The Inn opened in 1820 and is currently registered as a Virginia historic landmark. Stay in a comfortable and serene slice of history. At one corner is a 2300 acre preserve in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Meander among the wild flower gardens, swing under a giant oak or simply sit on the hill and enjoy magnificent panoramic mountain views. Separate from the main building, the Summer Kitchen cottage offers guests that honeymoon-like escape. The cottage was originally the summer kitchen for the Inn and has been restored to a quaint two room guest house. The Inn is located next to Charlottesville's Tasting Triangle: Pippin Hill Vineyard, Loving Cup Organic Vineyard and Albemarle Ciderworks. We are just 10-15 minutes to UVA, Monticello and the Brewridge Trail.
