5.5 Okay
Pros: The room was furnitured very nice, with antique furnitures.
Cons: The chateau had a lot of good reviews, but seems like the owner changed last year. Check in time was 16:00, check out already at 10:00. We arrived about 1,5 hours earlier, the owner was not very friendly, when I asked to leave at least our luggage at the accomodation. When we left again, she came to our car and offered us to bring our suitcases to the chateau. The room was spacy, but very dirty, which is also true for the bathroom.

Cons: For the traveller it's a pain they don't make an evening meal, and when we arrived it looked as the whole of the town was shut so a hunger night for us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was a perfect size for a family and well priced for where it was. The pool was a great size and just right to refresh ourselves after being in the car all day. Breakfast was a little basic but enough to start the day with.
Cons: The staircase between the twin level family room was a little steep with an open bannister, but staff are aware of the issue and will assist if you feel uncomfortable with it.

Pros: Surprisingly cosy and quiet. Stayed for a night and had a nice restful evening. Breakfast is lovely.
Cons: Nothing.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good clean comfortable hotel, ideal stop over point en route to Spain travelling with dog.
Cons: No food at all, not even a bag of crisps and nothing nearby to get any decent food.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel is modern and well equipped. Breakfast was very welcome. First time in France offered scrambled eggs with bacon! Hooray! Seemed to be some conference delegates about and that maybe is more its style than romance. Modern and efficient (mostly) Staff helpful and very good.
Cons: 1. We struggled to find the place. It is fine when you find it, but rather lost in a new commercial area down a long 'right of way' drive. We could not see the hotel, the name sign or the street number in the poor light of winter, from the address road. The street number is not registered with Google maps or our new GPS. 2. It turned out that the operational name is not Qualys Hotel, but Le Grange Hotel We only found it because we asked in a store and they were kind enough to direct us. The web page does not adequately highlight the Title name or the location down the hill. We were very close to moving on to find another hotel and firing a big blast at Qualys. 3. The shower water was tepid at best. Guess the other guests used it all up. That was a new experience for us too. 4. We are experienced travelers in France and this was nearly a big disaster.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean comfortable and convenient (just off the A10). Pleasant and helpful staff.
Cons: No evening restaurant (taxi to town centre cost €34 return) Breakfast a little expensive for what was available €12 each).

Cons: All perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location just off the motorway. Really clean with friendly owners. Good breakfast with snack meals for lunch and dinner.
Cons: Having a proper restaurant would make this hotel ideal.

Pros: A lovely apartment in the centre of the city.
Cons: It would have been handy to have been able to get the details about the access to the property before we travelled, as there was difficulty in understanding the instructions on the day

Pros: The hostess was very friendly. Apartment in good location.

Pros: The welcome was wonderful. Breakfast was well suited to our family as was the size and space of the apartment. The town centre location was perfect and there was very convenient secure parking nearby.

Pros: Spacious apartment in an authentic French buildind in a quiet little street (no cars, we stayed during the night France won the world championship and we hardly heard some noise) in the centre near Hotel de Vile (townhall). Clean and comfortable and a friendly host. French breakfast with baguette, jam, yoghurt, fruit juice, coffee, tea, chocolate milk etc. included. Good value for the price.
Cons: The place was perfect. Only as a suggestion and not a complaint: maybe some fruit and/or cheese at breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good position
Cons: You have to go the wrong way down a one way street. There was no other way to get there.

Pros: We loved everything about the property! The grounds, the rooms full of character, the pool with a retractable roof, the five course dinner, the breakfast and the friendly owners. I’d probably say it’s my favourite, most luxurious and impressive break away yet.

Pros: Loved everything! The owners really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Pros: Everything! I adored this place. The chateau was bought by a Finnish Architect in 2011 and opened as a hotel 2 years ago. It is amazing. The attention to detail in the decor, the furnishings etc are absolutely of the period and I felt like a Princess for the one night we stayed there. The host is very nice chap and his wife is also a very pleasant lady. We were greeted on arrival with a fresh glass of orange juice, nicely chilled and then shown to our magnificent room with an adjoining bathroom. We were given a beautiful and sumptuous breakfast, fit for a King and Queen. It was served in the magnificent " Red Salon" exquisitely furnished. I have never had a candle-lit breakfast until I stayed here, the attention to detail to please their guests is second to none. I hope they succeed as a business, they really deserve it. I found fault with absolutely nothing.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The breakfast was wonderful. Everything was prepared especially for us and presented beautifully.

Pros: Great breakfast and easy to find hotel!
Cons: Connecting door to next room poor insulation against arguing French couple at night! Had to bang on door to shut them up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Our greeting was the best. Very helpful and entertaining. A great experience. Offered a discount voucher for a local steak house which too was a great place with great staff and extremely reasonable prices. On our return from eating we sat in the bar with a very good bottle of wine and had a laugh and joke with the managers. It was good to have the correct pronunciation to some of our French. In the morning we went in for a buffet breakfast which was very good and displayed invitingly.
Cons: The room was a little smaller than I would have liked.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean comfortable rooms
Cons: Black mold(?)in the shower.

Pros: Good location away from centre Friendly staff. Couldn’t do enough for you The manager allowed me to park my motorcycle in his garage at no cost Good Chinese buffet nearby as they don’t serve meals at the hotel. Basic but perfect for overnight stay Nice breakfast Good air conditioning Would definitely use again
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean and comfortable bed.
Cons: A very small room for two. The door to the bathroom slid across but didn't fit the frame properly.
5.5 Okay
Pros: We booked this hotel as a pit stop on a long drive down to the south of France, we’ve stayed here before doing the same journey, it’s ideally located just off the main road so only a 10 min diversion for setting off the next day. We booked for 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. It clearly said on the booking dog allowed as we’ve booked many times before with a dog. When we arrived at 8pm we were met by the owner and told no dog, I explained I’d booked with a dog and showed her the booking, she then claimed to speak no English and finally allowed us to have the dog in the room. We were charged an extra 6 euros the next morning for the dog which I know is not a lot but it’s the principle of it! I wouldn’t stay at this hotel for more than just a stop gap to the next destination, it’s not in a attractive location and it’s basic but if it’s to use as we did then it’s fine, it’s clean, close to the main roads to the major towns and reasonably priced. Just don’t book if you are taking a dog!
7.5 Good
Pros: The manager was very helpful and allowed me to store my motorbike in his garage.

Cons: I booked 2 twin beds but only one large bed was ready on our arrival. She made up a twin bed and gave us the large bed so we had 2 beds. The next morning instead of the charge for 2 beds that I booked, I was charged for using the large bed but was not told that beforehand.

Pros: Very friendly and informative. Room tastefully decorated and spacious.
Cons: Nothing as could not fault it.

Pros: The room and bed were just lovely, so comfortable, the breakfast was different every day and lovely local produce, Veronique was a wonderful hostess and could not have done more to make feel welcome and relaxed. We would thoroughly recommend, incredible value and a great experience in a beautiful setting!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hosts who had an excellent knowledge of the area and made helpful suggestions such as the best place to take a boat on the Marais Poitevin. Breakfasts varied each of our three mornings and included six varieties of homemade honey. The small kitchen shared with other guests was useful for tea and coffee making and the cooker and fridge freezer were also available. Although we didn't use it, there is a spacious room to sit in for playing games or reading which would be useful for families. Enjoyed visits to the abbey at Celles, the silver mines at Melle and the punt on the marais is a must. For eating out, there is more choice in Melle than Celles.
