The location was beautiful and really peaceful. The staff was very friendly. It really felt like an escape to a different world. The double room where we stayed was not that comfortable although I saw a suite which was very nice. The dinner in the restaurant was not that impressive.
Nice location and nature around, but a car is needed, helpfull staff, ample bathroom lack of sound isolation between rooms, corridor and rooms,
Wonderful romantic atmosphere, far from hustle and bustle with all the conveniences and comfort one can ask for.
Good taste, late dining , very clean, friendly staff Quite difficult to find from the high way , no mirror in the room !
Its peaceful location and good pool and breakfast choice The expensive and unchanging dinner menu
Nice sized clean rooms with a great tea kettle and fridge. Dog allowed in room and restaurant. Park right across the street to walk dog. On the street, by the door parking was always kept available for us. Staff put out breakfast early for us as we had to leave early in the mornings. Good breakfast spread with delicious coffee. HUGE Sunday market with yummy stuff to buy. Tiny shower. Steps with no lift to rooms.
The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful with requests, directions and general advice. Went out of their way to help us. We were put into two very ordinary, dingy dark little rooms off the ground floor lobby for the first night, in spite of the fact that I had booked rooms many months before on this site. As this had been the weekend of a huge annual festival in town, I couldn't help but conclude that we had been shoved down there to make room for a couple of late bookings. They did move us the next day to two very pleasant rooms on the first floor though, The guest internet point downstairs wasn't working and this is apparently common - they need to spend money updating system for guests. Breakfast though adequate, was pretty ordinary and could be vastly improved.
By luck I was in Asti on an annual holiday week, everyone was having great time
Friendly staff. Convienent location.
Very friendly and helpful staff
We had a balcony overlooking the park and it was lovely. no
Helpful staff. Room was a good size and well appointed. Good breakfast, plenty of choice including fresh fruit.
Marco and the staff did all they could to make us at home. Warm friendly greetings and a wonderful room and breakfast. We felt we were at home. The locations was fantastic. The Palio square only a short walk and Andrea arranged for tickets for us... not easy to do. The city of Asti is a great location and we have recommended it to our family in Italy (Pisa). No bad points
This is a very pleasant, easy to find hotel for a brief stay in Asti. It is well situated close to the main square of the town and facing a pleasant park. Comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. A bottle of Asti is offered.
Quiet; very nice decor; immaculate; helpful, friendly staff; fantastic restaurant. We did not find anything negative regarding the hotel or its facilities in our visit.
Unique experience. The owner take personal care to their guests. The restaurant is also excellent.
The cleanliness, the room was comfortable, modern and new .
Everything !!!!! One of the best we have stayed at. The hotel is a remodeled Italian villa...... Clean rooms, very friendly and efficient staff, great location, and our room had a beautifull terrace that we could sit and dine on. Our room also had a small very well stocked kitchen with a small refrigerator, microwave and a stove. The breakfast was set in each room so you could eat at your leasure. Not a thing
Very friendly staff Clearer directions to the hotel as it is located on a one way streeet. Should have an umbrella to protect from the sun on the terrace.
The location of this hotel is excellent. We had a spacious room, immaculate. Free internet was excellent. Staff spoke good english, and were very pleasant. Would definitley return! Parking across the street in a public lot, although understandable in that area.
Own Kitchen facility Shower was dark and therefore hard to see what you were doing.
Nice, relaxed and wonderful surroundings. We loved the size and style of the Maxi Suite.. Wonderful pool area.
the location, the wine, the building and the people....very gentle and authentic! breakfast
fantastic location & pool
The location of the hotel was fantastic, set in a castle with its own vineyard. The rooms were very large and well decorated and equipped. The hotel provided great views from the pool. There is a wine shop on site and a wine museum. I believe the staff are the owners and they were all very helpful and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. Overall this was a really great place to stay and left you with the feeling of having stayed somewhere very special.
It was a spectacular location. Very quite and relaxing and I felt rather special staying there. There was no bar, however wine from the winery was on sale. There was also no restaurant on site and you had to drive to the nearest one.
The Castello was charming and tasteful and located in a setting that was so bucolic and beautiful as to almost seem unreal. A memorable stay.
The staff is awesome and the rooms and hotels grounds are very very nice
The Hotel is really good. Everything was perfect. I liked everything: staff, breakfast, room with a nice view, very clean, very confortable, nice bathroom. Great.
The family is wonderful. We arrived after midnight and when we finally were able to locate them they graciously came right over and helped us into our room. This is a wonderful location to use as a base to explore the Piedmont area. The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and there is a gorgeous swimming pool. The Relais is also a winery where we had a great tour and wine tasting. Breakfast is included and it was delicious. We can't wait to come back and stay longer!
Great location! staff excellent
Hotel staff, most friendly and efficient
Nothing in particular No
ok but can be little less expensive
Lovely hotel, excellent location right in the centre of Asti. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast included. Parking is no guaranteed. The only thing I could complain about is the price. Although we stayed there during a busy festival weekend so that can be expected...
Hotel is located near to railroad station and convenient to good restaurants and down town. A bit pricey but worth it.
The bed was great. Having to check out so early.
Location in City The site mentions car parking is available but this is only possible on metered street positions
the cleanliness of the room the fact that it had stairs to go to the room - no easy with luggage and no porter offered to help take cases to the room.
the hospitality of the stuff
Wonderful hotel staff and facilities at there. i wish to again come back...
This was a positive surprise. Very pleasant place with friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Lot of local flavor in house design and furniture. Located in the middle of Moncalvo vineyards with nice views to the village and surrounding hills. Superb pool and excellent local food and wine. Children (9 & 10 yrs) enjoyed the stay as well.
Nice location in the middle of vineyards, quiet countryside. The staff gave us very warm welcome; they were really helpful and friendly all the time. The room was clean and big enough for two people. The outdoor swimming pool and the wine cellar are a big plus! Wine variety is really good. I would recommend this hotel for couples who want to spend relaxing holiday in the countryside. Breakfast could contain a bit more options.
It is the perfect place for a weekend break - we went for Easter and it was lovely - stunning country side with the Alps in the far distance and rolling hills covered in grape vines all around. Cascina Spinerola is a friendly, family run hotel, and feels like staying with family. We were made to feel very welcome - the family made every effort to please us and make sure we had everything we needed. Most of the food and the wine is made on site and is exceptionally good - especially the wine!
Hotel facilities and staff were excellent. The restaurant offers high quality food at reasonable prices and made dinners extremely convenient especially for people with very young children.
an absolutely lovely hotel, peaceful and relaxing, a home away from home. I caouldn't ask for any better. I'll always go there again .
Beautiful setting, wonderful staff (could not have been more helpful and hospitable), incredible views, wonderful food, great wine. The local village is a bit quiet with a limited choice of restaurants but Cascina Spinerola itself is a haven - so I'd suggest stay in the hotel!
The hotel was modern and clean with a pleasant design, the breakfast was nice We arrived at 10 in the evening and were informed that there is no dinner or even room service available. There was wi fi only in the reception area. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from the main road
The welcome from this most attentive family was so warm. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and the pride they showed in their service is a rareity. For us it was fabulous as we had a car but this hotel could be considered a little of the beaten track without your own transport....
Nothing much, no restaurant or bar in hotel, no internet..who would like it?oh.. They had small jucuzzi tub. Drove through snowing road.. Nothing to eat aftera long driving. Restaurant did not open that day. Seem I was the only guest that day. No internet(but paid) but wireless does not work in the room so had to go to lobby... Where connection is very slow and could not access one web sit. With such bad connection they deducted the connection fee...but I had to waste my time going up and down the hotel
The gift I found in the room
Friendly staff, secure parking, close to city centre, spacious and clean
Location Parking is too small and dificult to drive in if you have big car !
The staff was extremely helpful. Our room was amazing and SO nice! n/a
owners very friendly and helpfull it was a nice hotel to spend time in good location the air conditioning was hopeless, it was like a steam bath during the day when the outside temperature was high.
good location.room size good. light breakfast provided. heater only allowed on between 6.30 and 8.30 pm and they turn it off if you have it on so room freezing day and night. they will give you extra blankets but thats it.
Very nice welcome and excellent Italian food Old fashion room but very clean
Convenient for motorway Breakfast was limited
Nice personnel and large rooms Like everywhere in Italy, poor breakfast
Very friedly and hard working staff.
staff excellent - very friendly. dining room not open every evening which meant a drive to another hotel which was not quite so nice
An excellent value: delicious food in the on-site restaurant at modest prices. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable. Location is quiet outside of town.
free wireless, not far from Asti and highway no air conditioning so it can be hot
We had a "junior suite" with a balcony and an amazing view. The room was very large and was well equipped. Service with a smile and tips about the region. It was truffle season!
A lovely hotel with very kind (English) speaking owners. Hotel used to be an old farm and is completely reshaped to a very luxery hotel with marvelous rooms. View from the hotel to the valley is great! Hotel lies in the middle of an excellent wine area (Piemonte). Absolutely no complaints
Friendly staff, excellent location, great room None
The owners were very nice and friendly and the rooms were nice, big and quiet. Everything was great.
Very nice and familiar hotel in a modern but also traditional style with kind hotel keepers. The rooms and the whole hotel were very clean and inviting. Our room was more a suite than a room with a huge and fully equipped bathroom and had a nice view over the surrounding hills. The breakfast was not very rich but freshly prepared with real espresso/cappuccino. The only constraint was some noise from the nearby country road at night - but that was not a big problem.
Absolutele a delicious place to wind down, you can do nothing,or very little. The Patrons, scenery are gorgeous& there is noboby on the roads.
We enjoyed to stay at the Locanda Del Melograno. Thanks to the owners who provided us with all the information we needed for a beautiful walk and places for wine tasting.
