Pros: Wonderful character, decor and feel. Quiet with beautiful gardens. Lots of space to relax in. Very welcoming and helpful. We’ll be back!
Pros: Impressive and unusual barn conversion with a baronial feel. Vdry warm welcome. Fantastic continental breakfast with home-made produce.
Cons: Very little, but rea.r access to rooms in tower was difficult in the dark
Pros: A beautiful old house with lovely grounds and pool. Off the beaten track but a quiet location in easy distance of local village and excellent restaurant. Great breakfast and charming host, just ideal for our needs.
Cons: Nothing - no complaints at all.
Pros: The property has been lovingly restored in a medieval fashion with lots of attention to detail making it a really unique place to stay . Our bedroom was beautiful, very comfortable and quiet. There is a living area above the bedroom with a basic kitchen (microwave), lots of books toys and games. It was nice to sit there with a glass of wine in the evening as it was too cold to sit in the garden in April. Our hostess was extremely kind and helpful and prepared breakfast using many local products.
Cons: We really loved our stay and the only small fault we could find was the delicious coffee at breakfast needed to be a bit hotter. Maybe a thermos jug would help to keep it hot.

Pros: The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The accommodation is very comfortable, with large rooms full of character. Our room had the added bonus of a separate shower room and WC. The chateau has large grounds, a swimming pool, relaxation area . The hosts are charming and helpful. Hopefully, we shall return.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: It’s a wonderful, peaceful place and you are met by the friendliest, most unobtrusive welcome possible. A great escape from the world, and the food is really special too - can’t fault it!
Pros: An authentic old world charm. Characterful. Use of a large and comfortable garden room, and how 'free range' we were allowed to be around the property.
Cons: Daily cleaning of bedrooms.. Some facilities rather old eg bikes , bathrooms
Pros: Beautiful chateau in a beautiful location. The chateau is located in deep countryside and steeped in history. The bedrooms are spacious, filled with lots of charming features. The hosts are very warm, welcoming and helpful, they can’t do enough for you offering lovely breakfast prepared at a time to suit you.
Cons: I struggled with the intermittent WiFi but this is because I had to work during my stay and is a common problem in the area. For emails/ social media during a leisure stay I’m sure it would suffice. Just a look out if you’re staying on a Monday... nothing is open, no cafes, restaurants etc. It’s genuinely a ghost town so make arrangements in advance for your meal even if it’s stocking up at the supermarket earlier in the day. The hosts are so nice I’m sure they’d allow you to prepare basics. It mat not be so quiet in high season however.
Pros: This is a family home in the wilds and i mean wilds, could not find it, was eventually taken to it by very helpful man in his car’ no evening meals so went out to nice town to eat, got totally lost trying to get back, made it eventually, did the same thing the next night but in the dark this time had visions of sleeping in the car, The owners are very nice people and we enjoyed the tranquility of the place, if you want to get away from it all, this is the pla,
Cons: Sogning must be improved to save anxious times, we would go back ( if we could find it) Really liked the owners, nice friendly and helpful peaple,
Pros: Very comfortable in an authentic environment. Lovely and complete breakfast. Friendly owners and we could make use of the kitchen and garden.
Cons: Was free wifi but reception in room was very poor.
Pros: Palatial room. Great breakfast. Relaxed and informal yet Grande. Lovely welcome. Lovely outdoor space. Would return. Would recommend
Pros: This is the most beautiful ancient farmhouse style Chateau set in magnificent rural surroundings. The proprietors are charming and made us so welcome. They provided an excellent supper with wine and wholesome breakfast too. Our Medieval style bedroom with giant chimney piece was the star room in our whole 3 weeks stay at several properties in France.
Cons: Nothing not to like at Chateau de Boiscoursier. If I must ... a few more clear roadside signs on the way to this quite remote rural property would help the usually inadequate GPS system but once there, a heavenly experience ..
Pros: Superb in every way

Pros: We had a 10 hour drive behind us, and arrived around 2 oclock in the afternoon. They were flexible in making the rooms ready, so our doughter (2 years old) could sleep. She even made us a lovely dinner. It was a really pleasant and comfortable stay.
Pros: Lovely country location with all the home comforts .... good for single travellers, couples or family ..... Strongly recommend
Cons: No dislikes except leaving ...
Pros: Location rural setting, nice strolls, good breakfast, flexibility of hostess,
Cons: all was fine
Pros: Pretty place, well decorated, a nice room and convenient bathroom (that one might have to share if there is someone else in the other room). Very friendly people (talkative, though they leave you enough privacy) and cute dogs. Nice with my pet dog. Good breakfast. Possibilities for nice walks in the immediate surroundings.
Cons: I would have liked a more substantial dinner (it looked like 3 leftovers served together: a small part of lasagne, a plate of green peas, a plate of fries and a small dessert). But the wine was good.
Pros: We were made to feel very welcome with our dog, who even got his own cushion to sleep on and was able to run free in the small front garden. Facilities could not be faulted, very comfortable bed. It was lovely to arrive after a long drive, order an evening meal and relax outside in the sunshine. Breakfast is served in the room or outside on a trolley so a very relaxed start to the day. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Pros: A very friendly welcome from our hosts. Lovely clean comfortable rooms with everything you could need. Delicious homemade dinner and wine too. Breakfast outside the following morning was delightful!

Cons: The bathroom is quite small but very tidy.
Pros: Amazing find. A truly wonderful stay with a warm welcome to start we enjoyed this gorgeous Farmhouse so much. The rooms were incredible, ornate furnishing and a real French style. Breakfast was great.
Cons: We would have loved to have stayed longer.
Pros: We arrived later than their closing time but still welcomed with warmth and friendliness, concerned for our delay. We left early the next morning immediately after a very pleasant breakfast.
Cons: Had a slight problem with plumbing in our bathroom - but these things happen. We reported it and they were very apologetic for the inconvenience. So no big deal.
Pros: Exceptional room, and hostess was very helpful and friendly. It was peaceful and beautiful.
Cons: It's a bit out of the way!
Pros: We loved all its original design and how the owners had kept as much as they could Rooms were very spacious as we are a family of 5
Pros: A room of character in a lovely old building, with modern facilities. Delightful peaceful location, and a good breakfast. Very reasonably priced.
