Pros: This is a nice small hotel with restaurant. Our room was large but rather dark. Bathroom Good. Comfy bed. The restaurant was excellent and we had a very god evening meal. Breakfast was fine but a bit limited.
Cons: The music played in the bar/restaurant. A peculiar 'dirge' that after 10 minutes made you feel somewhat suicidal! Same music at breakfast. Please change the music.
Pros: we had a private breakfast on the terasse GREAT
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: Location, too far from everything (city)
Pros: Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great restaurant. Very nice, helpful owner. Tasty food in hotel restaurant. My wife had special food reqiurements and the owner provided it without any additional costs. We had great time.
Cons: The beach. Very dirty neighbourhood. we found that south of Italy was very dirty. Very rude man working in the beach bar.
Pros: Location which is 10min away from the beach (across a high speed road), the staff is very friendly and the restaurant food is very good. Rooms are small but comfortable.
Cons: Overpriced for the standard of the place (over 150 euros per night in August, for a room which is small, with no amenities like battle of water / boiler / etc, not particularly well decorated, breakfast is alright but not outstanding, the hotel is not right next to the beach...)
Pros: good location, good restaurant very nice and helpful owner I recommend !!!
Pros: everything was amazing! Food was delicious, the best in the neighbourhood. Views was breathtaking, quiet beach and warm water. Staff and the owner was nice and very helpfull. Rooms was clean and elegant. We are sure we will come back!

Pros: Wonderful place, great hosts, beautiful setting and very good food
Pros: Thanks Gio! It was a perfect stay to relax and refill my energy for the next hiking tour. The breakfast was delicious, even the take-away fruits were great. Bed&shower excellent. Say also thanks to your German speaking nephew, great person. All the best, Enjoy life
Pros: We loved everything - the location, the food and Giovanna's hospitality. Giovanna's cooking was wonderful, as was her red wine from the small holding - the best red wine we have ever tasted! Everything was home made or came from the garden, except for the honey which came from her mother's bees. The location was lovely - very peaceful, apart from the tinkling of the cowbells. It is close to the Bosco di Spina Pulci and Bosco de Pilla which we wanted to explore for orchids. It's also close to the bird reserve of Lago di Lesina. It was a very relaxing five days we spent here and we hope to come again one day!
Cons: Long distance down a rough lane

Pros: Very comfortable, great staff, good location, nice pool
Pros: the reception and cleaning personal, parking, nice pool, good beech service with free shuttle, chair and sun umbrella
Cons: Room with no much of a view, unpleasant bathroom smell, poor restaurant service and food quality for guest on half board plan , fly infested breakfast buffet.
Pros: the room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the sea from the balcony. the staff was very kind and helpful.
Cons: visited in mid april and the pool was closed, there weren't even any lounge chair to enjoy a beautiful sunny day. they were also clearing brunch and burning it on site which made for a smoky smell throughout the property.
Pros: Fantastic staff and perfect location. The seafood at their restaurant, Senza Civico, is the best in the city at a great price.
Cons: The WiFi would cut out often in the room.
Pros: Lovely situated with an amazing pool and view and the friendliest staff, there’s nothing not to like about this place.
Pros: Loved the pool
Pros: Beautiful view and great staff Excellent location
Pros: The location was great! Nice on a hillside overviewing the sea, between lemon trees. The swimming pool is very nice as well. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. The breakfast was ok, lots of choise, I liked the fresh fruit in particular. The breakfast waiter was very friendly. The cleaning ladies as well were very friendly. It was nice to get a ticket so you can get a chair and umbrella on the beach for free!
Cons: The wifi did not work for 3 days, which was a bummer since I selected this hotel aspecially because it had wifi! Also there was a very bad smell in the bathroom. One day more than other days, but it was always there. I told the receptionist when checking out and she made me feel like an idiot because I was “the first person complaining about it”. I guess they should read reviews more often, it’s mentioned here a few times... Also I don’t appreciate they make me feel like an idiot! The receptionist when checking in was nice, but could not speak English. Which was no problem really, we managed with few words of my bad Italian and gestures. The receptionist when checking out did speak English but was not friendly at all (to put it in a nice way...). They also run a restaurant, which seem to be their priority. One day I came to the swimming pool and all chairs were put aside and replaced with tables for some party. The party itself was taking place the next evening. They apparently rented out the restaurant for some anniversary. It had lots of people, lots of music, singing and cheering and thus lots of noise. The restaurant is close to the rooms and the noise lasted until after midnight. It was impossable to get some sleep. Again I complainted about it the next morning to the unfriendly receptionist, but without any reaction from her. So it’s a nice looking hotel, but service could be way better. And if the restaurant is their priority they should not run a hotel!
Pros: The hotel offers sunbeds on the beach. Nice views on the sea from our balcony. A short walk to the lovely town center of Rodi (a bit steep!). Gargano offers beautiful nature and seasides. Vieste and Rodi are the nicest towns.
With a stay at Residence Ducale in Rodi Garganico, you'll be just steps from Gargano National Park and Gargano Promontory. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The sea view from the balcony was beautiful. The area was nice, walking distance to the beach. Reserved parking was very convenient. It was a nice area to explore Peschichi, Vieste and Forest Umbra
Cons: The area was very noisy at night. There was a restaurant/bar right below our room that had live music every night until 1am. The curtains and blinds were very thin meaning that the room was very bright in the morning. We booked a double room, but it was actually two single beds pushed together. The room was small, marketed as a studio, but more the size of a regular hotel room with a kitchenette squeezed in. The kitchenette was lacking adequate supplies for cooking. When we asked about supplies for cooking and cleaning we were told we needed to purchase our own sponges and washing up liquid and that the kitchen had "everything we need to cook." There were a variety of pots and pans but the only cooking utensil was a ladle, aside from that you needed to use regular forks and spoons when cooking.
Pros: There were several things we really liked. We had a dedicated parking for our room. We also received a room facing the sea, with a gorgeous view. The good thing is, that there was also a small terrace available for everyone, so basically every room could take a look at the sea We also enjoyed the fact, that going to the ground floor, we were in a few minutes walk away from the beach, but going to the second floor, we were basically 100m away from the centre of the village. The room was sufficient (nice bed, two desks, some chairs, etc.), the air conditioner worked, facilities were ok, and the kitchen was equipped sufficiently from a technical point of view. Since there is no real cleaning going on / room service, we were sure, that we wouldn't be woken by them. That's always nice, when being on a vacation. There were some basic cleaning tools available, so we could do the cleaning ourselves when necessary.
Cons: The building is on the main road, which is going through the village, so naturally there is some traffic going on. We needed a few days to get used to it, and not be waken by the traffic. There is also a bar just below the building, where there were some concerts going on. Frankly, we liked the music, but it could be disrupting for some people. As mentioned, there was no real room service. During our two-week vacation, we received fresh towels in the mid of our first week stay and no change of sheets, despite the fact, that there was a cleaning fee included. We also found some stains on the floor, so maybe the cleaning wasn't thorough enough. We had to pay a city tax, which is OK, but was not mentioned when booking, and could not be payed by card.
Pros: Very convenient location and parking lot. Room had a lovely view of the marina.
Cons: There wasn’t any dish soap or a sponge to wash up the dishes, the stove gas tank was empty and we didn’t get it replaced until 10:30 the next morning and then it wouldn’t stay lit. The floor was dirty, it had not been washed, there was oily and sticky patches.

Pros: Hotel's beach and the staff there is OK. Staff in hotel is OK
Cons: On booking.com Hotel Villa American is rated as 4 star hotel, but half of hotel is officially 3 star hotel with 3 star rooms (in the galery is picture of 3star qlassification of room and offer from booking). Comparing with other "booking" 4 star hotels this hotel really not deserve 4 star. We booked 4 star hotel described like triple bedroom with extra bed, but we get 3 star double bedroom with two extra beds. However, thanks to kind staff, we find some solution, but overall impression was not so well. In addition, description of hotel on english version booking.com is "beachfront property", but hotel is more then half kilometers away. There is shuttle circulating between hotel and the beach. Breakfast was very poor. Beach is OK. Staff was kind and professional.
Pros: Very friendly and courteous staff! Great location to access both the beach and the city center.
Cons: Very pricey for value but I guess that’s what you get for booking with one days notice on the Gargano in August. The rooms, washrooms and breakfast were all very simple. You could often hear the people in the room next door.
Pros: The location was perfect - lots of parking and right in the centre. Unfortunately, it was raining really hard so we only got a chance to run around the town and not take our time. We are at the end of the season, so the restaurant was closed for dinner, but the staff were friendly and made recommendations of where to eat. The hotel was clean and pleasant, our room was perfectly adequate for our one night stay.
Cons: All was good, but the breakfast was a little odd ... I think we were the only people staying so it was like a ghost hotel, but nevertheless, the food was fresh and perfectly adequate. The coffee was so strong it was like rocket fuel!
Pros: Helpful staff in a well located hotel. Good breakfast with a pleasant and obliging barista.
