Room was quite nice Breakfast was poor
Very comfortable, excellent bed/linen. Good breakfast. For us it does what we need , a good rest before either travelling either N or S It was hot therefore 'air conditioning' would be useful.
Staff friendly and accommodating, location ideal for our business activity, food and drink great value
The evening meal was surprisingly good, although a bit pricey. The hotel site was difficult to find, we had the benefit of sat nav fortunately.
the room was very clean and beds comfortable and the family room had a good sized clean shower room The food at the restaurant was not of a good standard. I would advise other guests eat prior to arriving at the establishment. The waitress who served us, was also unattentive, she had the be asked 4 times to bring glasses of water for the children. The food when it did arrive was not the same as the description on the menu and the waitress was not prepared to help us out using english even though we tried out best with the french language. Do not order the sausages ever !
Easy to reach by road, comfortable bed, clean, on-site paring. Good for 1 night overnight stay. Breakfast, cold buffet, quite expensive for English visitors (9 euros = £8)
Good size room, very comfy bed, also had kettle, tea, coffee & biscuits. Easy to find, ideal as a stop over.
As we were returning from a holiday in Frejus this was a stop-over on the way to Zeebruger. We enjoyed our meals very much and the staff were friendly and efficent. we have stayed in Campanile hotels in previous years and always found them clean and confortable and would not hesitate to book in one at some future date.
The room was clean and comfortable, of a reasonable size, and the decor good. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was easy to find, and conveniently located, as a base for a short holiday break in that region. Adequate car parking was adjacent to the rooms. Though the female receptionist on duty when we arrived spoke no English, this was not too much of a problem, and the male receptionist on duty the following day spoke good English, and was friendly and helpful. We should be happy to stay there again, if visiting that area. The dinner menu choice was somewhat limited, and overpriced, and compared rather unfavourably with our local restaurants back home in England, in terms of meal quality, and value for money. The continental breakfast, in terms of what was provided was adequate, and in line with expectations, but was rather overpriced. I have to acknowledge that the low value of the British pound against the euro, was also a factor when considering value for money for the meals, and room.
A fabulous location. Helpful and meticulous staff who were attentive to my less than adequate French and tried especially hard to accommodate me. The hotel restaurant was better than most of the local eateries too. They have odd hours. The hotel was closed and locked on Friday evening when I returned. If I had better French skills I would have known this. However the staff had left me a note translated into English explaining how to 'get in'. And the manager followed up to make sure all was well. I was quite impressed.
Friendly staff. Closed early, no bar facility open
Excellent staff, especially in view of the lack of electricity in the morning. Food not as good as advised on website.
Good evening meal Hotel was closed until 6pm - it would have been helpful to have known this in advance.
although late due to delays on Eurostar we managed to gain access at 10.50. we were very grateful since there was no alternative for 6 double rooms. The beer was fantastic! The restaurant looked very good. We tried to communicate in what we considered to be passable French to explain our delay and annoyingly the girl on reception could not understand anything. The owner in the morning had good English and was very friendly.
The twin room was very pleasant and the beds were comfortable. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The food was well prepared. St Dizier is a small provincial town and a ten minute walk from the hotel brings you to its centre. Free parking is available opposite the hotel.
Well situated a short walk from the historic town centre. Efficient restaurant and good breakfast.
Staff seemed friendly, car park handy across the road, beds comfortable, en-suite clean and tidy, restaurant meal quite good. Room rather small for twin beds and a wardrobe but it's good they provide twin bedded rooms. We could have done without the wardrobe.
Very good position near town/station/main road. Staff very corteous. Breakfast simple but good. Parking across road. Liked the canal walk nearby. Visited relatives in Vavincourt and saw Lac du Der plus various Abbeys incl.Trois Fontaine. Very small room esp. bathroom but Ok for 2 of us.
Cheap & cheerful Impersonal, no character.
Good price, new hotel, clean, friendly staff, quiet, comfortable, nice shower and facilities, good breakfast Can be difficult to check in--limited hours with no one available.
Clean room, basic facilities, reasonably quiet during the night. Breakfast room part of reception and too small to accommodate a party of travellers
Very friendly staff, value for money dinner, secure parking, free wi-fi.
We had a friendly and helpful welcome, and the buffet breakfast was good. They have made an effort to individually style the rooms, albeit on a tight budget. Rooms are in an annexe of slightly questionable security (front door left unlocked). One of our two ground floor rooms was at the front and a bit noisy. Beds a bit firm, even for France.
Very reasonably priced place - both room and food. Room recently refitted and very comfortable and warm. Staff very helpful and friendly.
nice & great rooms for a nice & small price
Clean and everything worked. Secure accomodation for my motorcycle. Nothing
Very traditional, old world French. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not a "plastic Eurohotel" - the very opposite.
Clean, simple, cheap Nothing
Modern bedrooms with good showers. Very reasonable price and good food. The downstairs reception and dining room was rather tatty, but charming in a faded French way !
Staff extremely friendly food outstanding,a most enjoyable stay Nothing
The rooms were comfortable and and very good value. The breakfast was rather disappointing - perfectly adequate but fresh croissants would have been nice - still overall good value.
