Pros: Paul and Sarah were very friendly, and recommended some great places to visit and eat. Our room was lovely and clean. And the property and surrounding area was beautiful.
Pros: Paul and Sarah are very kind and friendly. Our bedroom was cozy and the bathroom was huge. The breakfast was perfect. This is a place I'd love to go to again
Pros: The pool, the rooms, the bathroom is spacious and clean the attention to details Yummy breakfast (the smell of the bread baked by Paul is so refreshing in the morning) Great place to disconnect and enjoy nature
Pros: The friendliness of the couple.
Pros: The garden and the swimming pool were amazing. The breakfast served close by the pool was also incredible because of the food (including homemade bread and jam) but also because of the surroundings. The rustic and romantic decorations in the room and the spacious bathroom. The room has a kettle for preparing tea and coffee and also a fridge is available in the common areas. The owners Sarah&Paul were really nice.
Cons: WiFi was a bit slow
Pros: The hosts, Sarah and Paul, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The breakfast each morning was superb and, as with the whole property, was in a beautiful setting. The hosts were always accommodating and offered their knowledge of the area by suggesting places to visit for drinks, lunch and dinner and even provided the essentials for some shop bought picnic items to enjoy in the courtyard area. We were even given a lift to the wedding we were attending down the road. Could not recommend this place more.
Pros: Calm and serene location. Friendly & welcoming hosts. Gave us all the tips needed about the places to visit and the best restaurants in the area. Thank you!
Cons: Nothing that we did not like. It was all as per our expectation and better. One thing that can be further enriched is the breakfast, but then again, it is all part of the B@B experience. Thank you.
Pros: Lovely property, beautiful house and Gites, extremely clean, with everything you required for a comfortable stay, plus a fabulous swimming pool! The breakfast was delicious, freshly home made bread and jam, perfect! Our host Paul and Sarah, were charming and attentive. The area surrounding is very beautiful and perfect for road cycling and mountain biking.
Cons: There was nothing negative about this lovely place
Pros: Very nice location and the property is very attractive. Room was spacious and the en-suite bathroom very large. Breakfast was good and sitting outside made it that much more relaxing
Cons: Our hosts were not always welcoming and seemed irritated by our presence. The numerous notices that there was a charge of €20 per hour stayed after 10:00 am was not personable; this isn’t a 200 room hotel and if, as hosts, you don’t have the capacity to communicate directly with your guests it sort of spoils things.
Pros: Lovely self contained appartment. Very private and peaceful.
Pros: Breakfast was nicely laid out with home made jams and good yogurt. There is a large attractive shower cubicle and, a well equipped kitchenette. Our room was a good size.
Cons: The bed sinks in the middle. Could you buy a modern bed? Could you give the outside a sweep and a tidy? It would look more inviting and welcoming.?
Pros: Absolute lovely had a fabulous time
Pros: Great location set in lovely countryside by the river and the town is a 15 minute walk. The owners Chris and Lucy are very friendly, helpful and even gave us a lift to the train station 15km away when we left. The property is lovely. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Fully equipped, cozy and comfortable. Outside there is a pool, loads of outside seating and games for children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Its originality. One room is in the old mill house, with original features, and the other part is new and has a really interesting little kitchen with the loveliest of cupboard doors. If you want old-style French country family living, then this is the place to stay. Breakfast is prepared for you by the host, who is charming and doing a great job with the renovations.
Cons: Nothing. Once you realize how old it is, any minor "faults" become characteristics of its personality!
Pros: Loved this whole place very clean and large finished to a high spec. Complimentary homemade juices. Thank you very much we will be returning next year
Cons: Nothing only that we could of stayed longer
Pros: The shower was great and there was a little kitchen which meant I could make coffee and tea as all the restaurants nearby, as it was winter, was closed
Pros: This was a lovely, friendly stopover for us on a long journey south. We were in a comfortable suite in an extension to the property, which felt like a family home. We enjoyed a great home cooked dinner and beer in the garden, and a nice breakfast of fruit, pastries, bread and jam and yoghurt. It was a peaceful place, in fitting with the quiet and unspoilt river landscape. My favourite part was borrowing the B&B's kayaks, carrying them a short way to the river Vienne and taking a trip up the river. We saw a kingfisher and loads of little frogs.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was as we expected. The owners were more than helpful.A lovely experience with lovely helpful hosts.
Pros: It was just fantastic immaculately clean and the owner vicky could not do enough to help . Will be stopping here again one of the best places I have stayed once again thank you
Pros: We loved the location & the premises. The hospitality in preparing the gite for our stay was very good.
Cons: There was nothing about our stay that we did not like............Except leaving. We will return soon !
Pros: Lovely comfortable bed with good linen, slept very well. The log burner had been lit so it felt really warm & welcoming when we arrived. Table had been laid for breakfast with milk, jam, butter, cereal and bread provided. Great bathroom and lovely shower.
Cons: Every thing plus we had secure parking.
Pros: Amazing location and the owners were so incredible we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Pros: The location was really good and easy to find, and right in the heart of the village. The hosts were very friendly. The family room was like a Gîte, and had everything you would have wanted.
Cons: I had to pay an extra supplement for adding my partner to my booking, which was understandable. But I didn’t expect to have to pay another €15, especially when we also agreed to go out in the morning to buy our own bread and croissants, to go with our breakfast? The breakfast was included in the booking, so I understand the owners of the property asking an extra supplement for the extra breakfast, and maybe a supplement for extra occupancy. But I was surprised when I was asked for the extra amount I got charged.
