About Celebrity Solstice
As the head of the Solstice-class at Celebrity Cruises, the Celebrity Solstice is the epitome of luxury and style. Christened in Fort Lauderdale in 2008, the Celebrity Solstice is one of the most decorated and prestigious cruise ships in the Celebrity fleet, sailing to diverse locations such as Alaska, the South Pacific and Australia. The 1,033-foot cruise ship offers a selection of cruises, typically across four to nine-night itineraries. Exciting ports of call on an Alaska cruise include Juneau, Skagway, Victoria and the Tracy Arm Fjord. Guests enjoy shore excursions such as dog sledding, kayaking across Mendenhall Lake, whale watching and zipline adventures in Alaska’s capital, Juneau. Onboard features include the Canyon Ranch SpaClub and a state of the art fitness centre, the Solstice Deck and the iLounge. There is also an open-air grass lawn, where the sophisticated Lawn Club is located. Guests should make sure to visit the Solstice Theater, a comfortable and intimate performance venue for shows and concerts. Children are well entertained, with fun activities, age-appropriate clubs and swimming pools. The 12 deck cruise ship features a number of prestigious staterooms and suites, including the AquaClass and Concierge Class categories. The ship has a maximum occupancy of 2,850 passengers, with 1,426 staterooms, including 1,150 balcony rooms. The most luxurious and spacious rooms are the Royal and Penthouse Suites, followed by the Celebrity and Sky Suites, for a peaceful night’s sleep after an exciting day cruising on the Celebrity Solstice.
