great night!!!!!!!!
Day staff when checking in very friendly and helpful Night porter I found him rude and very unhelpful, light not working in the lift, tv bracett unstable, tv had to be switched on and off several times before working
The rooms are nice and new and the pub scene on the ground floor is thriving. The food available was good and the staff were great. All round good hotel. This hotel has a band playing on Saturdays which makes it hard to sleep. The obvious answer to the problem is "go down and join in" but just in case you need to get up early in the morning, I would suggest staying elsewhere.
