Pros: Beautiful 1800’s home. Renovated like new. Most wonderfull hosters, simpaty, kindness, warm welcome. Great warm shower. 100% Satisfied.
Cons: The village does not offer late knight restaurants.
Pros: Lovely hosts, made an early breakfast for us which was lovely. Amazing house, in a very quiet town.
Cons: No restaurants in town were open
Pros: The charming and peaceful house and the very nice people who owned the house. The surrounding town/village was not big which might be a negative to some people but for us it was what we were looking for.
With a stay at Chambres d'hôtes le Peyroux in Montcel, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park and Plage du Gour de Tazenat. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hostess was friendly, charming, generous and helpful in every respect. The property was charming and quiet, ideal for a short stopover, and reasonably close to the auto.
Pros: Everything. A warm welcome. Comfortable bed. Peaceful stay.
Cons: No kettle
Pros: Wonderful host - very welcoming. When we mentioned we had brought a picnic supper (which turned out to be a good thing as apparently not many restaurants open on a Monday night) our host laid a tablecloth on the patio table for us. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of meat, cheese, fruit and cake as well as bread and Home made jam (our host even gave us some of her delicious chocolate and courgette cake to take away) and our host sat and chatted with us giving me a chance to practice my French. Room was charming and very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing - loved it and would definitely stay again.
Pros: The host is super nice and welcomed us warmly in her beautifully decorated house. The breakfast was delicious. This bed and breakfast is ideally situated in a small village near the motorway and a town with a supermarket.
Pros: Very kind and helpful host. Excellent breakfast, Lovely room. Great place.
Pros: Lovley host

Pros: The location by the motorway services was very convenient as we were using it to break our journey. The restuarant was limited in choice but very good quality. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The rooms were quite even though we were close to the motorway. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was little to be negative about our stay. Especially when you consider the price and location. Being wet and cold there was not a lot to do although the patio area looks as if it would be good during summer months.
Pros: Nice location overlooking the Auvergne
Cons: Not much choice at breakfast and the coffee was rubbish.
Cons: Worn out and dirty carpet, dated, scratched and old decor, the bed had crater shape, my partner and I kept falling to the middle. Also my girlfriend is allergic to dust and the moment we went into the room her nose started to itch and started sneezing like crazy. The best one yet, booking says they speak English but that lady refused to communicate in English, had to get google translate out and butcher some French.
Pros: Good hotel for one night stop. Close to big roads. Good brakfast. But the interior has seen its days.
Cons: once again, for my 3rd visit, no wifi available
Pros: Good location on services
Cons: Bit dated
Pros: Convenient, close to other amenities. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: It all looked a little tired!!
Pros: Despite the above comments, the staff were helpful and the meal we had was extremely good.
Cons: Although the view from the room was good and the surrounding countryside is spectacular, the hotel is right next to a motorway service area! It appears to be a little rundown and the grounds are unkempt. Also, there was no wifi.
