They lent us their metro card and gave us information on getting into the old town (10mins on the metro), supermarket etc. The rooms were clean and big enough for us. Near the mercado bazurto which is defo worth a visit. Slightly nearer the bus station if you’re leaving/entering that way. Very near a supermarket.
We weren’t given a key to the front door so we had to shout into the next room over to get them to let us in which did get a bit annoying - the door was also locked from the inside overnight so you couldn’t get out until they got up - not great in an emergency. The owner turned the air conditioning off for about 80% of the time we were there - he lied twice saying there was a power cut and that it was ‘overheating’ and then we saw him quickly turning it back on one day when we got back - if you pay for air con it should not be limited - it was too hot to sleep in the night with it. We had to wait ages to check in because the room obviously hadn’t been cleaned and it was well passed check in time. The kitchen was filthy. Dirty sheets.
Owner borrowed us card for busses. Room with balcony was large and beautiful.
They turn down the climatization couple time a day. Than it can get bit hot
The owner speaks English and can give advice
It is far from city centre, I ended up in the dormitory for the first night due to overbooking, if you don't like dogs it is not a place for you
Big room, air condition, clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen, public transport just 1 min walk, bus to city center takes 10 mins. Very friendly staff, laundry service. Help to get a cheap taxi to bus terminal.
The location is great, the bed was comfortable and the tv was nice
At first the person in charge forgot to gave us towels and to enable the a/c but i just asked for it and he did it right away so it wasn't really a problem
