Cons: Great Hotel, Great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! It is rated as 2* but to my mind it should be 3* - it is super clean, there is lots of space but manages to feel cosy whilst also being cool and they’ve thought of everything a guest might wish for. Very impressed and I highly recommend and am staying another two nights to prove it!
7.9 Good
Pros: The owner was very helpful, stored our bikes, tried to understand our wishes for a vegan breakfast, and for tea, rather than coffee. He allowed us to make a cup of tea when we arrived using his own kitchen.
Cons: Main drawback was that the 'shower room' had walls only up to a certain height and no door. We found this insufficient privacy. No kettle in the premises therefore a little awkward to get a cup of tea..

Pros: Big room (number 4), spotlessly clean and warm with a smart bathroom. Hurrah for a decent sized basin. The whole place exuded a feeling of calm and charm. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
Cons: Loo seat a bit wobbly...perhaps a second easy chair in the room would be good but that's just being picky.

Pros: Great pool after long day cycling! Generous breakfast! Informative hosts!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This has to be the score of 10 against which all others are measured. The welcome, the facilities, the thoughtful touches, the breakfast are all absolutely first class. We have stayed in many places but BandB Douce is the very top of the tree. We arrived on a cycling tour so the first thing Fred offered was to drive us in to town either to a restaurant or to a supermarket. As the facilities included a full kitchen I chose to accept the offer of a lift to the supermarket, after we had showered and made use of the excellent swimming pool. The rooms and bathroom are extremely comfortable and all done to a very high standard. Additional touches like external mosquito nets over the window and electric shutters make this stand out from others. The bed was really comfy and we slept well. Breakfast, served by Fred and accompanied by an enjoyable chat with David, was impressive. Croissants, baguette, coffee, tea, ham, cheeses, jams, yogurt etc. Knowing that we were cycling along the canal that day, Fred was even thoughtful enough to provide us with extra food to make sandwiches for our lunch, and the foil to wrap them. Such thoughtfulness makes this place stand head and shoulders above most accommodations. I can not think of any way it could be improved. Thank you Fred and David.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Rooms are rather drab
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For what is a basic motel, the restaurant was really amazing! The rooms are larger than usual for a Ibis Budget type facility, but sparsely decorated. Adequate to the task with a comfortable bed. Dinner was amazing and its worth turning up in time to have this! Plenty of open parking for a van like ours. Just off the motorway, but no traffic noise.
Cons: Self service breakfast was adequate - certainly enough, but perhaps a little poor on choices.

Pros: Lovely Manor house in a beautiful setting. Best breakfasts we have ever had in France. Karel and Martin made us very welcome.
Cons: Nothing-all good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything with Manoir Larcoillet. We got a very warm welcome from Karel and Martine who were wonderful hosts throughout. The room itself was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep on the really comfortable bed. The bathroom was very special - with a sunken bath and power shower. Dinner and breakfast were very good - Karel is an excellent chef. All in all we had an excellent stopover...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A well kept rural manoir equipped with swimming pool and air conditioning in a large private park with tall trees. We’ve had a room with excellent ergonomic bed (good for the spine) and a new large bathroom on the upper floor. The landlords were very helpful in recommending local sightseeings and good restaurants in the vicinity. The highlights were breakfasts – first morning in the main dining room (near chateau style) and the 2nd morning outside under the tall trees with beautiful views of the country side. The landlords took care of every detail – home made croissants (!) and jams, 3 types of artisan breads, yoghurt, fresh fruits, several kinds of ham, soft cheeses etc. We’ve had enough privacy though felt attention of the landlords whenever it was needed.
Cons: Just one point – very slow Internet connection. Would be great to have a faster wifi Internet the next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fabulous place!!! The hosts are wonderful. The house is super charming with great facilities. (Including a Super swimming pool). The dinner was completely delicious (Karl aka Charles) is a very skilled chef!!! Staying at Manoir Larcouillet was the perfect end to our holiday and we were so well looked after by the hosts. I would go back in the morning if I could :))
