Enterprise Employee states KAYAK has no clue if ca
Cons: Reserved an Enterprise Car Rental for the following day with a pick up time of 9:00 am, using KAYAK. I received a call from Enterprise at 7:30 am (the morning I was going to pick up the car) informing me that a car would not be available until the afternoon. The Enterprise Employee told me that KAYAK has no clue if cars are available.
I had an appointment that I could not miss. I spent the next hour and a half on the phone, trying to rent a car and ultimately had to borrow a car from a family member.
Cons: Kayak lied about the total cost of the rental and I was charged triple the amount my confirmation stated I would be charged. I am fighting the charge but so far Kayak has said they do not initiate charges - which is odd as I entered my card information into their website. I certainly will not be paying the amount charged nor will I EVER use Kayak again for anything. I thought is was odd that I could not use my AMEX to pay for my transaction, as AMEX has excellent fraud protection for its customers, which lead me to believe the transaction would be shady. I should have gone with my gut. If you are reading this, get off this website and book somewhere else.
