Pros: only problem was that room was at top of steep stairs and the was a bath with hand held shower spray. Hard for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise all was great. Friendly owner greeted us and showed us round. Use of garden. Good breakfast
Cons: bath not shower
Pros: Absolutely charming! Beautiful surroundings, made to feel very welcome.
Pros: The warm welcome, the beautifully restored Grange and well appointed bathroom. The delicious dinner prepared from produce from the kitchen garden complimented by a bottle of Anjou; the wine of the region. There was a huge choice for breakfast including homemade jams; superb and something for everyone. The beautiful park-like garden beautifully kept and lovingly tended by the owner which extends down to the river with views of the old mill on the opposite bank. The tranquillity and peace after a long day on the road was just what was needed and greatly appreciated.
Cons: Nothing could have been better.
Pros: Made to feel welcome from the very first moment we arrived. We had a beautiful room completed by wonderful home made breakfasts. The host had a vast knowledge of the area and pointed us in the direction of wonderful restaurants.
Pros: Beautifully renovated old French property in amazing gardens. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Host was friendly, helpful and happy. Breakfast was perfect with many homemade items. Marie was a wonderful host. If we're ever in the area again we will stay here. Highly recommended.
Cons: There was nothing. Amazing place.
Pros: Everything. Location is divine, tucked into a lovely village on the outskirts of Segre. The Grange is a fabulous place lovingly and very tastefully furnished and decorated. It's a little piece of Heaven and the hosts are perfect. We loved the communal dining table and the breakfast was delicious, most especially the homemade yoghurt. Delicious. Our bedroom was a haven of peace and tranquillity. Stay here it will restore your soul.
Pros: Beautiful bedroom in old 17th century with every modern convenience. Breakfast was excellent. A highlight was home made yogurt accompanied by homemade preserves.
Cons: Drinking water in the bedroom would have been nice
Pros: Excellent barn conversion accommodation, roomy bedroom, all facilities and a lovely location in beautiful garden. Wonderful dinner provided to weary travellers by arrangement and ver good breakfast.
Pros: Large room and bathroom ~ light and airy
Cons: No-one present at location when we arrived ~ it took 30 minutes to find someone to come from elsewhere to admit us after we managed to find a telephone number to call a member of staff just moments before we were about to leave and search elsewhere. No attempt had been made to advise us of this problem.

Pros: Outstanding hotel and restaurant, ideally situated 20 minutes stroll into Centre of Segré. The staff made us very welcome, the room was comfortable and clean. With the air conditioned bedroom during exceptional high summer temperatures was a bonus! The excellent meal in the hotel restaurant at the end of our tour around the town was fabulous. Very good breakfast too (included in the price of the room). Highly recommend this hotel.
Pros: Very friendly staff who were more than helpful. Room location and facilities excellent. Love the little bag of sweets in the room and free water. Wifi was excellent.
Cons: I had an 5.30 start but after eating in the hotel the night before I got food poisoning which made my dash to the coast very eventful as I had to keep stopping and finding a toilet. The annoyance is I choose the expensive menu worst £50 I spent for one meal. I'll do basic next time.
Pros: Good buffet selection Good breakfast Parking good
Cons: Located on out of town area
Pros: Location ideal for breaking the long drive through France. The food was good, evening meal & breakfast with the added bonus of a really helpful member of staff who spoke excellent English. Comfortable, quiet room.

Pros: Very nice and helpful hosts!

Pros: Sylvie was very helpful and her rhubarb compote was excellent.
Cons: My wife would have preferred a softer bed
Pros: We had dinner as well as bed and breakfast. The food and service were excellent. The owner, Sylvie, was very friendly and a wonderful host, she also spoke some English. Breakfast was served with home made jams which were superb. There was fresh fruit and yogurt as well as orange juice, bread, brioche and croissants for breakfast. Off the bedroom we had our own outdoor patio space with a table and two chairs. The bathroom was huge and the room was large and comfortable with a big double bed. There was also a day bed in the room as well as a dressing table, two chairs, TV, free Wifi, wardrobe and tea/coffee making facilities; all this and private parking.
Cons: I'm not a fan of bolster pillows. That was the only thing I didn't like.
Pros: Lovely welcome. beautifully rural and French. Great French breakfast included.
Pros: Quiet rural countryside with only the sound of the cockerel as your wake up call. Sylvie & Gerards warm welcome was like meeting up with special friends. Sylvies home cooking was a delight. Would love to go back there some day.
Pros: OK for the bush
Pros: This property was excellent as a base. With just a short drive to the nearby lovely village, large supermarket and ammenities it is ideal for car travellers. The hostess was extremely welcoming, rooms clean, well appointed , spacious - bathroom similar. This is an old farm manor house converted well - with both a large communal dining room, which is for guests use, plus the bonus of an individual terrace for each room, and unusual for France - kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Dinner can be arranged as an added feature. We found the rural setting, the total privacy, easy access and security, including parking, very appealing.
