Alain and Monique were excellent hosts. Helpful with information, making wonderful breakfasts and even proving a welcome aperitif. The Domaine is beautifully furnished and the grounds superb. Highly recommended!
If you don’t like fantastic views and beautiful still quiet evenings then it’s not for you!
Charming hosts with a very warm welcome. Very authentic French house. The host organised a super meal at a near by restaurant ahead of our arrival. This was most typically French with excellent food. The breakfast was a banquet and the champagne on arrival was very much appreciated. The location is idilic. If you like a true French B and B I would truly recommend.
Oh wow.. my partner and I came are from Australia.. admittedly out French consists of yes, no and thank you, so we were a little worried about coming to such a remote part of France... Alain and his beautiful wife Monique were simply gorgeous.. they let us in to their wonderful home and treated us like family. Admittedly they don’t speak a world of English- our fault, not theirs, so it made for some little challenges, but we actually had a wonderful time trying to get to know each other. Jono and I came to France to understand life in France and you most defiantly get it here. The house/ chateau is amazing!! The facilities are what you’d expect and can see in the pictures. Getting food in the area is quite a challenge so do come prepared where you can. However is Alain and Monique offer a recommendation for a restaurant I’d highly recommend to take it, as it is awesome!!! I’d also recommend to take cash, as there is not CC facilities to pay your accom! Thank you for having us into your home. Both Jono and I came to experience what it would be like to live in France and we absolutely got it. I will miss you both and the two dogs dearly. You made our trip absolutely brilliant and I thank you!
