With a stay at B&B Le buche Casa storica in Canino, you'll be 7.8 mi (12.5 km) from Vulci and 9.7 mi (15.7 km) from Terme di Vulci. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and an elevator.
Pros: Warm welcome from the hosts, comfy room, really nice sleep.
Pros: The room had ensuite facilities and provided everything we needed for our stay, including a very comfortable bed. Cinzia could not be more accommodating and we enjoyed our breakfast very much. The location could not be any more central for Canino.
Pros: The B&B is well situated in the historic town centre of Canino, which, in turn, is in the centre of Tuscia. Tuscia is the heart of Etruria, featuring the remains of Vulci, (an important Etruscan city), the "Terme di Vulci" (thermal baths), the nearby cities of Civita di Bagnoregio, Tuscania, Pitigliano, Viterbo, Tarquinia, and also the "Terme di Saturnia". The B&B is situated at the edge of Canino's old town centre, and the entrance opens into a delightfully decorated sitting room with a view over the valley. The owners welcomed us with a tisana to sip in front of their log fire (we arrived in January)! The room with private bathroom and view over the garden below was warm and comfortable. Breakfast included fresh fruit and youghurt, bread and biscuits from the local bakery, a choice of teas and infusions, coffee or cappuccino. Cinzia (the owner) offered plenty of information about where to eat and what to see nearby. We strongly recommend a visit!
Cons: Cinzia warned us that our "Tom tom" might take us to the wrong end of town. It did! If yours does the same, phone her for directions!
With a stay at B&B Qui Dormì L'Etrusco in Canino, you'll be 8.2 mi (13.1 km) from Vulci and 10.1 mi (16.3 km) from Terme di Vulci. Featured amenities include luggage storage and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Rooms are beautiful, they have paintings on the walls. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast with coffee was amazing Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Great location to see a few places around the country side. The owners were absolutely lovely and very helpful!!!!
Pros: great couple run this establishment the breakfast was good and th conversation was better. Added to my trip thanks to some interesting sites given to me.
When you stay at Nuovo Cerrosughero in Canino, you'll be 15 minutes by car from Museo Civico "f. Rittatore Von Willer". Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We absolutely loved this place! Josephina was a brilliant host. The property is in a stunning location set in 210 acres of working farmland. Views are spectacular. Room was spacious, clean, cool, lots of spare bedding and towels. Furnished and finished to a high standard. The food was most definitely the best of our holiday. All local produce. Menu is exquisite with food cooked and served to perfection. Pure heart and soul in every action of Josephina and her staff. We were made to feel so welcome, amazing experience and fantastic value for money. We will definitely be returning to Cerrosughero!
Cons: There wasn’t anything to dislike.
Pros: Ex.cellent in every way
Pros: I liked absolutely everything about it ..the place is extremely clean, beautiful and so peaceful in the middle of nature yet close to many different attractions . One of the best qualities also are the staffs specifically Pina she is very welcoming and friendly she take care of everything even small details..
Pros: Great place out on the country side with an amazing view over the fields and mountains. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Missed a arranged seating area outside the room however. The restaurant served one of the most delicious meals we have had in Italy and the personnel were very welcoming and took care of our needs. Had a nice breakfast out on the terrace as well. The pond in the garden was not filled during our stay which would have made the place even more beautiful.
Pros: The rooms were perfect: spacious with great facilities and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant, which had typical food and was delicious, although prices are not of an agriturismo, but of a normal restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic, but only with sweet option (proper Italian
Cons: Although we knew there wouldn’t be any, Wi-Fi access in the rooms could be an improvement
Pros: .The owner of the property (Josephina) was simply wonderful even if she knew very little English. Never stopped working so hard to make us feel welcome, but she desperately needs additional good supporting staff to make this place work.
Cons: Breakfast had masses of sweet-stuffs such as flans, puddings, cakes etc at the expense of savouries; very small selection of meats & cheeses, no eggs and coffee was supplied by the cup, rather than in a pot; disappointing overall.always kept clea Pool looked a little scruffy and the whole place generally seemed tired. Rooms were always kept clean but facilities needed updating.....the bidet was IN the shower enclosure!
