Very welcoming. A proper homely stay. A sort of access all areas house where guests are made part of the fabric. Nice spot in the country with free-range dogs adding to the friendly mix. Catherine and Sean make sure you have all you need and the breakfast was lovely.
Trying to find it was fun! The satnav readings were out so we toured the district before we found it; luckily it is a beautiful area. The local pub, the Flying Saucer, was not very welcoming and the food was the down side of mediocre (shame considering that all our meals in Eire had been gorgeous up till then) fortunately they're giving up doing food this week.
The staff were friendly and willing to help if needed or left you to your own devices.
I least liked the fact that I was charged €20 more through booking.com than was advertised in the room. I had contacted them before using booking,.com and had been told they had no free rooms.
The decor was very dated and I did not feel it was very clean. The breakfast was poor. I ordered tomotoes off their menu and they were clearly tinned. I had never seen this before.
very nice stay run by a super friendly couple
They were a very fiendly and helpful couple
