The views over the garden. Sitting by log fire in the salon. Breakfast was fine but very expensive. Our room was small and up in the eaves and the bed was small too.
premises room was too small. restaurant far too expensive in terms of value for money
The breakfast was very expensive
Great views, rural location. Small room in the eaves. Breakfast was overpriced at 23 Euros for croissants and a selection of breads and tea/coffee
the staff were extremely attentive, the furnishings were sumptious and very good quality, A wonderful hotel.
This fairly new hotel is ideal for those touring the area. It is clean, well-run and has a good restaurant at reasonable prices. Because of the nature of the hotel (see above), it is functional and therefore would not appeal to those looking for atmosphere and character. The internet directions were not good and made the hotel difficult to find.
Although we had a lack of French language, the staff were very patient in ascertaining our requirements. For the price it was very well decorated and the guest areas spacious. Rooms are on the small side, but more than sufficient for a one night stay. The town of Segre was something of a disappointment. Although the hotel does have a restaurant, we had intended to have a meal in town, but although we walked all around found nothing that appealed to us.
Relaxing by the pool lovely big rooms in the chateau very peaceful
Small family owned chateaux and made to feel very welcome Felt the food and wine were slightly over-priced but then again felt we were paying for an experience
Basically the hospitality of the Manager
Ambience, hospitality, restfullness Expensive, but can see the costs associated with maintaining this amazing building, so good value for money.
This is a great hotel. We are pleased to have found it. Very French in style, welcoming and comfortable. Lovely breakfast and safe parking. Nothing to fault here.
Very clean and friendly
The friendliness and helpfulness of Madame was exemplorary. We enjoyed our stay very much and wished it had been longer.
My stay was for i night on my way to Anger's I the hotel was very comfortable and the gardens looked lovely and relaxing, hotel very easy to find and I would recommend it to family and friends if they were visiting the area.
Owners are very freindly and helpful, grounds are quite pleasant on a summers evening, and they have secure parking.
The hotel is in a convenient location and is easy to find. It has its own secure parking facilities and is within walking distance of a resteraunt and shops. There is minimal service, the room was pooly designed on a noisy road with no air conditioning and only one window which opened onto the noisy road. Breakfast was minimal and subject to an extra charge.
the room was pleasantly appointed, the location was good and the staff were welcoming. it was quiet and generally good value.
Very quiet environment: I could sleep very well. Comfortable room with bed with several soft pillows. Friendly staff. Free wireless internet connection. No proper room heating: cold by day and even colder by night. Only French tv channels. In my room the bathtub was embedded under an inclined ceiling: no way to stand to take a shower... Breakfast is a bit poor.
The staff were very good and very accomodating as I arrived very late they phoned to say they had left my room unlocked and to let me know the room number. It is also in an area where there are few reasonably priced hotels so it was good to find a reasonable one My room was very clean but the bathroom was nevertheless still a bit smelly .I found the website not particularly helpful
Basic travellers hotel,. You get what you expect, clean and comfortable Reception was closed between 12.30 and 5.30
Was a very unique and quaint B&B. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The pool was great for the kids and you can also get massages there. It's a house so the rooms are not very soundproof.
Owners tried to be helpful. Poor value for money.
