Breakfast and Dinner both were excellent
Price, parking and close to Beauvais Airport ( car is necessary) Wifi was terrible. I went to the front desk to ask is there was anything that could be done to improve on the signal, and I was told that it might improve after 10 PM. This, unfortunately, was not the case. This was one of the worst Internet connections I've experienced anywhere, and I travel a ton.
small friendly hotel not having a lift as we had a lot of luggage
breakfast and dinners were excellent
We had a problem with our room, we where moved to a better room straight away. The staff on reception couldn't speak English so had a job asking question about food.
The lady at reception and very helpful and friendly. Limited menu for dinner as out of beef, dirty bedroom and ensuite
The hotel is rather shabby in its interior decor, it needs a make over.
Price was very important as we were using the hotel as an overnight stop off prior to flying out the next day. Breakfast was substantial and great value ...well done. Hallways were a bit dark but that's it.
it was really near to the airport which is why we chose it. the breakfast that was available. a cooked breakfast would've been good.
friendly help full staff noisy fan in room even when switched off. very basic room and dated from the 80's - sweets on pillows??? also said it was 5 minute walk drom station, reason for booking, wasn't and had to find a taxi.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable - great value for money. The fact that the family room was on the top floor and there was no lift meant numerous trips up and down with luggage.
Location to airport and WIFI. It served it's purpose, but not much in the immediate area without a car.
Good place to stay if you need an overnight stop close to Beauvais Airport. Clean, Tidy, Friendly Staff.
Nice location, very helpful and friendly staff, varied breakfast. tiny tiny but tidy rooms.
Everything was OK, we stayed there just for one night before our flight from Beauvais-Tille. Clean and quite spacy room.
proximity to beauvais airport n/a
The friendliness of staff. Location was unattractive.
Good price for a nice place to sleep
Friendly staff and good value for money
It is quite close to the Beauvais airport and suitable for late arrivals. It was o.k. for the purpose.
the italian restaraunt next door nowhere to walk safely in area.....shuttle bus cost 4 euro per person to airport and no taxi availability-----no airconditioning and windows only opened on full length which could have allowed vermin or intruders so had to remain closed
Friendly and polite staff A suggestion for breakfast that customers be shown where all the food options are. We completely missed the refrigerated section as it was set away from the main area!
Clean hotel and rooms. Waiter for evening meal was pleasent, we were the only guests to eat in the hotel. Heating in rooms inadequate and room was freezing. Hotel receptionist not helpful when we tried to book a taxi to airport, she did not know local train or bus times or prices etc. No staff available at breakfast so we just helped ourselves and paid for it on checkout. Menu in hotel Restaurant very poor. Overall the hotel was very poor value.
Good rooms overpriced restaurant food approx 70 Euros for 2 people for basic food and drinks
cleanliness , courtesy of all the staff , restaurant that was open untill 10pm , proximity to AGCO factory . everything was just 1st class .
Clean and quiet room, Close to the airport and to main routes. Staff very friendly and quick acting during check out Breakfast too expensive
sheets were not too clean, quite old hotel. Shuttle service does not belong to the hotel ! You need to buy a ticket (4 eur) and from the airport it takes 40 minutes !!!!! Difficult to find a taxi in case you arrive say at 11 PM at the Beuavais airport..
the room were very cold i had to go down 3 times in the reception to get a room properly heat it
Good parking, easy access, comfy well-designed air-con room, and good food.
Food was good for a hotel of this type. proximity to airport.
location near client
nice bathroom :)
too small room for three people
We enjoyed the staff service, the rooms were clean and confortable and had heating, there was also internet. We also had a kettle to make tea or coffee and packets of biscuits. We only stayed for one night because we were going to Paris. The location isn't brilliant but there is a supermarque nearby and regular buses to Beauvais.
The best thing about the hotel was the comfort of the bed. Quite the most comfortable I slept in on a journey around France. The directions given when we booked the hotel said that we should leave the autoroute at the exit maked Beauvais Nord. There is no such exit and we has passed B sud and B centre and had to motor on to the next exit about 15k further and then come back. To make matters worse we were caught in a traffic jam on the autoroute. The exit should be beauvais centre.
nice staff Wireless internet wasn't working during whole stay, annoying for a business traveller.
Accessible, restuarant great, easy access to rooms. Inexpensive. Room smelt of smoke covered by air freshener, beer and wine were very expensive.
As we had all cycled over 70 miles to get there the ample fresh food for breakfast and evening meal was most welcome
Welcome was a little cool, though not unfriendly. Room very comfortable and with tea/coffee making facility - a big plus for hotels in France! Wide choice of foodstuffs for breakfast and morning staff were friendlier for checkout. Difficult to find - The entrance is tucked away in a commercial complex and is poorly signed. Some extra signing or a clearer map would be appreciated.
The reception was very correct as also in general the room facilities were ok. The remote for the TV was not working.
The rooms are good with bath and shower,tv,tea & coffee The restaurant staff was rushed and the service was slow as if short of staff
breakfast although I requested a non smoking room, I was given a smoking room with a strong cigarette smell
It was very inexpensive it was bit loud, and not really in the middle of Beauvais
Excellent value for the money. We needed a place to stay near the airport. Buffalo Grill and McDonalds are within walking distance. No problem with the reservation on line and acquiring the room keys from the dispenser after hours. Compact rooms (like on a cruise ship) but perfectly adequate for one night. Good breakfast selection.
staff of the hotel is very good, otherwise how much money, this much music very small and dark rooms
I realy enjoied staing at your hotel. The receptionist girl was realy helpfull and kind. (I had something to print and this saved me some money). Room was clean, well heated. I had a room with 3 bads, I can realy recomand that for a family with kids. Kids will enjoy it. I was missing the cupboard for clothes.
I would describe the Premiere Classe more of a "motel" than a hotel. Having said that, it was clean and suited our purposes for an overnight stopover on the way to Disney. My 9 year old daughter loved her bunk bed! For the price, we couldn't really complain about anything.
Very small room and toilet
the two rooms we booked were on different levels and different sides of the hotel.
i liked the guy at the reception,he was very friendly and efficient,i also like that the bus station for the airport was very near i didn't like that we couldn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel, the bed was to small for 2 people but overall this hotel it was a good choice!
it was very easy to get onto the airport shuttle, just a 2 minute walk
The breakfast was quite good. The guy at the front desk was quite arrogant and unfriendly, not to say rude. The bathroom is very tiny, the sink did not fit in the bathroom and is in the room.
We liked the location of the hotel: it was a central location, however in a quiet and nice street. We also liked the attitude of the hotel staff: they were very helpful and were very polite. The size of the hotel room was a bit small in terms of all furniture and fixtures installed, which, in turn, left almost no room even to enter the room itself. But we consider it is the case with most of the buildings with central location in Paris, so it was OK for us.
Neat the airport,cathedral.
hotel near the airport, provides transport in the required time for us
Friendly staff, clean throughout and ample parking available Room was a little warm shower room a bite small and the shower water feeds were plumbed in resulting in the hot being the cold and the cold being the hot - so not bad really
the guy didnt let me have my key I felt like a prisioner at a hotel. . .
No hair dryer in room or to borrow from reception.
I have booked this hotel for my family who stayed in Beauvais for one night. Upon arrival they were told that they have to pay, in spite of the fact that they did have the booking reservation with them. I was sad to to hear that the receptionist refused to even bother looking on their PC. It is advertised as being close to Beauvais Airport, but it is not.
the staff were the most helpful that you could wish for no
It is handy located, close to the airport. We had 2 rooms and both were rather clean. Good price Very very very basic. No tea/coffe facility. Reception closed after 11 pm. The receptionst was unable (not rude bot 'not bothered much') to order taxi for us and we had to walk to the airport (about 30 minutes)
Easy to find and that there was a restaurant adjacent room was a bit small
Easy to reach with bus. The room was humid and cigarettes smokey.
close to BVA airport, about 20mins wark. Room is clean, Hotel is ok for one night stop. Not easy to find the hotel if you arrival SNCF station in the town, take a taxi costs eur30.
We came just when the hotel was closing for the night and met the hotel employee as she was leaving. She was very helpful and went back in and showed us to our room. The room was simple but very clean, quiet and comfortable. We have no complaints
Within 25 minutes to the airport. Clean.
Close to the Paris-Beauvais airport No possibility to have breakfast early morning.
The location to Beauvais-Tille Airport and the bus stop location near the hotel is great.
Very close to the airport Small room and would be better if the staff try to speak more english to non french speaking guests
Staff was very helpful, room was a large, lots of room t move around
Attentive staff, small but decent room. Good breakfast (extra cost). A bit far from the airport and the shuttle bus takes 40 minutes to get there at night and then only runs early in the morning. We had to take a cab for 15 euro to get to the airport later that morning. Rooms not as soundproof as they advertise.
Staff unfriendly and lack of general hygiene at the hotel
Arrived late at night but this was no problem
Hotel staff very nice, we felt totally relaxed. Bar is very small, but maybe that is because we are Irish. Ha Ha
Paid before seeing the room and then found TV not working. When I complained they already knew so they could have informed me when we checked in. They could not provide an alternative room or replace the TV. Shower leaked onto floor in shower room. Only one soap and one shampoo sachet.
there was hot water. This was the smallest room I've stayed in. We booked a double room but were given a twin room. If you wanted to sit on the chair at the desk you had to move the beds.I think we woke the whole hotel every time we opened the bathroom door - noisy!
Car Park. Had to wait one hour to check in, although reception supposed to be open. When given keys to rooms, found rooms not ready and still as left by previous occupants. Refurbishment of hotel left reception and corridors in a very dishevelled and dirty state, which was not advised at booking stage.
Good location & easy to find. Plenty of car parking available and free WiFi which we used for onward bookings and tourist attractions on our holiday.
The hotel staff were very pleasant Yes, it was too far out of town and very far to walk to from the town. Taxis were impossible to get. There was supposed to be a shuttle bus to and from the airport but it did not materialise.
Hard to find even with sat nav.
The Chateau was lovely, beautiful surroundings and impressive building. |The staff, who I think were family, were all very friendly and accommodating. Our daughter and granddaughter had a superior room and it was spacious and clean. Ours was a standard and it was clean and the beds comfortable. The adult breakfasts were delicious and served in a very pleasant conservatory. When we booked the web site did not process the booking very quickly ( more that 30 min ) so we re booked thinking the booking had not gone through, it had! Cancelling the second booking was done efficently the following day but the resopnse from the web site needs to be quicker. Also when we booked it stated that there was a restraunt, having booked we got an e-mail saying that it was closed on the night we stayed. Not good when you are travelling with a 2 1/2 year old. We booked 4 breakfasts and there was no breakfast, adult or child, served to my granddaughter. I had to ask for milk for her to drink, she actually ate from our breakfasts. Our bathroom was shabby with a very limescaled shower but it worked and there was enough hot water and clean towels.
The Chateau was magnificent as were all the internal oak features. The restaurant was outstanding, and good value for money, with excellent cuisine. The setting was perfect and we were disappointed it was too cold to use the swimming pool. We look forward to our next visit when large open fires will be burning in the winter. The room decor was a little tired with a few water stains on the ceiling
Location Resturant was closed and breakfast was disappointing
Occupation was good. In the past I stayed there and the hotel was very empty.
I like the oldy worldy feel of it... I was expecting a more up market hotel but really enjoyed the old feel of this hotel... The meals where rather expensive and none of the staff could speak English... but they where all very friendly and helpful....
The food, the service, relaxed. Our room was rather basic, dark and cramped. No tea/coffee making facilitities. No lounge area.
The beauty of the place, both inside and outside of the hotel.
The owners are very kind and efficient.
Staff (owners ?) were very understanding about our very late arrival, caused by national stirke disruption, and waited up until after 1am until we found the hotel.Room was spotless, with a simple but pristine ensuite. Didn't have much time to enjoy a breakfast, as we had to get to Beauvais airport to catch our rerouted flights home.... Maybe in the future we can return to the hotel under more relaxed circumstances, and enjoy a trip to Picardy.
Charming hotel! Quiet French province! Located near Beauvais Pleasantly and friendly staff
Very clean, easy to find with very pleasant Gentleman booking you in and serving breakfast.
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, value for money, parking facilities
Interesting room, friendly service
About the only good thing is that you get a bed for the night. Hotel staff were not on site when we arrived, just a note advising us of our room number. You could describe the service as "iconic French". The on-site parking was through a very narrow opening into a courtyard. The only way we could exit without getting hung up on large blocks either side of the entrance was to drive straight out across the (very busy) two lanes of the main street in the town. This was usually accompanied by beeping horns and fist waving.
well the location was not to bad only across the road from the train station and not to far from cinema . well i didn't like this hotel as we paid 129euro for a room and the rooms and corridors could do with a revamp 10 years ago so glad i was only staying one night .
Hotel Chenal offered a nice stay with pleasant staff and good services, comfortable room etc. There was a carpet on the floor, which is not recommended because it's hard to clean it perfectly, so many people do & will have allergic reactions! Besides that, wake-up call service didn't work.
Excellent room, very friendly and helpful staff Requested car parking, but was not available at hotel. Luckily, it was Sunday, and free parking opposite.
nice staff Bad standard. Far below expectations
location a little shabby
The location with easy acces to train and airport shuttle. Comfortable room that was big enough for our family of six. Friendly staff.
the breakfast was pretty good The room was very poor, old fashioned and in need of major refurb. I would not use this hotel again.
Walking distance to restaurants , shopping and train station Poor wifi, bathroom and hotel hallway lights needed to be turned on manually
This hotel staff was very helpfull. this hotel was not a 3 star by any standards, the room was not clean and the bathroom was dirty. I would urge anyone who's thinking of booking it to please reconsider and choose another one. Also was not good value for what you get.
Good big bed No
The buffet breakfast was very poor
The setting, ie. The Gardens. The Restraunt was excellent. Seeing the Hotel was virtually empty, it was a shame our room was in an annexe on the second floor. A little generosity on the room, seeing how expensive the restraunt was would have been appreciated.
We liked the gardens and the setting as well as the history of the buildings The dining room is also the swimming pool and i did not like the smell of chlorine with my dinner.
The location was great. I did not like the fact that the gates close at 9.30pm and you have to be in the hotel. This does not allow you to eat out and be back in time without cutting your evening short. This is deliberate and is intended to make you eat and drink at the hotel which is expensive. Our evening visiting friends was cut short and spoilt by this. Before staying at this hotel check if this curfew is still in place.
The room rate was good given the standard of accommodation. I am not used to having a shower cubicle/handbasin actually in the bedroom (ie not in a seperate room off the bedroom). The bed was small. The restuarant v.expensive with a 125 ml glass of white wine costing 12 euros. The gates were locked at 11.00 pm and you could not get access after this time. The reception didn't open and gates were not unlocked. until 9.00 am. To advertise a spa is stretching the imagination. The small pool is in the resturant and can only be used 9.00am -11.00am and 3,00 - 5.00 pm and also not on Sundays or holidays!
The hotel was a beautiful chateau setting along a river. Checkin was good with our luggage being picked up with a golf cart and transported to the appropriate building. Our room was clean and comfortable. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was good. We originally thought the setting around the pool was a bit strange, but it was nice in the end. There was a concerted effort to help with the language issue since we speak very little French. Everyone was frriendly and tried their best to make us comfortable. We had a standard room and the shower was not a separate room-glass enclosed and visible. The security system was a bit overwhelming-had to arrive and depart on a timetable and no leaving your room after midnight or an alarm would be set off. Not a real problem; it was made a point of several times.
Excellent facilities, beautiful setting and building. Poolside restaurant was excellent, we had no problems witht the smell of chlorine. Eating in the hotel is very expensive, but well worth the experience. Breakfast was excellent. The grounds are well kept and good parking. Staff are very attentive to detail. The room was in the annexe, and was far too small , some seating outside of the annexe would be appreciated. Check the cost of the evening meal before booking, as you cannot enter or leave the grounds after 9:00 pm. So you need to be committed to eating in the hotel, which is fine for one night, but would be very expensive for longer. You are not allowed to bring any food or drinks in to the hotel. There is nothing to see or do in the village, it is run down.
