Pros: Extremely nice, attentive, and helpful staff member at the Sonoma County Airport terminal/ Hertz counter. He was even able to make a change that the phone-rep couldn't.
When trying to make changes on the phone earlier, the rep was very kind and tried to help as much as she could.
Cons: The car had some minor damage, which wasn't inspected or logged by anyone as we picked up the car. This was never a problem, but we felt the need to take photos to be sure.

Cons: We never got a car. I was told they rented all the cars to others and did not have one for us. I called to tell them we were on our way and they could not find our reservation. Then they found it and said they couldn't find it because I put it in my husbands name. We both have the same name. Worst experience we ever had. We needed to get to the airport.

Was not told extra charge would apply to drop off.
Cons: Poor customer service in not insuring I understood office would be closed and airport office would charge for intercity drop off. So 24 hour rental was not 24 hour and rental cost 30$ more than if I had just rented from airport from the start. Agent had plenty of time to shoot the breeze about cats
Cons: Made a reservation online and received a confirmation number. Arrived at the rental car location only to be told that there were no cars available for rent. Missed out on my daughter shopping for her wedding dress!! Spoke with no less than 5 people at Avis/Budget - none of whom were able to do anything. I may not ever make an online car rental reservation again - and certainly not with Avis/Budget.
