Very hospitable. The whole family was involved and very nice. Spectacular view over the whole city and beach from the balcony. It was a little bit difficult to find it and maybe "easy access" is not entirely applicable since you have to climb 150 steps to get there on foot.
B&B full, so were given an apartment in the old town. Much more convenient
Very nice staff and very good breakfast:) Room was not cleaned every day. Sheets were not changed only the bed was made. Bathroom very very small especially the shower cubicle.
free using internet via WiFi (wlan), big room. Free Parking. Great vue from balkon over Cefalu, see and mountain. Free use of kitchen.
common bathroom, 2 very different rooms with the same rate
Miko was very helpful & efficient
Very nice family and excellent breakfast.
nice breakfast, balcony with ok view. friendly people, drove us into town, train station. miles away by car from town centre and beaches up winding road up hill. walking took 20mins up and down stairs. needed better signposting, hard to find.
We stayed in a 3-bed room with a terrace having a magnificent view over the town and the sea. Short walking distance to restaurants in the old town and to the beach. Upslope and flight of stairs to the hotel. Kind and helpful personnel.
Good location and relatively inexpensive comparitively. If you like basic then this is the place for you. But bring your own towels!!! The scaffolding that no-one mentioned beforehand, the lack of fresh towels or bed linen, the lack of staff in general.
Clean and comfortable excellent view of the ocean from room Firstly the lack of staff plus the scaffolding which was not mentioned on booking also has three flights of steps with no elevator and very poor parking. We had to park all day on the beach front which cost a pretty penny then had to drag our cases from there to the hotel plus up all those steps. Quite a challenge as there was seven of us.
The room was very comfortable. Franco the owner was extremely helpful. The view was spectacular! The location was great. I would highly recommend. We stayed in six different places during our vacation through Southern Italy. This was our favorite and the least expensive.
Its location and the fridge in the room When we wanted to check in there was nobody at the hotel, we also had people banging on our door at 2 in the morning
The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful , the view from the terazza is spectacular and the breakfast served at the piazza del Doumo is very nice. It is a very relaxing place to stay
Location. Balconies back and front. Good staff.
Location in the historical town centre. A heavy smell, probbably from the the oil separator of the resturant down under, destroyed our first night. The personell denied any smell, but eventually agreed us to change room. Kitchen badly equipped. The so called breakfast was coffee and a sweet cake. It should not be allowed to be called B&B, since the last part was a joke. To expensive for its standards.
I would like to write my opinion in 3 language that more people can save themself from this ´hotel´ I liked nothing! Nic! Niente! The staff was very unfriendly and when I asked about help with my luggage he was very angry because he prefered to stay in the internet as always when I saw him.He never say hello to customers. The price was very high for such bad quality Bed and Breakfast it costed me the same as 4 stars hotel in Palermo which was very elegant and classy. The breakfast was in cafe in the main square but only a small cake!!!The room and bathroom was uncredibly small and dirty. They clean it only 1 time every 3 days!!!Incredible!!!I Had to use the same towel for 3 days! The computer for customer was broken so I couldn´t use internet! Da evitare! Do not go there! Omijac z daleka!!!
Great location, room very clean and staff very helpful always ready to help us! We will come back definitely
Scenery view, value for money and excellent staff
Clean, Airco, Garden 4 Loud dogs. Spartan breakfast. Almost impossible to find: Directions: When entering Cefalu, from motorway side, on your right, you see an arrow for San Biagio church, that's the SP136. Follow San Biagio signs, then when you reach the church, take a left, and continue until you see a sign for "finestre sul parco".
Realy nice welcoming people and spectacular views. It will be good if owners makes signs, because we had difficulties to find this eyerie.
It was very relaxed, beautiful outlook from the property. Wifi internet. Breakfast was forgetable.
it is very nice stay in cefalu but is far away from the downtown and there is no shuttles from the hotel and center the distance from the downtown
It is located in a beautiful place with a panoramic view.. The room is very nice and clean.. I liked very much the property with a 5 dogs and cats.. It is a lovely place, it is possible to feel like at home because of quietness and nature..
I enjoyed staying with a family in the town we were visiting. It is a little off the beaten path, so travelers have to be prepared to find it but we all enjoyed staying there.
Nice quiet couple maybe because they do not speak much English. The owner kept dogs (down the step in front of the nice garden bench in front of the house) which bark when they knew that you were around. Hence, it was not possible to sit there. The barking would also trigger the neighbourhood dogs to bark as well and it was not good when you get back late. Don't worry, the dogs do not bark all night long.
friendly staff, quiet
The view and the people that own it are very pleasant and helpful. the fact that it is a long way away from the beach and that there are no signs of how to find it, which can be very difficult if you arrive in the middle of the night.
The view from the shared kitchen/place they served breakfast was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very nice. The free wifi was also useful. The b&b is in a lovely quiet location in the mountains. The only thing I would point out is that the b&b does not have a pool as described on the booking.com website. Also you definitely need a car to access this b&b unless you're very keen on hill walking!
From Canada, on a 3 week November trip through Italy we chose this hotel as it was near seaside Cefalu which we enjoyed seeing. The B&B was very memorable for us after some challenges finding it on GPS and some trepidation about climing the winding uphill road to this quaint county destination. The views were spectacular way up above Cefalu. The Internet was free and worked fine in our room. The breakfast was lovely and carefully prepared to suit our needs by our accommodating host. Arrive during daylight and make sure you have a GPS and good maps to find the roadways that lead you up to this charming hilltop spot.
Beautiful but remote location. Old building in rural setting. B&B sends an e-mail with detailed instructions. No staff in location in the evening so make sure to announce late arrival.
Good location .Friendly staff .Clean.
I loved the location, the B&B is set on a high hill a few kilometers from Cefalu, and the view is really stunning, especially from the terrace. I liked the atmosphere, the house was very nice, the room was cozy, bed was comfortable, we had a little balcony facing the courtyard, the bathroom was charming. The hostess (a lovely french woman) was extremely kind and helpful. We loved having the cats, kittens and dog around, all were so well behaved and cuddly. It is a short drive to Cefalu, which has nice architecture and a nice beach. The nearby village was left unexplored by us, except the local pizzeria, which had good, cheap pizzas. We were allowed to eat on the terrace at the B&B, enjoying the view with a cold beer. Excellent! I liked everything, but I still think the price is too high. 90 euros per night is asking too much. It is nothing wrong with the place, it is very nice, but we traveled through Sicily and stayed in several "agriturismo" of similar standard, where we paid the same price for half-board, giving us a rich breakfast (Saponara had in comparison a somewhat mediocre breakfast) and four courses of home-cooked dinner. Still, I would definitely recommend the Saponara, because we did have a really good stay there.
