Pros: The experience of staying at a chateau.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are delightful.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historic chateau located in Rully village on a hilltop overlooking wine country and right on the Route de Grand Crus. Elegant spacious rooms with idyllic views of wine country, village, and private park. Hotel owners were multi-lingual, friendly, helpful, and super knowledgeable about wine and nearby attractions. Breakfast was great, as was the wine bar. Wine tasting with Matthieu was so worth it and an amazing way to learn about wines of the region. This place is a serious hidden gem in the heart of Burgundy. Would highly recommend it!
Cons: While we loved our room and it had all the necessities (lux bed, flatscreen tv, WiFi, towel heater, good shower and bath products, there were some amenities you’d expect at a 4 star hotel that were missing (bathrobes, coffee in room, snack bar, fridge, etc.) Not a deal breaker by any means though. I give this hotel a 5-star review.

4.6 Okay
Pros: The hotel could accommodate our family dog. There was secure onsite parking. The staff were helpful. The hotel was clean. The hotel was located in a quiet area.
Cons: The hotel’s decor, furniture and facilities were dated and tired looking. The bathroom facilities were also in need of updating. The water pressure in the shower was poor. The hotel corridor was dark and musty smelling. The cost of the room was €250 for one night and was not was in no way value for money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The building is incredible. The owners and staff were excellent.
Cons: The air conditioning in the room didn’t appear to function and unfortunately there wasn’t any toilet roll provided initially. The toilet roll issue was very quickly remedied by the staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, good beds, quiet, nice ambiance, breakfast buffet. We will definitely return.
Cons: After our reservation we received a mail that the pool would be temporarily closed during our visit. It turned out te be a very nice pool. We hope it'll be open next time!

Pros: Staff most helpful Room very comfortable Food and wine excellent.Hotel locacted in lovely surroundings
Cons: No complaints
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel was in the centre of the village and the staff were helpful and friendly
Cons: We stayed in the junior suite which was quite dated and needed modernising. The restaurant was expensive and the food catered to a specialised palate with escargots, foie gras and sweetbreads on the menu.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The food as ever was excellent. The service was attentive but not too much. The menu choice was sufficiently varied to suit all members of our party. The breakfast buffet food choice was exceptional - one of the best we have had. The parking is also private and secure. The room was spacious and comfortable
Cons: On the room front soundproofing from the corridor could be improved, but that was more for the day than at night as i think we went to bed later than the others
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Dinner in this place is absolutely superb! One star Michelin with excellent value for money dinner. We had a 5 course menu for euro 69,- pp. Tastes very exquisite and subtle; chef and crew are stunning professionals. Wine list endless. We choose a very nice bottle of white Pouligny Montrachet and a Bougeot red. Top! Personel very hospital and kind. To Hotel Montrachet: keep up your excellent work!
Cons: Rooms are okay but standard, price therefor relatively high

7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient stop along the way. Free and easy parking.
Cons: Breakfast cold have been a bit more substantial
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A great stop over hotel close to the motorway. Chagny is a lovely village but the hotel is on the outskirts a good 10 - 15 walk away. Good free parking. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a good size with excellent air con
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's stated aim was for the general ambiance to be 'home from home' and they succeeded in the best way. They were friendly but not over familiar. The room was very comfortable.. Our preferences for drinks were remembered..The menu du jour was exceptionally good value.
Cons: Whilst the food was fresh and tasty, presentation could be improved. An all white salad compose tasted good but didn't look it; poached chicken with a white cheese sauce served with white rice and only a few green beans tasted good but didn't look appealing. The presentation of fruits at breakfast needed improvement for similar reasons. These are minor details but could easily be addressed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel in Chagny and within easy reach of all the main wine areas.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. RV/bus/truck parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Julie Leflaive and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially Julie and her Sommelier.
Cons: My husband had difficulty getting out of the bath in our room!! Very slippery. Thought the food was pretty average. Enjoyed the 9 wines that went with it. I know food can’t be too spicy and chef had to pair with the wines but found it very bland.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at this hotel on my way home from the south of France having eaten in Michelin 1 star restaurants during the previous week. The food here surpassed all the previous meals I had enjoyed on my trip, in taste, presentation and price. The location of the hotel was perfect in the centre of this quiet village in the midst of the vineyards of Burgundy. The room was wonderfully appointed, quiet and comfortable. Parking was easy in the square outside the hotel. It was particularly appreciated that Mr. Patrick Leflaive met all the guests each evening during dinner. The sommelier was knowledgeable and most pleasant taking time to explain each of the wines during the tasting dinner. The cellar tour was well worth the money.
Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect for me and I look forward to returning to this wonderful place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our rooms. The sommelier Katerzina (sp) was most helpful when we arrived on Sunday. We were looking for wine for my daughters wedding in Morzine and believe we decided on one. We will order in 2020. We very much enjoyed the wine tasting and lunch which was delicious. The cellar and vineyard tours were good as well
Cons: The vineyard tour got a little in depth of information and length. Also was a warm day. The cellar tour was a little long too. Both were great information though. It is obvious both tour presenters love their work.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, and of course, so was the wine. Breakfast was excellent too.
Cons: We had the set menu with the 9 wines. The food was 'ok', but not up to the standard we'd expected, nor close to the quality of the rest of the experience (the room, and the wine). The salmon starter was good, but the guineafowl was bland, and whilst we ate the whole dinner, we both went away hungry!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Excellent restaurant on site. Pool and Spa area. Close to autoroute for overnight stay.
Cons: Room was quite small
7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the location as it was easy to find for a one night. We wanted something nicer than the usual motel where we could stay and have a nice meal with our dog who was travelling with us. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Gardens were good for the dog.
Cons: Restaurant menu choice was very limited. I don’t eat fish and there were no starters I could eat, unusual so far from the sea. Room quite small and basic for the price, really no better than their €35 to €40 stopovers we use.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff and breakfast. Decent rooms
Cons: Room and bath ok, but certainly overpriced. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Had to drive a lot to find an open restaurant. Fitness/spa opening times too restricted for business travellers (I didn't even see the facilities!) Nearby access to cycling route signalled on google maps actually interrupts in the woods, so I couldn't reach the cycling route for my morning run (not the hotel's fault, of course, but just to say the location doesn't offer any possibility)
7.5 Good
Pros: Indoor swimming pool, reception very welcoming and helpfull, room clean (although a little small but good enough for one night), very good beds.
Cons: Restaurant heavily overcharged seeing quality/quantity. Cannot recomment.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: warm welcome feeling when we arrived after a very long drive, we've room upgraded and it is very clean and large bed.
Cons: coffee by BF was min point
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was clean and has a Tesla charge. Food but not restaurant.
Cons: Disappointed as its expensive and I thought it was a small independent hotel and not a sales traveller motel.
6.0 Good
Pros: The reception changed our room upon request, which was good service. The beds are comfortably soft (in the second room).
Cons: The room we were assigned to, was by no means in line with the photos on booking, nor with the expected standards of a 3-star spa hotel. We could relocate to another room, which was next to the spa area causing a sleepless night due to the water refreshing (?) of the pool during the night. If you just stay for a stop-over, there are plenty other alternatives nearby. In fairness, we did not try the pool or breakfast, so cannot comment on that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa facilities are excellent and included in the price or there was always the option of the outdoor pool in good weather. The small private patio outside with the superior room option offered a quiet respite after a long journey too. The restaurant was very comfortable either outside by the pool or indoors and had excellent food and service. The room, the staff and the location were all top notch. This is still our number one stopover hotel in France.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly modern hotel. The well run restaurant was busy and the food was to my liking.
Cons: Nothing to dislike except the room had a separate bathroom and toilet. Not a bad thing but no basin in the toilet to wash your hands.

Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful accomodation and beautiful place! Excellent hosts! And delicious dinner and breakfast. Hosts communicated with us before arrival - booked us a restaurant and also prepared a dinner. It was really great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Within minutes of arriving you start to feel relaxed, being offered tea, coffee or cold drinks. The rooms are scrupulously clean, well appointed, & 2 sinks in the bathroom is an unexpected bonus. Breakfast is delightful, your host is attentive without being overbearing.
Cons: Nothing, it is very well set up.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hidden away in the Burgundy hills, well off the beaten path, this little gem, while hard to find, was a treasure. No sooner than we had arrived we were met with warm friendly smiles, refreshing tea and homemade cookies and a personal guide to our two room 'suite'. While it was in fact the only rental room in this private home, it was well appointed, extremely clean and comfortable. The owner was a font of knowledge about the region, providing information about the region - its geography and history. ]] Breakfast was served in the family kitchen and featured home made jams, yogurt and the freshest of baked goods. The owner remained with us providing interesting conversation.
Cons: hard to find

Pros: The property is absolutely gorgeous in a beautiful location. The rooms are very spacious, well decorated and very clean. Kristine was a very welcoming host and gave us lots of recommendations for our trip in Burgandy ( maps, restaurants, domains, villages to visit ). The breakfast was delicious. We couldn't be happier in our stay there! Without question exceeded our expectations!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Don't be fooled by the vintage period and exterior of the house, it's absolutely spotless and so well kept inside! Not only have Kristien & Peter done an amazing job turning this old house into an amazing B&B, they have kept it up to a very high standard. 7.1 Good
Pros: We arrived late and left in the morning so I can only comment on the room. It has a cosy, classic style and the bed was comfortable. Seemed safe to lock our bikes in the garden. Wifi was an ok speed.
Cons: Though we arrived at 10pm the windows had been kept shut and the room was stifling hot and had a slightly unpleasant smell. We called ahead so they could have opened up the room as a courtesy. Perhaps if we had seen other parts of the hotel we would have had a nicer impression.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to town centre; 1.5 km; shady but no ac in rooms. Traditional old style accommodation. Breakfast excellent; dinner superb for price; €15-20 € and excellent carafe wines of aligote and Macon at cheap prices €7.80 per demi litre. Wines in other restaurants and hotels are ridiculously expensive.
7.5 Good
Pros: Place, and bedding clean.
Cons: Looks tired. Fittings all old. Not possible to have a drink in the room. Never like carpets around WCs. Needs a bit of oil on the door as I kept on thinking Chewbacca was coming up the hall.
7.9 Good
Pros: The car park was very secure and the hotel was a pleasant stroll from the town centre. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet.
Cons: The decor was a little dated but then we didn’t spend much time in the room apart from when we were asleep!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The small town feel. You feel safe and everyone in the town was friendly and helpful Very peaceful all of my friends who cane with me loved this hotel and they would book again
6.7 Good
Pros: You will not get more central to town than here. Across from the old market and a brasserie.
Cons: The bed is rock hard. Whilst it didn’t bother me anyone who is a bit worried about their security may feel a little uncomfortable because the door to the hotel is open all night and your only security is your room door. But this is a quiet lovely little town so I doubt security would be a problem.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location suited us well.
Cons: Could have done with a rack for shampoo etc in the shower.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the square!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: location, Setting, comfy bed and pillows
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the old style building, clean comfortable rooms and location in the town square. There is a nearby boulangerie which has delicious pastries. The bar across the square was nice for an evening drink. We also visited the cave of Nolay to purchase wine. Very good value!
Cons: It was a very loud night - not the hotels fault. Apparently there was a wedding in town so people were up late. This is a very lovely hotel. We booked a parking space but we were unable to get into the garage as somebody had blocked the entrance. This was not a problem, there is plenty of areas to park around the town. It is also a safe town.

Pros: We were welcomed on arrival and given a splendid tea, along with some fresh fruit. The room was what we expected and its location was perfect for us to stroll into the square where we had a great dinner in Olivier Laflaive's restaurant. We were offered a great selection of croissant, cereals, fruit, cheese etc for breakfast which set us for our onward journey
Cons: nothing !
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfectly organized by the madam, and you can get even a tooth paste and brush, if request. Very clean and neat bath room and high quality towels were also at the level of 5 star hotels. If not perfect French, your effort to communicate with her in English, for instance, will make your stay memorable.
Cons: Nothing special.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was absolutely amazing and so was the view from the windows over the vines. The hosts really made us feel welcome and the breakfast in the morning was perfect to start our day. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Cons: This is not something we didn't like, but something to help people when they visit. There are a few restaurants in the village but you will HAVE to book. Otherwise you have to drive to the neighboring villages or town Beaune.

Pros: Absolutely fabulous location with wonderful accommodation. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Incredibly luxurious and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an unbelievable find this is. I can't imagine a better location if you have even a slight interest in wine. It's in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, a short walk to the restaurants of the village, nevertheless, a car is needed for the location but free parking is available. I can't remember a time when I booked in to such a huge room. There's easily enough space in there for 2 and with a travel cot or bed, a small family could easily fit. Amazing shower, with views of the vineyards. Jacques and Christine are so welcoming. Very happy to offer guidance and advice on where to go and see and eat. Nothing is too much trouble. A lovely continental breakfast was served on their terrace overlooking the vines. Jacques also gave us a tour of his wine facilities and a tasting of his wine. When we're next in the area, we will be back for sure. Just superb!
Cons: Nothing. All was superb.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation is modern, stylish, clean and spacious. We had a very enjoyable stay and sampled some of Jacques' excellent wines; it was interesting to hear about his winemaking philosophy and methods. Very good breakfast too.

Pros: Room was private, lovely, oversized and well appointed. My 6’5” husband was thrilled with the vaulted ceiling and modern high water pressure shower. Jack and Christine were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The dinner at Cabane, was a highlight of our wine country tour. Simple, comfortable and excellent a description of our accommodations as well.

Pros: This is a very special accommodation occupying the second story of a very large, completely new structure in a small, working winery on the owner's property. The craftsmanship is amazing - solid, clean, everything is high quality.
Cons: Our stay should have been longer!
