Pros: Lovely large air conditioned room , very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom . Marie was very helpful , breakfasts generous and good with super home made jam especially the cherry !
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was made instantly welcome by the host Marie. ‘Au Nid de la Madeleine’ is round the corner from all shops in Gaillac, a charming historical town. My large bedroom and en-suite facilities were kept spotlessly clean. I was also very pleased with the generous Continental breakfast served every morning. Marie also prepared a very nice meal from a set menu on the evening before my departure - this is an optional extra. Guests are free to use all facilities in the kitchen, which is well equipped, and they can always make themselves at home in the very comfortable living room. As expected, Marie is very knowledgeable on facilities in the local area, and there is a wealth of information on the Tarn area of France - in both Reception and the living room. I felt very much at home and would stay here again if visiting Gaillac.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was very, very nice, and she even gave us a book as a gift! She made us feel like at home. Everything was really perfect! There is a nearby public parking at 3 minutes away.
Cons: Nothing at all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little charming hotel is one of the warmest I've ever stayed in. Very good location, close to everything, spacious, sparkling clean room, amazing home-made breakfast, and hospitable hostess. Wifi was also perfect if you need one. If I get to Gaillac again, I'm totally staying at this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: just the perfect place to stay. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and the large bed very comftable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: our host was very welcoming and friendly. the hotel is more like a family home, with its own personality and charm, beautifully decorated. the bedroom faced the street, but was remarkably quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. we were too tired and not very hungry, so our perusal of the town was limited, but we stopped at a grocery store for simple-to-make food and prepared it in the full kitchen, then relaxed in the very comfortable lounge until we were ready for bed. breakfast the next morning was plenty, and good, and we were very happy with our host and the hotel itself. we recommend it as a pleasant change from standard hotel rooms.
Cons: we weren't very happy with gaillac, but the hotel more than made up for our disappointment.

Pros: Amazing stay! We spend a couple of days in La Cour Verte and it was absolutely fabulous! Thanks for s is a place where hospitality taken to another level - it feels more like you are a guest in your old friends' house rather than a hotel. Everything was very personal, stylish and high quality: from lovely room to home cooked breakfast served by the owner. The cherry on top was the experience that we had on arrival where my husband asked whether any shops were open late at night and as it was too late Bernard gave him a piece of bread with some amazing cheese and glass of rose! "Acec plaisir" and free of charge. What is it if not the top of friendliness and hospitality? Highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully renovated 18th century house, 100 metres from the centre of Gaillac, yet in a relatively quiet one way street. Large rooms, excellent bathrooms. Lovely French breakfast, with good, home made touches, e.g. jams, cakes. Happy and friendly hosts
Cons: Some British travellers may not like the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in rooms, but, in this part of France, it's not unusual. Slightly more unusual is the lack of a tv in the rooms, but great if you want a quiet holiday
10.0 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room, lovely and very helpful staff and a quite superb breakfast in the garden.

Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: lovely house and lovely hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Benard and Delia were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond our expectations. Benard kindly drove us to a wedding which really helped us out as we didn’t have a car and taxis are few and far between. The hotel is very chic and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious! Gaillac is a very quiet town but would be a good base for exploring if you hire a car. Highly recommend staying at La Cour Verte!

Pros: Second visit, this time for a week! A fantastic place to explore the area and/or relax. Michele and Jacques were superb hosts. Michele was a great help in deciding where we could visit, so we could discover even more hidden gems in the area. Who doesn’t love to be welcomed by a great cup of tea!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Château Larroze is a stunning property surrounded by vineyards and well positioned for visiting many nearby towns of historical interest and the lovely city of Albi. Our room was opulent and could have easily featured in any top quality Homes & Interiors magazine. The grounds and the lovely swimming pool, overlooking the neighbouring vineyards, were the perfect place to relax. Michèle and Jacques were generous and hospitable hosts. They went out of their way to ensure that our stay was a memorable one. Breakfast each morning, served by the pool, was an elegant affair with Michèle’s delicious homemade preserves and other treats. We loved our 3 nights at Château Larroze and wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much Michèle and Jacques.
Cons: We loved everything!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Mme. Marie made us most welcome, and provided outstanding breakfasts ( especially her crepes and cake!). The room was very comfortable, and the air -conditioning was not only a bonus, but a necessity, enabling us to sleep at night during the “canicule”. The small garden was a delight, and the almost exclusive use of the pool was wonderful for us and made our holiday. The house is within easy walk of the town centre, and a number of restaurants. Parking, however, is a problem ( see below ).
Cons: Parking. There is no readily available parking outside or to the side or rear of the house. Parking is only available on a public, open air site about 200 to 300 yards away at the top end of the street, out of sight of the house. It is free, but not desirable for a long stay, and with non-local registration!
10.0 Excellent

Pros: It is in a real pleasure to stay here. Very friendly, beautiful rooms, very clean all over and Helene is a perfect cook! I would love to visit this place again one day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In a village with great community feel, rooms very quiet ( except for church chimes at 8 am). The bed was very comfortable. Best of all was the table d’hôtes: Madame is delighted to make the evening meal, with aperitif, entrée, main course, cheese, coffee/tea and wine for an amazing price. We had three evening meals, all delicious. There is a beautiful terrace, perfect exposure for warm summer days. There are lots of walks all around the area, as well as the Gaillac wines. Madame has all the information you will need for shorter or longer day trips.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the second time we have stayed with Helene. The location completely met our requirements for our Gaillac wine tasting and purchases. Fantastic breakfast included. Also took advantage of a very reasonably priced dinner - Helene is a superb cook.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly and helpful host, I instantly felt myself like at home. She provided home cooked dinner, arranged it as a nice calm evening with friends. Bath - WOW! Sadly, I needed to leave at 6:30 - and I got breakfast, specially for me, this early

Pros: Everything was just perfect! The hostess, Helene, is so nice and warm. She takes perfect care of her house and the room is very comfortable.
Cons: not a thing

Pros: Wonderful breakfast and hostess. Beautiful inn and room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located in a beautiful old village
Cons: Not easily accessible by car
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely facility in a unique little hill town. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The shared breakfast and lounging area was large and well decorated- we unfortunately did not have much time to take advantage. Breakfast was not included in the price but continental or hot options were available. The Auberge was a short walk from the main square and parking but we were able to drive in to drop luggage. Great location for a stop between the Dordogne and southern France. Wish we could have stayed longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the wonderful breakfast in comfortable dining area and flexible checkout time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was immaculate, we had the best room in the hotel with wonderful views. Very comfortable but on the 2nd floor up a wide marble spiral staircase
Cons: Problem was, it was out of season, there was nobody else staying, the lounge area was unlit, cold and the owner, a very charming lady, was not good at making her guests (us) feel welcome, we just were shown to our room and left there with no further discussion. We had little communication until after breakfast when we were leaving Would recommend staying in season but not out of season or low season Not told when booking that the restaurant was closed although we had requested a reservation when booking. We were directed to a charming but very ordinary little restaurant down the road

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning property both inside and outside, beautiful bedroom, excellent pool, ample parking, friendly and courteous hosts.
Cons: Only stayed 1 night unfortunately.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The couple that own the B+B are the most wonderful hosts- really friendly, wanted to help in whatever way they could and happy to chat! They really did seem to want us to enjoy all that there was to at the property. The view was incredible, the pool was lovely and the decor of the whole property was excellent. The food was also absolutely delicious although it would have been perfect if there had been an option for eggs at breakfast (but that is just me!)
Cons: It was on the pricey side for what you got in terms of room (we took the best room- deluxe suite) in that the bed was a portable bed and there was only shampoo as a toiletry in the bathroom. That said though it was again in excellent condition and the decor was exceptional. The communal areas were exceptional also.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a lovely location and the property was stunning. We were made very welcome and looked after very well. The food was excellent and we apologise for not letting the owners know we arrived safely at our destination , we had issues with our phones and could not contact anyone. Enjoyed the experience it was lovely.

Cons: Nothing!Impeccable stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This a simply wonderful place to stay. The hosts could not have been more solicitous and helpful. Their food is delicious; their house is beautiful and their company is enchanting. Staying at La Domaine de Perches is a special experience. I can’t imagine how it could be improved.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and elegant; lovely pool; hosts were interesting
Cons: Bed and bedding was not as comfortable as should be for a lovely place of this caliber.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautifully presented house in a perfect quiet location overlooking rolling hills and vineyards. With a car it is easy to see the surrounding villages and further afield, if you can tear yourself away from the stunning pool overlooking the rolling countryside to the hills beyond. Wonderful hosts who make their guests feel extremely welcome and relaxed. A very special and beautiful property, to which we will definitely be returning.

Pros: Fantastically friendly hosts, beautiful room and our girls (8&10) loved their mezzanine bedroom. The room was finished to a very high standard and extremely clean. The continental breakfast certainly didn't disappoint. Although there were a few other friendly guests, we often had the lovely pool to ourselves. A short drive to the beautiful town of Castlenau de Montmiral which has a small but well stocked convenience store, pizzeria and a more expensive restaurant. We were lucky enough to experience the honey festival and a music festival in the town. We also visited Albi which is approximately half an hour drive away and certainly worth a visit. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Pros: Château de Mayragues is set in a very quiet, rural location. although you can walk to the nearest village across the picturesque countryside, which takes about 30minutes. The Château has been lovingly restored by its owners. Our bedroom was very tastefully decorated with lovely french linen bedding and a very comfy bed, we slept extremely well. We were given a warm welcome and looked after very well during our 2 day visit. We were given detailed information about the area, tips on walks and places to eat, including a very good Michelin star restaurant. The breakfast was delicious, typically french and served in a stunning dining room. The Chateau has its own vineyard and the wine is produced in the grounds, we were treated to a fascinating tour and wine tasting experience. The maison is a 19th century building that has been beautifully furnished in period style. It is quiet and secure. The garden is very tranquil and beautiful. Pros: Staff, food and location was great!
Cons: Bed were too hard. Didn't get a good night sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing value Spacious and very private Spa The bar was opened until late
Cons: All great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views were stunning and the whole experience was very romantic.
Cons: The charge to use the Jacuzzi and Sauna at 40 euro each was unrealistic.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was kind and welcoming. Cleanliness and comfort was to the top standard. Beautiful landscape all around the hotel, it was so nice and quiet- perfect for a romantic getaway! We really felt like we were the only two in this beautiful castle. Room was nice and spacious, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable! Amazing dinner and house wine, the real French-style. Kind and friendly staff.
Cons: Great pool, although we wish it were more heated as it was a little cold. We were told we could use the jacuzzi and such facilities but turned out they were at an additional cost. The bath was a little tricky to take a quick shower in as we had water spilling everywhere, but still good nevertheless.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing country location. Quiet
Cons: Not much
7.1 Good
Pros: Amazing amazing chef. Lunch and dinner were off the scale and excellent. A beautiful setting. A lovely building. Great views. Nice pool although it didn’t feel heated.
Cons: The grounds looked messy and the garden needed some attention. We arrived 11am (straight from a boat on the canal du midi) having had no breakfast. They told us there was no food until lunchtime in the restaurant. Very odd! No snacks or food apart from the proper menu? They brought us just coffee. Surely an opportunity missed for them? They didn’t really encourage anything except eating in the restaurant. No drinks by the pool etc. Not many staff. Rooms were large and comfortable but a little tired. There was a separate toilet but no hand basin in it!?. Staff were helpful - ish - but not amazing. Seemed quite hard for them to call us a taxi at the time we wanted. But the food was amazing!
7.9 Good
Pros: View from the rooms and the pool is outstanding and you truly feel like a chatelain living in a nice castle
Cons: Hotel’s Restaurant prices are very high and it’s unlikely will want to have dinner at the restaurant every day (food is great but i would say value for money could be improved given prices are very high). But hopefully there are nice and cheap restaurants a few kilometers away from the hotel.
6.3 Good
Pros: Swimming pool and facilities OK
Cons: Value for money is very poor. In the restaurant, the cocker wants to do his best but no special products. Prices are almost the same as a Michelin star restaurant but the taste is far from it. Except the local wine, everything was overpriced. The spa is accessible only upon reservation, it would be great to let the clients know upfront. Furniture of the room a bit outdated. Big deception even though it has a big potential.

Pros: We loved staying here. Beautiful property in the most idyllic French village. The room was lovely and well decorated. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean and Lionel was an excellent host- delicious croissants and jam for breakfast with fantastic coffee. Only downside was that there isn't anywhere to eat in the village however we found wonderful restaurants, all within a 15-20 minute drive of the property. This meant some lovely meals in stunning historical towns such as Corder sur Ciel, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and Puycelsi.
Cons: It would be nice to have access to the kitchen/a fridge and to be able to keep a bottle of wine or some food but this really wasn't a big deal as we were out nearly all day every day!
