Pros: Five stars service for the price of two stars and in a beautiful inn.
Pros: Lovely room and Luisa is great
Cons: No kettle had to heat water for coffee in the microwave.
Pros: The building, the rooms, the location and the owner Luisa could not have been more helpful.
Cons: The diy breakfast in the fridge although plenty of food - it seemed to lack the intera tion with other guests that a little dining room with the same selection of food would have added.
Pros: Friendly staff lovely village
Cons: Due to storm the lights kept on going
Pros: Large room with sofa, coffee table, fridge and everything you could want. Nice courtyard outside. Breakfast provided in the room. Very quiet village with a few restaurants. We used it as a base to see the area near Caminito Del Rey as other hotels were full but enjoyed our choice.
Cons: Not a lot in the village but a good base to explore the area
Cons: Liked everything about this gem of a hotel. FYI, very very little English.
Pros: Very cozy and flowery mansion. Good location for the caminato del rey hike!

Pros: The view from the roof terrace was amazing as was the interior decor of the property
Cons: My single room was really tiny & had no fresh air or natural light, which I found very claustrophobic.
Pros: The staff was very very friendly, we had a great time. We sat at the roofterrace with a nice view. we could make a bed of the sofa so we sleep in separate beds. And a fountain with luxuryseats in the patio!
Pros: Comfy beds, air conditioning, no sounds in the night, beautiful view in the roof. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The breakfast failed to meet our expectations, little choice. There was a smelly room.

When you stay at Hotel El Carmen in Puente Genil, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Villa Romana de Fuente Alamo. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Car was parked outside overnight and our wing mirror was stolen
Pros: Clean. An english speaking staffmember.
Cons: Unclmforyable beds. I specifically booked for the pool which was not open and it was 24 degrees outside !!
Pros: The rooms were nice but the walls paper thin.
Cons: The fact that you could hear everything from the adjoining rooms.
Pros: Easy and plenty of room for parking, Room 107, was very spacey, beds comfortable, and over all restful night, but pillows not good , view over the pool area and a lovely clean pool, tea and coffee in the room that was welcome, restaurant had good ambiance, and the evening meal was good.
Cons: A water cut the morning we left
Pros: The swimming pool was very welcome. A meal of tapas in the bar/restaurant in the evening was very good and the staff were friendly and welcoming and were happy for us to find the sports channel on the TV in order to watch athletics (the place wasn't busy so it wasn't inconveniencing anyone). Our breakfast was freshly prepared with freshly squeezed orange juice and toast with tomato and good coffee. I think we could have probably asked for other items such as ham and cheese or perhaps eggs but we were happy with that. Excellent value for money. Also Puente-Genil is an excellent location to fill up the fuel tank at only 99 cents a litre when we were there.
Cons: People who were not guests were able to use the pool on paying a fee. Fair enough but it would be good if the hotel could insist on people not smoking round the pool.

Pros: Location good as looking around Saydo Park Library to swap books was excellent
Cons: Lighting in room poor, pillows awful not enough of them, breakfast consisted of toast with no other option given, hotel closed on Monday so no service at all, tv in room Spanish only, not one member of staff spoke any English
Pros: Fabulous hotel, room in impeccable condition. Would highly recommend and fingers crossed, we will be coming back here. The staff make you feel so welcome. Thanks for all your help.
Pros: Very pretty great staff relaxed and quite

Pros: Friendly staff, they have helped with all the requests
Pros: Shower was recently re furbished. Bathroom small but shower really good.

Pros: We chose this place because It was in our way to Malaga and we just needed to stay for a night. It is a clean and comfortable hotel with a great restaurant. The best part of our staying was to meet Raul, the barman. He is a legend. We stayed for hours in the bar drinking, talking and laughing. He recommended us to order the restaurant's speciality dish for dinner and it was delicious.
Cons: The room smelled smoke but we did not asked for a smoke free room, so I cannot complain about that.
Pros: spotless, well-built hotel. Great value.
Cons: Supper in restaurant was less good value.
Pros: Room and cleanliness
Cons: Unfortunately a wedding that night so very noisy hardly any sleep
Pros: Close to a Refugio and very good tapas
Cons: Aircon did not work in 2 rooms .Only cold water in tap when arrived late afternoon. Staff in bar seemed more interested in football than getting supper Bill correct. Good job we always check the bills!!! No lift of course.1 light didn't work and various knobs falling off drawers and wardrobe
Pros: Very helpful and ease of continuing journey on departure.
Cons: Honeymoon couple above me!
Pros: Rooms are simple but very nice and convenient. Staff is rely brilliant. Restoran is supper. I like everything in this place.

When you stay at Las Acacias in Puente Genil, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Villa Romana de Fuente Alamo. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The whole hotel was spotless not a speck of dust anywhere.
Cons: Breakfast could have been much better and I feel this does let the hotel down slightly.
Pros: This hotel looks like it belongs in Vagas all marble and glitter but it is located at the edge of a small farming town next to a truck stop. I have no idea who this place was built for. Maybe the King of Spain visits every so often.
Cons: The bar on the premises caters to locals and truckers. Adequate food but minimal service. Good to know Spanish here.
Pros: Cheap bar for drink and taps .
Cons: Location breakfast
Cons: No safe; No minibar or water provided
Pros: Affordable clean comfortable rooms. With standard spanish breakfast of toast and jam coffee and fresh Juice. We would use the hotel again.
Cons: Nothing. We got what we paid for!
Pros: Easy access at the edge of town, useful for an overnight stay. Comfortable, aircon quiet and our room was on the side away from the main road. Hotel's café served simple meals. Fuel station on site and supermarket over the road. Able to park outside hotel.
Cons: Really no problems. Staff had limited English but we managed fine. A phrase book useful for translating the menu.
Pros: Fairly new or redecorated large rooms. Next to the entrance of town, so a lot of traffic but perfect for a stopover during your travels. The (public) bar (also the bar of the petrol station which is attached to it)is ok for breakfast, we didn’t have supper there. Good decaf!
Cons: The bed was too hard, well, it’s a matter of taste, isn’t it.
With a stay at Hotel Fortes la Nuit S.L. in Mollina, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Casa de Cultura Theatre and 9 minutes by foot from Iglesia Parroquial Nuestra de la Oliva. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Good position On the main road Good staff
Pros: Antonio (the owner) was very friendly. The WIFI was obtainable in the room, although in the hotel description it said only in reception. It looked as if a new bathroom had been fitted, plus bathroom & main doors. The towels & bedding were white, fresh & clean
Cons: The 'drainy' smell in the room & sometimes corridor. There was no lift & our room was up two flights of stairs. The curtains (which were black out curtains) didn't meet in the middle & had lots of tiny holes in them. The old fashioned black wrought iron bedheads were not fixed properly to the wall & clanged on the wall when you moved about.
Pros: We reserved this hotel online the day of when we decided to go to the bird refuge. Mollina is tiny town. The hotel also has a bar/fresh sandwich type restaurant. The owner/operator was congenial. Spoke no English. We speak no Spanish but it worked out.
Cons: The room was very cool in April. No need for air - which wasn't on. We did not attempt to activate the heat. Just put on more blankets and slept well. Mattresses could be of higher quality. Everything was spotless. I understand that this town and hotel may get less traffic - therefore less fancy mattresses.
Pros: both great
Don Polvorón Hotel is located next to the A92 Motorway, 1.5 km from central Estepa. It offers free WiFi and a restaurant. The modern air-conditioned rooms feature wooden floors and a TV. They are heated and have a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Seville, Cordoba and Malaga are all around 100 km from the hotel. You can drive to Granada as well as to Granada in less than 2 hours by car.
Pros: every thing
Pros: The staff were lovely as was breakfast and the room was very clean. The staff were also very understanding when I unexpectedly had to leave early.
Pros: We liked the restaurant attached to the hotel and the friendly staff. The freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. The shower pressure was amazing and we had a bathtub as requested.
Cons: The curtains didn't completely block out outdoor lighting, which there was a lot of due to the hotel being next to a petrol station and the motorway, but this wasn't a huge problem. There is no tea and coffee or kettle in the room.
Pros: I felt very at ease, all I asked for, I got or was at least told where to go to find. Highly recommend Don Polvoron.
Cons: Nothing at all, Fiestas in Estepa, was great,
Pros: Good sized bed and even though the hotel is next to the highway, there is hardly any noise
Cons: There was no real reception: you had to check in and out in the restaurant.
Pros: It's just perfect for a short sleep over
Pros: Good quality for a reasonable price, free parking, reception open 24/24, good location.
Pros: Staff is very helpful and the food in the restaurant is great.
Cons: The area around the hotel doesn’t offer much to do. If you drive than no problem.
Pros: Amazing customer service in the restaurant and bar, we were well looked after by diago and Jose, including all the family and other members of staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. The hotel are very good with children, extremely family orientated people. As an English family, the staff took time to communicate with us regardless of the language barrier, which was nice of them :) Good selection of alcohol and food from the menu, the rose wine is particularly nice! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the pedrera area.
Cons: No breakfast available but very good coffee!
Pros: Ideal for a one night stop over. Bar/restaurant menu provided a good choice a value for money.
Cons: Cafe didn’t open for breakfast until 9.00

Cons: The address in booking.com is wrong. It is located ina village nearby called El Tejar but not where location is set. When I came there the owners were gone for some sort of fiesta and the whole hotel was closed. I was not notified but the booking process looked nominal. Nobody was replying on the phone as well. I got lucky because the nearby hostel had contacts with rmployees from this one. When a person came to open the hostel for me she did not have change so I had to exchange money in a restaurant across the street.

Pros: We were totally miss sold as the opening picture and book now sign was that of a chalet. On arrival we were given keys to a 4 m2 shed!! We had to pay more money as I wouldn’t have left my dog in that
Cons: Not been miss sold, I will be careful not to use booking . Com as the owner took no resonsibility and blamed booking. Com
Pros: Beautiful area. Spotlessly clean, hot powerful shower, comfy bed.aircon excellent
Cons: Fridge didn't work but as only there overnight didn't report it.
Cons: There wasn't much to the campsite but then again we went put of season I'm sure in summer it is lovely
Pros: Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The owner went out of his way to meet the expectations of the property. Area very calm and relaxing. Bungalow with tv and air con.
Cons: Would have liked to sit with my dog by the pool
