Pros: Very nice and comfortable, lots of parking, rural location
Pros: Lovely people and a great place to stay. Big rooms and a beautiful garden with pool.
Pros: The place was lovely, better in real life than in the pictures. June and Keith were great, really nice and flexible to our late arrival time. Breakfast was great, definetly must try June's homemade jams! Lastly, being a 10 min drive from Cognac and no big city lights everywhere made it possible to see the beautiful clear sky and stars at night!
Cons: There was no wifi available plus no mobile network, which made it a bit complicated for us, given the price maybe wifi could be available at the rooms.
Pros: Perfect setting to stay in Charente countryside. If you are looking for combination of access to Cognac during the day and relax in the morning / afternoon, it is the place for you. June and Keith are very welcoming and taking really good care of guests' comfort.
Pros: June and Keith are great hosts and have spent a great deal of time and effort to make sure a stay with them will be memorable. From the beautiful room with the heated towel rack in the bathroom and a tub that I wish I would have had after our many miles walking in Paris, to the delightful yard, the great breakfast. They have befriended a local cognac distiller, Michel, who is by all counts a charming and typical Frenchman who made time for us to taste and buy cognac like we could never get in the United States. He has won many awards for his cognac and in fact supplies many of the big houses with their eau de vie. Like Courvoissier. Our dinner in Cognac was one of my most memorable of the entire trip, a lamb shank (sousis d’agneau) served over parmentier (mashed potatoes drowning in butter). The place was called La Cellier and would highly suggest reservations if you are going to go there. They don’t open until 7:00 pm. This was our first night in the countryside and would have loved to stay longer but we only had a few days.
Pros: Very good location. Good breakfast and the hosts, Keith and June are amazing! June even arranged a private Cognac tasting at their neighbor’s distillery! Great stay!
Pros: Fantastic location. Fantastic hosts. Nice and large room. Very good breakfast. One of the best B&B I ever visited.
Cons: The toilet was separated from the bedroom only by a curtain.
Pros: Great hosts. Superbe location. Place to remember.
Pros: Charming place. Only 15 min from Cognac center. Nice garden, clean modern svimming pool. Comfortable room. Calm and quite atmosphere during day and night. Good and colourful breakfast.
Cons: The property exceeded our expectations.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, location very quiet & tranquil. Proprietor recommended an excellent restaurant in Cognac.

Pros: The quality of the bedding, the amazing bar area and the general style of the property.
Cons: It would have been nice if the dinner menu included a few lighter a la carte dishes.
Pros: clean room, good bed, good water pressure on the shower. All in all good and clean small hotel, short walk to the river which was lovely
Cons: breakfast was quite simple, no fresh fruit (only watermelon in one morning), or vegetable, ham etc. Just one cheese and boiled eggs (cold in one morning). Very french, just sweet things. Noise from the corridor was annoying, door doesn't keep the noise out.
Pros: Staff extremely helpful and courteous, nice quiet location although too far to walk to town,
Cons: Arrived at 6 o'clock first day of four & was disappointed to find we couldn't use the restaurant as it was fully booked
Pros: The food was amazing for dinner and The restaurant and bar area were beautiful and boutique like

Pros: Very clean, great breakfast.
Cons: Noisy coach party, shouting at 1.30am for over an hour!!
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped one of our party to recover their baggage from the airline after it was lost and proving difficult to resolve. The manager went the extra mile to help us.
Pros: The, facilities - pool, billiards and soccer game. The meals on offer was just right for our kids and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were all super helpful and the manager David lead the way. Thank you.
Cons: The location wasn't the best. On the other hand considering the excellent price/quality it is understandable that a hotel like this can't be located downtown.
Pros: Cooked breakfast
Cons: Everything else was satisfactory
Pros: Central location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean / good size swimming pool. Aircon was really effective
Pros: Nice welcome from the host,!!! Very friendly indeed!!! Good English speaking host!/ manager Nice breakfast ( fresh breed, cornflakes, fruit, yoghurt , toaster , fresh orange juice real bacon and jerrycan eggs, milk juices , enough breakfast 4 the kids) We had a nice stay with 2 adults and 2 children ( 11&4 yrs old) and a small dog Combined Rooms with double beds on 3 rd floor! Nice and clean;) With airconditioning Pool just fine. Not pre warmed but fine for us!;) Burger king etc next door. Great 4 kids!;) Bathroom and shower with soap included. No english tv. , all french!Good Wifi!!
Cons: Nothing really , it was all good 4 a nights stay;)
Pros: Did an overnight stay on the way driving down to Spain. Good and clean interconnecting rooms for 5 person family. Excellent breakfast and super helpful staff, especially David. Surroundings are basic but actually quite tranquil. And they even have a lush swimming pool! Delightful place
Pros: Best with this hotel was the staff! Very friendly and helpful. At breakfast they stood by making all the guests fresh orangejuice and coffee. They made sure that nothing was missing. With big smiles they started the day perfect!
Pros: Family friendly, very accommodating staff
Pros: The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was very nice with aircon. The bar "snack" food was very good and better than what we expected. There were fast food places in the vicinity but we were more than happy with the quality of food supplied at the hotel.
Located in Chateaubernard, Hôtel Restaurant le Passiflore is within a 5-minute drive of Cognac Meukow and Remy Martin. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was a short walk to the center were we had a lovely meal, was very quiet and the rooms were clean and very comfortable and breakfast in the morning was excellent
Cons: Nothing would have made the stay any better,
Pros: Lovely staff. Clean. Very good breakfast.
Cons: We booked a location out of the town centre on the basis that this was a hotel / restaurant. The information on booking.com also referred to the restaurant opening times. We were, therefore, disappointed to find that it was closed during our stay so we had to walk back into town to eat.
Pros: Why do you not include wife/ husband in your surveys or is that two politically sensitive
Pros: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pool in the backyard was very welcome on an exceptionally hot day.
Cons: On a busy main road on the very edge of Cognac - not a very attractive area. Room was rather small. The meal in the restaurant did not quite meet our expectations.
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, room was comfortable and sufficiently sized for my needs. The swimming pool looked good but I didn't use it. Very conveniently situated for the nearby sports centre.
Cons: There wasn't anything that I would have expected at the price that wasn't available. The only small issue was that the restaurant was closed, but central Cognac is only a short walk away with plenty of places to eat.
Pros: Close to the sport venue, and extremely friendly staff!
Cons: Location on the main road with traffic, lucky to have a room looking to the back of the building. A small refrigerator could have been nice.
Pros: Well responding to inquiries and friendly. Good management of thither facilities. Possible secured parking for motorbikes (on request). Easy reach from Cognac center. Quiet place and nice pool. Good wifi
Cons: Main road too noisy from room located on street side.
Located in Jarnac-Champagne, Hôtel Le Relais de Jarnac Champagne is in the historical district, within a 15-minute drive of Tonnellerie Allary and Le Château des Énigmes. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Situated near a lovely wood which was great to walk the dog. The pool looked nice although it was too late to use when we arrived, nice crisp white sheets.
Cons: We arrived at 8.00pm and the restaurant was closed so we couldn't eat and no snacks were available - it would have been nice if even a little sandwich was on offer after our long drive. We were told that we had arrived too late to find anything open nearby. The restaurant had to be booked in advance and the bar was closed too so that was all very disappointing.
Pros: Location was fine, in the middle of village, with good bar/restaurant opposite. Breakfast was adequate, but no staff in attendance
Cons: No staff actually on site
Pros: Fantastic. Excellent. Exceptional. Clean, lovely staff. Excellent food
Pros: A really good hotel with a friendly and helpful proprietor.
Pros: Beautiful village location. Very friendly owners. Great value. Stored my motorcycle in their garage! Great bar with fab food across road. It does not get any better than this. Superb, thank you!

Pros: The character of the former mill with surrounding garden convenient location to explore Cognac area.

Pros: Restaurant, however, was excellent, you wouldn't think it could be the same business.
Cons: The room and general condition of the hotel was extremely poor, decor was well beyond repair - shower room had three different layers of wallpaper all falling off. You wouldn't think you could open the doors to the public
