8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice agriturismo in the hills in Tuscany. Friendly staff, although a bit disorganised in the breakfast room. Breakfast could have been better, a bit more variety, but ok for Italian standards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts and the location are amazing, we loved our stay here and the food in the accommodation.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: What a gem! This place went beyond our expectations. From the start Francesco and Chiara were ever so welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. The place is so quiet and peaceful, perfect place for a relaxing holiday and close enough to drive to major cities without having to live in the hustle and bustle. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool area was so relaxing and we loved that we were so close to nature. Chiara and Francesco were both so hospitable and gave us loads of recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble for them. This is a place we would definitely return to.
Cons: The hotel lacks a restaurant which means that you have to go to nearby restaurants for lunch/dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Host, house, wine, pool, true Toscana experiance. Perfect place for real relax break and escape from the reality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant countryside location, quiet and beautiful setting for a restful stay between busier cities during our vacation. Building has been updated beautifully with very nice finishes throughout. Room was comfortable and spacious, with a garden view, side tables and reading lamps. Bathroom was roomier than most we had in Italy. Breakfast room was lovely and good options for breakfast. Host was friendly and gave us a room choice at check-in, showing us the options, which was very good since room I had booked online was less nice than one he offered, which was much nicer view and roomier.
Cons: Only problem we had was locating the property. The rental car gps got us close but we missed the small sign at end of driveway so had to ask around a bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is wonderful! There are a lot of nice places where you can sit, relax and have a glass of wine and just enjoy. The owner is so nice and friendly and she is allways there for you if you need anything. You can feel the owners effort and hospitality in every corner. Breakfast is very good and tasty :) I higly reccommend you to stay here.

Cons: A kettle in the room would have been nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Feels like home away from home From start till the end & the amazing host Simply the best
Cons: The only comment I have - the aircon in the bedroom wasn’t the best

Cons: Breakfast - small selection of food (no eggs, or ham). Small pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is ideal for nature lovers. There is a large olive tree garden - perfect for watching sunsets. The place is very quiet, peaceful. It was not a hotel, but home for us. The hosts Viola and Luca are very welcoming, pleasant, helpful and attentive, we loved to meet them and hear their story. Handmade breakfast was always delicious and made with care. The room was very clean and cool, as we had over 30 degrees outside each day. We would love to come back to this place when staying in Tuscany.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing, the hosts were very outgoing, helped us a lot, when we had issues with the car and car servise. Villa is gorgeous, view from the hill is beutifull. Real Tuscany spirit!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: When you like a silent and natural environment, this is a perfect location. The way to the nearby city is small but good indicated.
Cons: The room was a little dark but the environment was bright.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant and helpful hosts, and a nice location with a patio that has a vista over the valley, which was a nice place to sit with a glass of wine in the evenings. The pool is compact, but is quite deep and had very nice clean water with minimal added chemicals. We had it to ourselves quite often, and could sit in the water and admire the views!
Cons: The room was a bit warm at night, but a fan was a big help. We were looking forward to a Tuscan home cooked meal, but that was dependent on the other guests signing up for it as well. However, no shortage of nice eating alternatives in a short driving distance. My partner was looking forward to some sliced meat for breakfast; I liked the homemade jams that accompanied the toast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hospitable and helpful hosts, enviromentaly friedly. Villa authentic interiors and outdoor places: dining area and swimming pool with a breathtaking valley view, olive and fruit gardens to walk around. Homemade food served in the evenings, small kitchen to prepare own small meals with a fridge. Good location to drive to Florence, Pisa, La Spezia and so on, still far from big roads and cities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view is fantastic! Rooms are clean, breakfast is great and hosts are friendly and nice. Free parking, great pool with the view. We loved the place
Cons: the shower is not in the room(you have to cross the hallway and it's a bit uncomfortable)

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, cleanliness, air conditioning.
Cons: Bit noisy due to the restaurant.

Pros: Almost everything!
Cons: All was excellent! One thing - a restaurant is in the same building so if you'd like to go to sleep at 10pm, it could be difficult as the noise from the guests could be loud

8.0 Excellent
Pros: nice and comfortable rooms, mini soccer field for the boys, we have had a great time
Cons: the breakfast is close to minimalist to my point of view, we always get the feeling of disturbing when asking, staff is not really forthcoming so you end up feeling like you are not really welcome compared to the traditionnal Italian "Benvenutti" standard...

Pros: Loved the peace and quiet. Enjoyed big swimming pool and no problems with finding a sunbed.
Cons: The banging of the main gate in the evening time was not making my evenings very pleasant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was recently renovated and was looking great. The kitchen had all we need, incl washing machine.
Cons: A 2nd AC in the apartment's living room would have been good. There were dead insects in the pool. It is hard to keep a pool clean in summer, I understand, but the kids wouldn't go in the water because of the dead wasps and flies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big apartment, very clean Large poo all area is very pleasant and calm Staff is very nice and friendly 10 min from a great trattoria Courtesy breakfast provided
Cons: Nothing except we did not choose the breakfast (quite expensive 15 euros per person)

Lorenzo, Fabiana & Agata are very lovely hosts they welcome you as part of the family. After being directed to the house by Lorenzo (got a bit lost!) we enjoyed lovely wine as our intro. 9.5 Excellent
Pros: W went there with family - 2 kids - 1 and 7. We enjoyed the pool a lot. The location of the place is literally off the main road, which is not busy at all. Giuseppe, the manager, is a great guy- he helped me recover my lost luggage and called the airport. The convenience of having a bar very close by, few nice restaurants, etc is great. The town is one of our favs , this was our third visit.
Cons: We went there when a community festival was organised. From 29th July to 5th August it is not quiet time there. Unfortunately, this hotel is literally next door to the place where it was organised. No other issues.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Good facilities Beautiful location Clean rooms Pool + pizzeria Victoria (nextdoor) is highly recommended
Cons: Nothing!

The swimming pool on the roof level is a big plus especially during hot weather. Next to the residence there is a nice pizza restaurant. 30 meters away there is also a nice coffee bar La Toscana.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved going back to SAN Baronto, fifth time! It’s got everything we need and Giuseppe is an absolute rock! The room was large enough and though the view wasn’t fab it was ok . The apartment clean and comfortable. It’s a fantastic spot from which to visit Florence and with the new ‘Park & Ride at Villa Constanza , so simple . Drive to Pistoia, join the motorway A11 then A1 direction Roma, get off at Villa Constanza well sign posted. Tram ticket into Florence To Santa Maria Novella, (tram station ‘alamanni stazione’) 1.50 euros per person. Really easy 1hour in total. The air con which has been installed in Montefiore was a great bonus in temperatures up in the high 30’s.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: The matress was very used and unconfortable.Too soft.I did not have a good rest / sleep while on holiday.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, wonderful views, pool, playground for young children.
Cons: We missed a couch in the appartment
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was tremendous, thanks to the location and surrounding of Colle da Vinci - panoramic view, peace and quiet, spacious apartment and garden with all kinds of sitting areas and utilities, lovely swimming pool. The kitchen was well equipped. There are many places to visit and see nearby - one cannot decide whether to stay and relax in the garden or to take a trip around area. Hosts accepted our dog with no problems and were very friendly, looked after the garden and pool in a discreet way and made it look perfect. Thank You Isabel!
Cons: We could use some small bowls for yogurt, there weren't any, but this is just a detail. There are all in all 6 apartments in the building, so at times it may be, that one has to put up with the presence of other people near the pool, but they were all nice, and we did not interfere with each other. No, honestly I cannot say there is anything to complain about. I hope to visit Colle da Vinci again in future.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite location, in the middle of nowhere but close to many touristic highlights of the region, surrounded by nature, with romantic noice of cikades, very descent and styled rooms, beautiful garden and pool and many more .... but of the most with super friendly owners that really care for you and your comfort. They give suggestion for trips, where to go, where and what to eat, where to park, where to shop....
Cons: The equipment of the kitchen was very limited for real cooking and serving. However, you get everything if you ask.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Breakfast and a very good hospitallity
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet place with nice garden and pool. We were traveling with 2 kids and had the suite room which was very big, neat and well equipped. From there we visited Lucca, Certaldo, Collodi (Parco di Pinocchio) and Vinci. Would definitely recommend it as home base for a few days when visiting this part of Italy. Thanks Rosalba for hosting us!
Cons: The hosts have multiple dogs, they’re in the private area but do make some noise. It was not super disturbing for us but i can imagine some guests would be less in favour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most perfect host. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful nice decorated rooms We were hiking the Via Francigena, were tired and had no food. Rosanna invited us on the diner with here friends and served the most deliciuos meal ever.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What I like the most were the views, simply wonderful!! In the room we had everything to cook, a big fridge.... You can also eat outside, as every room has it’s own table outside. The toilet and everything was very clean. And it’s less than 5min walking from Leonardo Da Vinci’s house. Lorenzo was great, and very helpful !!
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Could have been asked if I wanted breakfast. No one came to the room to see if I was OK. Only one small window to poor room without a panoramic view. Uncomfortable mattress.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanless and friendly staff
Cons: Too soft mattresses
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful, great views. The apartments are comfortable and cozy. If you don't like to walk you need a car since there is not public transportation nearby and the town is 2.5 km away. We took a train to Empoli and then a bus to vinci. We walked back and forth from the agriturismo to vinci twice and the walk was nice, we enjoyed it. Leonardo da Vinci's birth place is within walking distance from the property. We enjoyed our stay although it got a little cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our week at Vinci. The owners have been really nice to us and our one year old from the start. They offered an alternative appartment to us for the same price which was better suited for our kid which we appreciate a lot. We also had breakfast nearly every morning and enjoyed the great service and the hospitality. We have even been provided with some home grown fruit, vegetables and eggs! Delicious! The appartment itself as well as the whole Agriturismo including pool, playground, surrounding vineyard and so on are really beautiful and in a great shape. Plus: the location is great. The view to the valley is awesome and the drive to the surrounding villages with good restaurants, like Vinci is quick.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great pool, everything you need in the kitchen, great views and location is very central.
Cons: We didn’t have a patio or terrace in our apartment, many apartments have both so maybe ask for one with a terrace/patio. The rooms are a lot darker than they look in the photos but good for keeping them cool at the same time.

Overview Reviews

9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a lovely place in the countryside outside of Vinci. The room was extremely comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was a highlight of my trip to Italy. Very friendly and very good!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were just wonderful, especially the ladies serving breakfast. As well, we (2 couples) were able to share a separated space that had 2 bedrooms and a lovely, well equipped kitchen! This wasn't expected, and was a great bonus, since we were able to make a dinner for ourselves. We enjoyed two dinners at the restaurant - super value for excellent quality food and wine.
Cons: We needed to walk down a very steep, partially gravelled path to get to the restaurants. More gravel or paving, as well as a handrail, would do much to improve its safety.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location set in its own vineyard and olive grove. Plenty of restaurants in surrounding villages. Rooms reasonably large and comfortable
Cons: Typical Italian breakfast with lots of sweet food and cakes
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are really good but the main reasons you should go here are the very warm welcome with coffee and a glass of wine and also the quality of the food. Bellissima!
Cons: That we had to leave after one night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the location, quite and comfortable
Cons: dinner was not really fine, w've got much better in Tuscany at Agriturismo places. BE AWARE : we didn't ask for the price in advance, had full confidence but only for the entry and the pasta they asked 20,- euro pp, without note of payment! This is overpriced compare to other places !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: owner and staff made everyone very welcome, excellent service
7.0 Good
Pros: the room was on another farm house and not in the one we see in the pictures / not near the huose we ate breakfast at
Cons: tell us before that we will be sleeping in another place
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent country side close to Vinci, The dinner at the restaurant appetizer was real good even though we were vegetarian and still did not have issues when it looks like their steak dishes were itt as the restaurant was full of outside guests who order them.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to stay with fabulous dining possibility.
Cons: The location is outside town and requires a bike or car to visit the center or the museum (but we knew this upfront)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, great food and wine! Helpful friendly staff
Cons: Two pillows would be nice, a very small point!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The building and grounds where beautiful and it was fabulous being able to explore the surrounding olive groves and grape vine fields
Cons: Food was not too bad. The breakfast fruit was wrinkled and old and unedible and was only changed on our last day. We also had a meal from the set menu which was good but not amazing for the price
6.3 Good
Pros: Outside Facilities and The room were gorgeous. Wine was good.
Cons: Breakfast and dinner were not very good. It is more of a facility catering to those having weddings and events and wine tasting than catering to people who are staying at their hotel.
6.8 Good
Pros: The estate was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the cooking class was exquisite.
Cons: we booked a suite in order to be able to enjoy a bottle of wine in the sitting area. unfortunately, lighting was a massive problem as the sitting area had one lamp with no lightbulb, the bedroom had two tiny lights. For an estate that makes wine and we were encouraged to drink their wine, we were provided with a corkscrew or any openers, basically, we could not find one! whilst there was a 24hour caretaker, there was no way to contact them... except the building we stayed in, everything else was locked up with no lights. It was ghostly! Especially for italy, it is really poor to serve luke warm pre-prepared filter coffee. this place needs to be operated more like a hotel management... especially, given its size.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is absolutely fabulous place with magical atmosphere and magnificent wine! We stayed is suite just for one night, had interesting wine testing, walked around the Villa - views are fantastic, real Tuscany. Friendly staff prepared super tasty dinner for us on request, even they don't have a regularly working restaurant and it was served for us in the wine cellar, where were only two of us, it was super romantic! In the morning breakfast was ready also on requested time, it was diverse and tasty. We had a great time, enjoyed every second of being there and will definitely come back!
Cons: Everything was perfect, really.

Pros: Borgo Piccaratico is a really nice estate. Very quiet, with a nice garden and landscape while being not too far from the city. We loved the swimming pool and we really recommend to ask Leonora to organise a wine tasting session!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, modern striking apartment, spacious for 4 people, airconditioned, plenty free secure parking, beautiful pool area, own large outside wooden table and sun umbrella, owners have their own winery and olive oil across the road, happy to offer you a tasting, and you will definitely want to buy a few bottles once you have tasted them! Eleonora the owner is helpful, friendly and accommodating. She is always prompt with correspondence.
Cons: The kitchen could do with a microwave. There is a lovely pool deck, and I think it is only fair to offer guests one bath towel and one swimming towel per person. Upon requesting the above, we were unexpectedly charged 5 euros extra per person per pool towel, which is not the norm at the other 3 accommodations we visited in Italy which also had pools.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice and beautiful apartment. The apartment is very large, clean and have great beds. Everything you need is there. Parking very close to your apartment. The host Elenora speaks good English and is very helpfull. See prepare for us a privat wine tasting in the winery. A perfect place to discover Firenze and the Chianti region.
Cons: Nothing.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: An amazing location, Donatella is lovely and helpful despite the slight language barrier. If you love dogs, there are 2 really friendly dogs! Great pool with views of the Tuscan hills, so relaxing. You definitely need to rent a car though...easy to drive to the outskirts of Florence and get the tram in for a day. Some of our favourite restaurants in the area were Pizzeria il Castaldo (amazing views), La Burra di Vinci and Borgo Allegro. Definitely a good idea to ring up and book a table. Overall, a real gem!
Cons: We stayed for 6 nights and our room was only cleaned once, toilet roll not replaced etc but rooms were v clean at the start. Breakfast is very basic, would be nice if there were some more fresh options available.

Pros: Very convenient location to visit the main attractions in Tuscany with ease of acceses to Florence, Sienna, San Gomignano, Arrezo or Chianti Region.
Cons: The rooms located at the first level had the entrance directly from the yard, so, if you are not very familiar living with cats and dogs, be carreful and ask for a room upstairs.

Pros: The room was clean and very adequate, and Maria Paola, our host, was very gracious. The town of Vinci is very small but nice, and we were there to see the place where Leonardo da Vici was born and baptized, and the three museums dedicated to showing his life and work. The area is beautiful and well worth a visit!
Cons: The room was small and needed a window to the street or the countryside... other than that, comfortable bed and all amenities.
