Pros: Everything - ambiance, bio products, animals. super hosts, farmhouse, peace, remoteness, fabulous breakfast. Guests should remember this is a country residence some distance from supermarkets etc, however there are some good restaurants in easy driving distance. We will go back again for sure.
Pros: We booked this last minute as we we’re travelling back to England from the costa Blanca Spain and didn’t know how far in France we would be. We arrived a little later than anticipated as the traffic was heavy but the hosts were amazing. My children were hungry and they couldn’t do enough and have them a healthy and nutritious snack all produced by their farm. Our room was spotlessly clean and they welcomed our little dog too with open arms. We loved all the little quirks and personal touches added to the accommodation. Breakfast was out of this world. Everything was homemade fresh that morning. Bread, plum crumble, smoothie, bread, cake, fruits, tea and coffee. It was incredibly peaceful and scenic and we will definitely come back again when we drive back next year. Maybe we’ll stay a couple of nights. Thank you for a lovely rest stop.
Pros: Amazing place, lovely surroundings, ftiendly hosts.

Pros: The food was all sourced on site and was absolutely divine. Excellent chance to taste local wines. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful - even when problems with my car necessitated extra nights' stay. The family running the chambre d'hôte became close friends and I do hope I can return with my family sometime soon.
Cons: Nothing to report here!
Pros: The position and the quietness. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Prefer bathroom to be separate from bedroom. Unable to open window do too hot. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities. V thin waffle weave towels, not good for v wet husband.

Pros: Oh wow.. my partner and I came are from Australia.. admittedly out French consists of yes, no and thank you, so we were a little worried about coming to such a remote part of France... Alain and his beautiful wife Monique were simply gorgeous.. they let us in to their wonderful home and treated us like family. Admittedly they don’t speak a world of English- our fault, not theirs, so it made for some little challenges, but we actually had a wonderful time trying to get to know each other. Jono and I came to France to understand life in France and you most defiantly get it here. The house/ chateau is amazing!! The facilities are what you’d expect and can see in the pictures. Getting food in the area is quite a challenge so do come prepared where you can. However is Alain and Monique offer a recommendation for a restaurant I’d highly recommend to take it, as it is awesome!!! I’d also recommend to take cash, as there is not CC facilities to pay your accom! Thank you for having us into your home. Both Jono and I came to experience what it would be like to live in France and we absolutely got it. I will miss you both and the two dogs dearly. You made our trip absolutely brilliant and I thank you!
Pros: gorgeous breakfast!
Pros: Alain and Monique were excellent hosts. Helpful with information, making wonderful breakfasts and even proving a welcome aperitif. The Domaine is beautifully furnished and the grounds superb. Highly recommended!
Cons: If you don’t like fantastic views and beautiful still quiet evenings then it’s not for you!
Pros: Charming hosts with a very warm welcome. Very authentic French house. The host organised a super meal at a near by restaurant ahead of our arrival. This was most typically French with excellent food. The breakfast was a banquet and the champagne on arrival was very much appreciated. The location is idilic. If you like a true French B and B I would truly recommend.

Pros: The location and friendly hosts. Also the breakfast was very good.
Cons: All good
Pros: Both hosts were very kind! We loved that after a long drive we were received with a drink at the bar. Such a nice gesture. It immediately made us feel welcome. The room was nice and we loved the way the toilet and bathroom were placed in our room. Small, but just perfect. The wide array of jams (confitures) at breakfast was amazing!
Cons: Just a small suggestion for the owners to offer at breakfast to travelers from outside of France: fresh fruit and something savoury like eggs or cheese. That would make the breakfast perfect ;-)
Pros: Extremely helpful proprietor who offered guidance for our onward travel. Knew the local area very well. Attractive location. Great place for star gazing.
Cons: Only one local restaurant close by
Pros: Very nice for a stop over. Quiet and peaceful location. The oweners are extremely helpful and a very nice couple. They made a reservation in a nearby restaurant for us. Simply perfect!

Pros: Tim and Ingrid were lovely and very welcoming. We booked fairly late notice for an evening meal and they couldn't have been more accomodating. Tim took time to talk us through the different cheeses to taste. The food was excellent and the children loved their meals too.
Pros: We stayed at Chabanettes Hotel & Spa for one night on route to the South of France. We had a large family room which was excellent, two double beds and one single bed. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. We also had the pleasure of having our evening meal at the hotel and it was absolutely delicious. I had emailed ahead to advise that I didn't eat meat but I ate fish and would it be possible to accommodate this, nothing was to much trouble, the meal was outstanding. We would highly recommend the Chabanettes Hotel, the owners are so friendly and welcoming. Thank you
Pros: Tim and Ingrid were excellent hosts. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Gorgeous fluffy towels in the bathroom!
