Good atmosphere at the place
NIce room, very large for EU standards. Small but good quality breakfast.
centally located, beautifully restored hotel...large rooms for European hotel, good value for the money
Once grand hotel is in process of renovating and upgrading, but did not diminish quality of stay. Best hotel in area. Bed quality needs attention.
Based on earlier reviews and after looking at the website of the hotel, I decided to stay for the night at the Tonneau d' Or. I do not regret this choice: the staff is extremely kind and helpful, the architecture of the main hall is impressive, the rooms are quite OK. I would add two pluses; the presence of an inside parking area where you can leave safely your car and the proximity (5 minutes walk) of the Old Town of Belfort, a pleasant area
It's centrally located with free parking, close to restaurants and the historic old town. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
no triple room was available so we were given two adjoining rooms, large and very comfortable
Car park out the back and location of hotel
My wife needs a wheelchair and facilities for disabled in the bathroom. We short-listed hotels in Belfort on this basis. Unlike some hotels which state they are wheelchair/disabled friendly but are not, this hotel lived up to our expectations and requirements. The en-suite shower room was excellent - one of the best we have experienced. Lovely interior to the hotel. It would have been nice if there had been a restaurant for an evening meal.
just stayed for the night, room was comfortable we came back one week later for another night, this second time room was not as good and very noisy
Very nice rooms Often had to wait for staff to man the reception
Conveniently located for our purposes in downtown. Hotel staff very helpful. Bed comfortable. Room too much like a motel. Had to go outside from reception to access room, raining, very uncomfortable to go outside again.
quiet, comfort, staff towels had a strange smell but they were clean. Poor pressure on water.
Room was very spacious, so was the bathroom. Hotel is downtown, a minute walk from the train station and the old castle. Very quiet and clean. Staff is friendly, helpful, and breakfast is good. Secure parking at the hotel too.
The staff were friendly and helpful The town was closed except for a couple of kebab shops and a pizza place. The room was very small with only a curtain on the bathroom that did not cover the doorway.
Very cute, very ordered, staff very friendly. We arrived too early to check in and they put a priority on our room so that it could be ready sooner. They were great.
nice location in center of town, helpful personnel
the room fee was cheap
Very kind and helpful staff. Good location. Nice swimming pool and sauna.
Very nice stuff, quite good food. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable. Not so much chose of food for brakfast.
It is a nice and clean hotel with plenty of secure parking space. Some distance to the city centre and citadel, but very close to the Univeristy.
Comfortable room, clearly recently refurbished. Good value for money. Short walk from town centre Immediate locality appeared to be rough to say the least. Two pillows per bed would be nice and a door on the bathroom would have been a bonus. The hinges were in place so I suspect that this was a temporary condition relating to the refurbishment.
I liked very much the attention of the staff of the hotel, specially the lady that worked during the night
Old structure withd a fully renovated need.
Value for money combined with a good location Rooms were not cleaned or checked during the entire stay and we had to purchase toilet paper as reception was closed and toilet paper had not been replenished.
Good value for money. The lady at reception when we arrived was most helpful and this made our overnite very enjoyable. Please convey our compliments to the lady in question. The details as to where we come off the motorway and find the hotel was very poor.In effect vwe had to ring the hotel to get directions etc.
Buffet breakfast excellent
the receptions there are very nice~~~`
Reasonable location fro overnight stop overs to break the journey and not too for from the main road in and out of town. An English TV channel to recieve news and weather would be nice and helpful.
The staff was very nice, I was coming late and they agreed to wait for me, they were helpful. It was cheap compared with other hotels in Belfort. The room was not very clean and it smelled bad. It wasn't very cosy. Although it was the cheapest hotel I found in Belfort, I think it was nos worth its price.
use it in case that you really have no enough money
Frienly staff nicely furnished and decorated good beds and bathroom nice food close to main roads Breakfast was a bit expensive
Check in took very long as receptionist decided to take a long phone call during check in. credit card and cash was stolen from my colleagues room during breakfest.
A nice location and a nice relaxing atmosphere in the Restaurant
all perfect customers have not the ability to choose the room's temperature, it was a litle cool for us
Good location for food and amenities of Belfort. Easy to find. Quite small for a Novotel, imagine it is very busy when conference is running.
Hotel design and Reception staff was very helpfull. Bar staff to little present. Breakfast staff too much present. Nothing serious however
Quiet The immedite suroundings was not nice
Great hospitality of the personnel. No.
Friendly staffs. Room was clean.
Convenience for walking into the historic centre. Having a 24hr desk makes a big difference to convenience.
difficult to reach by car, navigator didn't find it. the location of the hotel is not the best.
The hotel staff is very helpful and kind. You can find everything in Kyriad Montbeliard to have a relaxed stay.
Unimpressed with their restaurant being closed sunday night and that we needed to walk over 1km to the town centre (no map to help) and search for a restaurant
Position, rustic charm and warm welcome
a real chateaux complete with friendly and interesting owner. loved walking round exploring the grounds and drinking a bottle of wine as the sun set. great great time. there is not really anywhere to eat in the town so eat before arriving
Understand this is a guy and his castle. No front desk nothing like a hotel - go for the experience Nothing really - we understood what it was all about and it was fantastic.
Respect of my privacy, freandly receptionist, possibility of takinig hot drinks any time in the room, nice background. Absence of mini-bar in the room :o)
it was nice to have A/C in the room - this is not yet common in Campanile hotels
