I went for a friend's wedding. Fantastic location, beautiful clean hotel, staff very friendly & helpful, great food.
Overall, I liked thehotel very much. breakfast
The Welcome. The immediate atmosphere. The high quality of interior design. The room. The staff. The inovative cuisine. We all loved it and will return. not applicable
very pleasant surroundings . staff helpful.restful and lovely location poor breakfast. cold 'hot' choice and synthetic fruit juices
Good location. Confortable and beautiful.
location,cleanliness,service,good restaurant,large quiet room
good restaurant.excellent service.helpful staff.
very nice hotel in a beautiful italian town on the countryside. On a business trip, it gives you energy for the day after staying in such a cosy place.
Beautiful old building - very elegant and gracious, with a walled garden entrance. Cappuccino machine at breakfast!
The most important aspect of this hotel is the friendly, almost 'family'-atmosphere you get from the owners. The kitchen is excellent. No effort is too much for th owners concerning service, information, help, ... Lovely place with great views, and the house is a really cosy, romantic place. Very near to the great Wineroutes in Toscany and a good basis for visits to Sienna, Orvieto, Perugia, ... We'll go back! The menu in the restaurant is a bit small if you stay for more than a week, as we did.
The setting was beautiful; the staff attentive, friendly and helpful. The pool could have been a bit cleaner and it was not heated. It was OK, however, just not quite as nice as the rest of the hotel.
We enjoyed the beautiful, secluded and relaxing/stylish environment of the Arco, with its pleasant pool and interior areas. Good local access to many places of real visitor interest. We were pleased to use the Arco restaurant two nights but the choice of food was ultimately a bit limited.
The grounds were beautiful, staff were very friendly and the restaurant was good. Again, I didn't like being misled about the availability of a pool. It was big factor in our choice and it was a big dissapointment. The website should clearly state the dates the pool is in service (after June 15th)
The staff was extremely accommodating and the facilities were gorgeous. The staff did everything to help us book cars, make spa appointments, and served us dinner even when the restaurants were closed for the day. Breakfast/coffee was very good as well. Although the internet was free, it was very spotty during the night time in the room and on the hotel grounds.
This hotel, which is part of a winery, is perfect spot to relax, enjoy the gorgeous scenery, have delicious dinners and wine, and just enjoy the surroundings. The owner, Guiseppe Olivi, and his staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, helpful and efficient. A perfect spot for a relaxing week-long stay. This was one of the very nicest hotel experiences in my entire life, and I have travelled to 80+ countries so far. My only comment is that the music CDs in the dining room and patio could be changed more often.
Lovely location, excellent food, beautiful room... We will be back!
Excellent food and wine at good value. Very relaxing and good base for exploring Tuscany. NA
Beautiful location. Staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Excellent facilities - rooms were very comfortable.Food was superb.
tranquillity no safe
Very helpful and attentive staff, not afraid to admit when they made a mistake. Great value for money a wonderful room with excellent service No
Very friendly staff. Verry convenient location.
The swimming-pool is wonderful, but all the rest was mediocre The service was not worth 4 stars
Small friendly atmosphere Bugs
The grounds were beautiful; rooms were lovely; the staff was extremely helpful. We wished we had more time to spend here.
Il Patriarca is a fine and elegant ancient Countryhouse. We loved the rooms and their classical style. The garden and its wood are delightfull. The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. Once we had dinner in the Gourmet-Restaurant and we were suprised to be the only guests there - especially because it was a fine dinner. Twice we ate in the Trattoria - that was o.k but nothing really to remember. To summarise it: a fine Hotel with decent prices - we wondered how they can survive. Il Patriarca has a fine Breakfast-Buffet, but unfortunately nobody's responsable to refill it. When you are an early bird that doesn't matter but when you are a longsleeper that is annoying.
staff, food, pool
location, size of the room and infinity pool
Great room. The Taverna was excellent for eating and modestly priced. Staff were all friendly and helpful
It is a lovely hotel in a quiet location close to a charming non touristy town. The pool and gardens are very attractive as are the bedrooms and public spaces. The breakfast was very ordinary and not good quality. The restaurant was effectively closed because it was being prepared for a wedding on the coming Saturday (we were there Monday and Tuesday). That was very disappointing.
Just 300 mt away from the city center makes this place a very relaxable one (in summer, the village has lots of people in the streets at night). Given it's nature, breakfast (the only meal that we've had at the hotel) could be improved, not only in variety but also in the nature of the products available (more natural/local products).
Family owned hotel. You can even order dinner that will be cooked and served especially for you! Our family with two older and two younger children spent around 90 EUR for dinner.
The Staff was very helpful.
Bedroom clean, staff friendly and (helpfully)spoke good English The room we stayed in(16) had a very small shower. I am of average build and if I stood in the shower I could not actually turn around or bend down. Make sure you don't drop the soap!!!
