10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Driving through a rather scruffy Villarobledo I was not looking forward to finding my overnight accommodation at all. But what a lovely surprise it was to turn the corner and see Plaza Ramon y Cajal with its huge church, lovely two-storey arcaded ajuntamiento and selection of bars and restaurants. I parked my car in the Plaza underground public car park and walked to the hotel. I booked in and walked my case and bags from the car and via the small lift into my room on the third floor which was very comfortable with a terrace looking onto the side street. There is an exterior terrace with tables and chairs on the third floor with a magnificent view over the Plaza. The hotel has a smart, rather formal, ground floor bar and exterior terrace with excellent service which I was told served snacks and where I had my coffee and croissant the next morning. I was not able to have dinner there (not sure whether there is actually a restaurant or whether it was just closed) so I had a lovely meal in a restaurant in the plaza. With the hotel’s discount, parking under the plaza was just 6€ (it is not private parking as was indicated in the Booking.com description). I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay here and would certainly recommend the hotel to others.
Cons: Strangely, the shower had a habit of running hot then cold. Manageable once you got used to it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent
Cons: Maybe a little dated but with character
7.9 Good
Pros: Very good location PLEASANT and Helpful Staff
Cons: WE WERE THERE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT ON BOTH OF THESE NIGHTS THERE WAS A NIGHT CLUB NOT TOO FAR FROM THIS HOTEL AND THE NOISE WAS A PROBLEM FROM THE STREET AND THE NIGHT CLUB IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL WE REQUESTED A QUIET ROOM AND WE DID GET A VERY NICE ROOM
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: The owner was very rude to my family who are locals in the town. The room stinks like poop. The toilet didn’t have water on the first day. I notified the problem, later on the day I checked the toilet was working, but the once the water yank was full the water keep running.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Attractive hotel set in a nice square with several bars and a huge beautiful church opposite.
Cons: The restaurant wasn't open the evening we were there.(A Monday.)
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The showerhead did not move and it was right under the pipes hard to take a shower

Pros: The Room
Cons: The breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well situated in bright and noisy town centre, restaurants around and masses of children enjoying themselves.
Cons: Ask for a room away from the noise of the Friday night disco
4.0 Okay
Cons: We booked 2 rooms, one triple room and one single room, but we got two double rooms and to be worse they were in the basement without windows!!! How is this possible? I spoke about this with the staff of the hotel and they gave me just 1 double room in the 1 floor, the other one was still in the basement. The room on the first floor was acceptable but in the basement not. And to be worse there was loud music coming from the street until 4.00 in the morning.
7.0 Good
Cons: A bit weary and noisy
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, pet friendly without extra charges, good price quality relation, recently renovated so felt fresh and new. Spacious rooms.
Cons: Breakfast consisted just of dry pastries full of sugar and some toast. No self service so we had to wait for coffee and the toast because there was only one woman doing everything and obviously she could not serve everyone at once. The shower screen was too short so water ended up on the floor and the sink was tiny. No hair dryer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location
Cons: Bedroom cold
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Attitude of manager. On arrival he asked if I worked for ISIS, as a joke. I didn't find it funny. Without a prompt, he gave his opinion on Brexit and other matters which was unnecessary.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old spanish hotel, beautiful interior and garden space. The pool is a bonus and parasol, chairs and pool towels all provided. Home made breakfast of toast, tomatoe, cakes, jam, coffee and juice. Very friendly hosts.
Cons: The restaurant we went to last year and liked had changed hands so tried a different one this year which was a wine bar. The wine bar was ok but a little bit fast foody.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here for the first time last week. San Clemente is a small town, but this casa is well located near the centre. There is street parking all around, but the casa has a small courtyard for a few vehicles and many motorcycles. The house itself is 17th century. It is delightfully quirky, and has been in the family for many years. It has been maintained in character, and is very clean. The owners are extraordinarily helpful, and speak excellent English. The rooms are surprisingly large with good en suite bathrooms. WiFi is fairly quick given the thick walls, and there is a television too. Rooms also include a minibar and air conditioning. Outside there is a private garden with swimming pool and a barbecue area for the warm months of the year. As expected, it is very quiet at night. A comprehensive breakfast with local and homemade produce is available between 9 am and midday. In the evening, I went to Saboreate in the centre of town. Although it looks like a delicatessen shop, it serves local food, and is delightful. Interesting beers and wine are available. (Owner speaks good English). I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Nothing

5.0 Okay
Pros: Dinner was excellent, menu options however very limited, room decorations also agreeable and recently redone,
Cons: There is a safety risk with the light in the floors, at night floors are dark until someone passes and the lights flash up, too bad if you are still walking in the dark and meet some unexpected steps, this is really serious, breakfast was fair but started way after being promised
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Love the hotel, beautiful building, friendly staff.
Cons: The location is very industrial very dark and smelly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect!
Cons: Nothing.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff and dinner
Cons: Pool was green, appeared closed when we arrived. Breakfast nothing special.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A great place, friendly on arrival, nice clean room and comfy bed. Dining was excellent thanks to a very good waiter. Very fair price all round. I would be happy to return only next time I will be better informed regarding when and what to expect regarding breakfast.
Cons: Breakfast staff rude and obstructive. I had been told at reception the evening before that breakfast was 07:30 and made appointments for the day based on that information. At 07:30 the woman was still sorting out the food and refused to listen to my explanation or do anything about it. As far as she was concerned breakfast was at 8. I left having had a bruised banana and a cup of coffee the latter grudgingly provided. I stopped off and got something better and served with a smile on my journey.

Pros: Excellent
Cons: limited english

Cons: stair carpets need replacing... more than a little worn.
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: Heating was poor
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Very Spanish
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel for a one night stop en route to Murcia. Beautiful comfortable room with a terrace. Private car park.
Cons: Nothing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The ground floor is 100% Spanish. Bullfighting memorabilia, busy with families, older men playing cards and half of the town calling in for a quick coffee or a beer. Chic it is not! But it is a great example of a local place serving its community. Upstairs is a modern hotel with clean bathrooms, good beds, A/C and more quirky decor. Realistic everyday prices in the bar and (again in the bar) breakfast was basic but great, with fresh squeezed orange juice and tostadas. Look out for the huge displays of knives or sale and the regional products at fair prices.
Cons: Travellers always find Spanish restaurant dining hours inconvenient and we stayed in January (off season ). But the staff kindly cooked us pizzas.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really nice and helpful.
Cons: It was a great stop over for traveling from the south east coast to Madrid. Whilst not in a pretty part of La Roda, the atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very central but quiet. Lovely room and great staff
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A while since I stayed her but very happy to experience this independent hotel again. It is a wonderful example of a community bar/restaurant/hotel that caters for all the community at different times of the day. Workers, pensioners, mothers and children. Would that such establishments existed in England but sadly they don’t

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was extremely helpful and welcoming, finding somewhere dry and safe to store my bike overnight; the room was beautiful and very clean. ¡Muchas gracias!
7.9 Good
Pros: What made this great was the location. San Clemente is a lovely town...a great square, floodlit church, lovely bars and restaurants and the people were really friendly. I even found a free concert in the bull ring. The hotel itself is attached to a restaurant and was shut when I arrived but one of the staff came and opened up and let me in...get the impression I was the only one there or it could just have been quiet. The rom was basic but clean and comfortable and had air conditioning albeit noisy. In the morning there was no one around so I just left the keys. But a great little place I would love to go back to.
Cons: Bit strange there not being anyone n the desk to give keys to but the member of staff I met when I first arrived was really helpful and the restaurant staff were very friendly.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was located in a real, genuine old Spanish town, deep in the middle with narrow roads and mixed in with houses and little merchants - just what we were hoping to see lots of on our trip. Please don't let the comments below imply that we did not enjoy our stay - we did - very much.
Cons: The instructions into the location left much to be desired! We had to stop many times within a couple blocks of the locations to get directions from folks who spoke no English at all. The staff, while very courteous and pleasant, had NO English speaking people - this was truly a little town business dealing with locals. A lot of pointing, smiling, grunting, laughing and a phone based translation app got us what we needed. When we awoke on Sunday (the next morning) we were the ONLY people in the hotel/restaurant. We locked up behind ourselves and left.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good price for what you get.
Cons: They don't speak English
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reasonably priced and well situated
Cons: Perhaps the single rooms were a little cramped and claustrophobic. I left my kindle and I phone lead and plug in my room;despite a ‘phone call and texts to the hotel,no one has contacted me about their whereabouts.I am very disappointed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Like location of hotel...and big thank you waiter cant remember his name big man..also girls on reception.
Cons: Noting to dislike...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All of it, the staff were so friendly, the food was good, we enjoyed ourselves.
Cons: Bathroom facilities could be improved. There is some noise from the refurbishments next door (not the hotel's fault) and private parking was full so we had to park in the main street.

Cons: Access to this hotel is only possible from exit 40 on the motorway. This is fine if you are heading east; but coming from Valencia you need to exit at Junction 37 and return back along the motorway to junction 40 as the only exit is on this carriageway
