Located in Cercy-la-Tour, Hotel du siecle features a bar. The property provides free private parking and free WiFi. At the hotel every room is equipped with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Moulins is 49 km from Hotel du siecle, while Nevers is 46 km away.
Pros: I was a bit worried because hotel Du Siecle is also a busy pub and located on a main street. This turned out for the best: the rooms are in a different building away from the street and are well insulated. So I was assured of a peaceful night. The hotel is nothing fancy, but more than adequate for the price. There is even a coffee and tea facility in the room. Within biking distance, there is a very nice restaurant beautifully situated at the canal, called 'Cote Jardin des Nivernais'.
Located in Cercy-la-Tour, Chez Casimir is within the region of The Mining Museum and Bibracte. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything to like! We spent three days at Chez Casimir and enjoyed every minute and hope to return. Our hosts Philippe and Jessica could not have been more welcoming, kind and generous. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. The house and facilities are all tasteful and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and the shower great. Breakfast featured excellent homemade jams. The village is also lovely and wonderfully peaceful. We are cyclists and enjoyed the many good scenic cycling options and Philippe was very helpful with advice. There was also a good and reasonably priced restaurant less than five minutes walk away. Chez Casimir has a very high score and this is more than justified. We also enjoyed one evening a table d'hote which was tasty and above all great fun.
Pros: Fabulous hosts in a beautiful property
Pros: Arrived as guests, left as friends. Phillipe and Jessica could not have been more welcoming. Their house is amazing and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast was fantastic We didn’t think things could get better on our cycle trip to Geneva but they did- thanks Excellent recommendation to local restaurant
Pros: Everything was super nice!
Pros: Very hospitable hosts, would highly recommend, exceeded any expectations
Pros: The Host and Hostess went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I would say this place is a hidden gem. It is a great place to get away from the city's hustle and bustle.

Pros: The ladies who looked after us were charming and hospitable. They cooked us a meal at short notice which was splendid. Breakfast was excellent and we left feeling happy with our stay. Secure bike storage was in a very large barn adjacent to the house .
Cons: A couple of better signs to the hotel on the main street would be nice.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic
Pros: An extremely friendly, family atmosphere with great food and wine.
Cons: Nothing to say here.
Pros: The location was perfect if you are travelling by bicycles as it is very close to the cycling route on the canal. The property is a sprawling old building with large rooms. There is plenty of seating in the garden at the back of the property and you can take a glass of wine and sit in the garden. We also booked to have dinner which was served on a long table in the garden and the hosts joined us and the other guests. A lovely evening with excellent fresh food and delicious dessert, all home made. Breakfast was adequate.
Cons: Not the property but the town. The main road runs right through the middle with massive trucks thundering through day and even in the middle of the night. Without air conditioning you need to have the windows open. The property is not on the main road, so reasonably good but we could hear some traffic noise. It would not stop us staying again.
Pros: I loved the smell of croissants cooking as I woke up in the morning, the friendliness of the family accommodation was relaxing and genuine. Alex (son of owner) was a great host.
Pros: Lovely food and great company
Pros: Friendly chambre d'hotes offering evening meal which was excellent and convivial.

Pros: Food, breakfast and location really good, hosts very nice! Bathroom modern with all comfort, room nice, but not too big.
Cons: The house was not really a "chateau"
Pros: Everything was amazing! We booked this trip in order to relax and heal, and it was just perfect. Therese and Evert Jan is fantastic hosts and their château was beautiful decorated. Every morning we sat for an amazing breakfast, which typically include homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, some kind of egg, homemade jams and fresh bread and croissants from the local bakery. We ended up eating at Therese and Evert Jan 4 times out of 6 night, because the food and the company of our hosts was more than we could dream of. Each night was a three course meal, and it was fingerlicking good! We spend a few days by the wonderful pool and Therese and Evert Jan made us nice lunches. There is a fridge filled with sodas, beers, wines and water and each room has a little scorecard, were we could mark what we have taken. This was perfekt for us! Therese also makes some very nice cocktails - I recommend the Peach Gin!
Cons: I can't think of something negative - perhaps only that we had to leave at some point ;-)
Pros: Our hosts could not have been more welcoming. The chateau is a perfect example of rural french culture. The bonus was the food, all home made produce including the wine.
Cons: There was nothing to spoil the stay
Pros: The hosts were extremely welcoming and went the extra mile. The food was excellent and the choice of wine was also really good. The pool was lovely and the room was perfect. Great location and can't wait to go back.
Cons: Nothing, it was superb
Pros: Lovely host, romantic old building and very nice breakfast. The room was spacious and double glazed windows blocked the road noise. Bathroom is modern and very clean. Breakfast at a large table took us a bit by a surprise but was a nice experience. Fresh croissants and home made jams were the highlight of the morning, shame no more apricot jam was available for sale.
Cons: It’s a trifle and isn’t really something to complain about as such. The room didn’t have a tv and the WiFi wasn’t reliable. It didn’t affect our stay in any way.
Pros: Friendly owners, quiet location surrounded by beautiful countryside, good home cooked food using their own produce when possible and great wine from the region.
Pros: The food was amazing and the swimming pool was fantastic.

Cons: Breakfast could have had more variety though the jams and yoghurt were very good.

Full of rustic charm in a very quiet location(rush hour traffic consists of 2 or 3 cars between 7:30 and 8:30. Joshi and Pim are so welcoming. You are treated as long lost friends. Nothing is too much trouble. We found the few last Km's difficult to navigate. Joshi volunteered to stand outside the property to ensure we did not miss it. As local restaurants were closed the evening we arrived Joshi offered to provide a simple meal. It was very welcome. Breakfasts were simple consisting of nearly all homemade ingredients with jams and yoghurt particularly scrummy. The countryside is beautiful and a great areas for hiking/walking.
Cons: Whilst we anticipated the remoteness you must be prepared for the degree of remoteness.

Do visit here for a warm, friendly, cosy, break in beautiful countryside where you will be looked after by a lovely couple running their family business
Cons: The room was very small and the bed very soft... but this is not a modern hotel chain, so perhaps to be expected. No hot drinks facility in bedroom.
Cons: perfect for cycling eurovel 6

Pros: This is a spacious property run by a friendly school-teacher. There is a garden that provides some produce for breakfast. Other fresh produce comes from her extended family. There was a locked garage for our cycles. The main road through the town is quite busy but this property is down a side-street and we were not disturbed by traffic noise.
Cons: The town is not as picturesque as some in the area. We were able to have a good dinner at the Hôtel de France, less than 10 minutes' walk away, but did not see other restaurants apart from a take-away pizzeria which is probably aimed at the passing lorry drivers.
Pros: Large comfortable bedroom and a common area with a kitchen. Pleasant garden to relax in after a day of cycling.
Pros: The Gite has been recently modernised and was in very good order. Canoe and boat hire are available as it is situated next to the river and is almost in the centre of Chatillon- en -Bazois. The breakfast was good sitting in a pleasant garden patio area.
