The room was warm and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, ideal after a day out Skiing. Not really any, although it is situated in a small village with narrow streets, so it's better to park a couple of minutes walk away.
Excellent! Staff went out of their way to help us get settled in (we arrived at 2am). Rooms are clean and spacious! Perfect, if you are planning to ski in Baqueira. Not much, other than there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity.
Excellent experience. A little hard to find but once there the staff could not have been more helpful. When my son did not like the loft of the room they arranged a second room for him. There was a wifi router on every floor, hence excellent signals. Food was home cooked, excellent, and the family even asked what we liked and made special dishes for us, like plain pasta for my son and vegetables for us. The hostel was nearly empty and they may not be quite so flexible when they are full.
Very friendly and helpful staff, but it helps if at least one of you can speak a little Spanish. Beautiful area. The place had a welcoming atmosphere even though there were not many guests staying the night we were there. Breakfast and dinner were very good but it seems that in the summer months they only serve dinner if enough guests ask to eat in rather than go down to Vielha. It was a typical friendly mountain hostal/pension and is presumably very busy in winter with skiers but as a touring base or stop-over in the summer months, it's well worth considering. We'd go back again for sure. The parking immediately outside the hostal is very limited and difficult to access. However, there is a large car park just below the hostal which was almost empty when we were there. It's set a little way above Vielha, so anyone wanting to stroll to the town ought to be prepared for a long walk back up (or take the car).
Friendly, small, family-run establishment. Excellent value for money accommodation. Evening meals were substantial, very cheap (with a bottle of wine and locally produced liqueurs and coffee included!) and generally excellent. Offered free excursions with a very knowledgeable local guide and free Internet access. The playing of pop videos on the large TV screen in the restaurant! A bizarre feature, at odds with the overall character of the pension.
Helpful staff No air conditioning. It was hot. flys in the room (Because they have opened the window in order to cool the room...). The room is not conportable.
Room was very spacious and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good.
The atmospher was calm, the staff was very kind, the breakfast very complete, fresh. We appreciated also the swimming pool and sauna free. It seems calm because we have no neighbourgs during 5 nights. The last night a family with young children arrived in the room next to you at midnight. It was very noisy, it seems that all the family were in our rooms !! it's the alone negative pouint of our stay.
we thought the layout was fine and our children enjoyed the amenities. The appartment hotel was well situated close to the center (a short walk) and no noise. breakfast was a bit flimsy. Could have been better presented
The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The Spa facilities were also adequate and relaxing. The Hotel is only a couple minutes walk from the middle of town, and had a very relaxing and comforting atmosphere. the jets in the hot tub sprayed cold water. other than that, the hotel was perfect.
The space and the swimming pool. Non
The breakfast is good, the town is beautiful The rooms are smoked, even though I asked for non smoking rooms. The parking cost 8 euro, but there are plenty of free parking all over the town. The rooms are very small, and there are no air condition (it's hot in the summer ,about 28 at noon). Some of the staff doesn't speek english.
Staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet was very, very nice. Good location for getting out and ambling through the town. Parking a bit tight but doable. Strong wifi in the room was a pleasure. Overall a really nice cozy hotel in a nice mountain town. Well worth a stop and stayover.
The site, access to wonderful Romanesque churches, lovely friendly staff and really excellent food Signing of access to the hotel coming from the north. We entered by the first opening & had to turn around & go back to the road - not easy!
The location in the Pyrenees was wonderful if you are into mountains. A very modern hotel in excellent condition. More a place to stay in winter than summer. The town of Vielha is 2km away but looked a thriving place and very suited to the winter sports enthusiasts. Plenty of car parking space but limited close to the hotel entrance.
best location.beautiful rooms and view. most of the staff do not speak english. wi-fi was not availeble in the rooms.
the property is magnificent food on site is expensive
Beutiful location. Great value for the money. Convienient and warm
Location and situation
The Spectacular location Food not up to 4 stars
great view, great location
hotel was warm, spacious and with great views. was not within walking distance of the town.
Nice room , beautiful surroundings , good food , town is fun Not that I did not like but looks like it's time for a remodle.
Excellent location, great spa facilities, very friendly staff, very good breakfast and free hot chocolate after a days skiing, really enjoyed it.
Very nice staff, god value for the money. More international television.
Although we stayed only for one night, our experience was absolutely great. The hotel has a perfect location, at the city center but with a wonderful view to the valley. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of hot and cold plates. Will definitely come back! We had a problem to locate the hotel, even with a GPS. the receptionist was aware of the problem but it seems that the hotel doesn't do anything to solve this problem (Inform Google to update Google Maps with the hotel's address)
Good location Food was ok but not brilliant
the room was very confortable. the spa is exellent.
We had some very strict dietary requirements (strict vegetarian and no onion or garlic!). The hotel staff were excellent, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs The pillows were so soft, there may as well have been none - made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep.
Excellent apartment, very well equiped and in a very nice city.
Cleanliness, location, value for money A bit noisy with traffic on the front side of the hotel
the apart. is very good for family holiday the staff was not at my arrival(the keys were waiting in an envelope) .breakfast was not ready at all ,nobody was at the hotel to serve breakfast at 0730 in the morning inspite the declaration in the elevator that breakfast is served.
It was a wonderful experience. Called earlier to notify of late arrival and staff left key at front so we could get in late at night. Very accomodating! No - Was a great experience
The beds were very good, so was the bathroom. If you sleep on the frontsite, then there is very much (too much) trafic-noice, nearly day and night.
easy access and close to shops and restaurants Reception closed at 9pm and nobody available after this time in the building.
Excellent property, will stay again. Room too hot and no A/C, opened windows , then too noisey, a fan was provided in the room. In house info and a few TV channels in English and French would be appreciated - most of us don't speak Catalan ! Minor things - the place is really nice.
Cheap Breakfast poor. Staff service poor
the receprion was open only few hours a day which is very uncomfortable
Proximity from the centertown. You can park the car very close to the Hotel. Our apartment bathroom smells strange.
A comfortable and welcoming hotel, individual and eccentric. Great facilities at a good price.
We found this to be a delightful hotel with a strong family atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was excellent, and breakfast and dinner were very good. (We were staying only one night, off season, so did not use the facilities of the pool etc.)
Friendly staff. Excellent room with view of mountains. Nothing. (1 night stay only).
welcoming and comfortable
Nothing in particular. The hotel is a bit "out-dated" and in need of a management that not only keep things going as they have for the last 25 years. The announced "breakfast included" was not available and we were instead directed to the cafeteria next door, probably also operated by the same owner. No real breakfast offer, but simple sanwiches. At no cost, but anyhow...
The friendliness and efficiency of the staff , warm and comfortable room and unique decor.
Staff knew me. I had ordered wine one night and could not recall the name the next night but the staff knew and sent it up to my room for me.
Good, well equiped room. Comfortable.
front desk staff were extremely helpful with dinner reservations/recommendations!! the fee (10 euros per person) to use the pool and sauna was exhorbitant. There should only have been a fee for massage services, not core swimming pool access and/or access to the sauna, locker rooms etc.
Friendly, helpful and accomodating staff. No
good rooms and beds, clean bathroom, OK installations, friendly staff bad management of room heating, too high at night and none during the day, without possibility of regulating it. Improvable breakfast (no variation, few options).
Good location and superb breakfast choice. Pool too hot and the brochure picture makes it appear bigger than it is.
Kind personnel who was waiting for our arrival till late hour to prepare us a dinner. Food was very tasty. The rooms are comfortable, very nice outdoors. I'd recommend this hotel to stay in a beautiful Pyrenees.
No help to transport luggage to and from room.No help to find a taxi.No room service at all during the day until 8:00 pm. If you get sick as I did you stay all day with no food.or drinks.Nobody could help me to buy something outside.
The size of the rooms, the comfort, the spa area and the breakfasts. Too hot in the corridors!
The hotel was very nice, attentive to our needs and excellent value for money The spa opened after 1700 and you had to pay extra (but I suppose this helpsed to keep the room price down)
Good location, friendly staff, close to, restaurants, supermarket and tourist shops. Parking was sparse.
The friendliness of the staff, and willingness to assist in smallest of the query. A small fan or aircondition in the room would have been useful
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms very pleasent. It was in a good postion in town. No car parking facilities.
fire not lit in lounge
Its location in the town close to free parking. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was limited if you turned up in the latter half of the advertised period. Staff were looking to get tables set for lunch.
clean and comfortable, friendly staff.
location, helpfull staff, the variety of breakfast no
Good access to town centre Access by car is rather difficult - I got a severe talking-to from a policeman for stopping outside to pick up our bags when leaving!
Convenient location within easy reach of national parks and good walking. Village location was excellent with good choice of restaurants and bars. Second floor room had no aircon and was too warm. We had to ask for a fan which was provided. Lounge/bar service was unacceptable. We received no service and eventually left the hotel for a village bar.
Good ski hotel. Very clean and nice open common rooms The rooms were exceptionally noisy - paper thin walls. I would not go back because of this reason alone.
Staff was very kind and helpful. Hotel is in a small mountain village, very quiet and well maintained. We have enjoyed our stay a lot.
It was very peacifull, and the hotel is very close to Boi Taull Resort and to a National Park
The location and ammenities were great. The staff in the main were very good, particularly in the bar area, with just the occasional lapse at the front desk. The food was also consistently very good with again only one slight lapse when the restaraunt was very busy. We were there during what was the hottest period for some time and found the hotel to be pretty warm as there was no air conditioning or balcony to the rooms.
Very nice hotel in a reasonable driving distance to travelling areas. The room was very comfortable.
we loved the place, the place and the whoole 4 days there i would put a shower in the room called el mirador, apart of this, everithing was fantastic
The staff were exceptional and in particular Laura Roco who helped us through the menu and made excellent suggestions for walks and visits in the area.We think you have a superb hotel and the staff make it, they cannot be faulted.. 2 Minor criticisms----the pillows could be improved and it was difficult to read in the bedroom, better reading lamps would be an improvement.
4 bed room was large and served it's purpose well for a family. bathroom was able to be accidentaly locked by children
Easy to find. Good location in a lovely Spanish town. 2 minutes walk up to town square. Big room, nicely furnished. Very good buffet breakfast, orange juice was not watered down (this is unusual). The restaurant wasn't open at night, but next door just up the hill is an fantastic restaurant with top-notch service, excellent menu del dia at night including duck starter and great steak main course Staff didn't speak any English. No internet access. We stayed one hot night at the end of July. No air conditioning meant we had to leave the windows open, and of course being Spain there were dogs barking all night. This hotel really needs air-con.
Good location easy to park motorbike outside
Easy to find, plenty of free parking, breakfast was good, town is lively with plenty of restaurants Noisy - road to the front, mountain river to the rear and could not get the air conditioning to work to enable us to close the window - need earplugs ! As with 95% of hotels, there is no info on how to use the a/c
Good breakfast. External appearance of hotel very unappetising.
Excellent hospitality and helpfulness throughout. Clean, spacious good quality rooms. None
The room was excellent. Particularly enjoyed the high class woodwork, joinery and stonework. All this was combined with plenty of space. The service was abysmal. Found ourselves knocking on window and doors for about 15 minutes in order to gain access. Eventually somebody arrived, not from inside but from somewhere outside. The " receptionist" gave us a key to Room 4 and a card similar to a credit card which he explained would turn on the lights but he did not accompany us to the room to demonstrate how it worked. We spent around 25 minutes in the dark trying to find a place to locate this card. My wife eventually found a small slot in a device that looked something like a light switch. This inconvenience could have been saved had the " receptionist" given us 2 minutes of his time. Would not visit again or pass on recommendations.
The staff was very friendly, the rooms really nice and cosy. good breakfast and excellent dinner! Possibilities to park our car and bikes overnight and the owner would even let us wash our bikes after riding. We will certainly return to this place!
Everything. Friendly receptionist. Room spotless and well designed. Modern bathroom. High standard of finish all round. Good breakfast. Will pay a return visit.
Very nice hotel, spotless room, warm desing, great breakfast, very quiet. We didn't want to leave... The street outside the hotel is being renovated- so there's no parking close to the hotel and we had to walk in the rain from a distant parking.
Bike friendly, good off street parking, a short stroll from the center of Vielha. Rooms are spotless and well equipped. Extensive buffet breakfast & friendly helpfull staff.
This hotel was recommended to me by Pere Salvadore from Terrassa who regulary stay there. I have to say that the hotel was excellent in all areas, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The hotel was indeed excellent value for money. I intend to return again, Kind regards,Eddie Tierney ,
Close to beutiful countryside, good farm atmospher. Good breakfast. The hotel neighborhood is undergoing infrastructure work, open duct infront of the hotel and was dificult to carry the luggage.
The place is small and charming. A good breakfast and the staff was very correct at all help request.
Room was clean and well decorated. Hotel decoration is good too. Very easy going hotel employees. There was no receptionist when we checked in. We need to call several numbers to get hold of people who did not speak any English. Eventually the receptionist turned up and checked us in. There was not a feeling of being welcomed and expected.
Everything. A very warm welcome, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, location central but quiet, sauna and gym. Usually able to park in the square close to the hotel, but might be necessary to park elsewhere occasionally. However, parking in Vielha not normally an issue.
