Budget is terrible as far as customer service
Pros: The 2nd car we received was fine.
Cons: We arrived in Grand Cayman at 9:45 pm on 7/9/2016. The delay was due to maintenance issues with the plane from Cayman Airways. This information was available to anyone with internet access. When we arrived, they did not have the full size car that I had reserved. They had already given it to someone else with the excuse that they didn't think we would make it that day. All they had left was a sub-compact car. Also, they advised us at that time that they would not be open when we came to return the car. Also, we had to put a $500.00 deposit / hold on a credit card, which A) I was NOT told about at time of booking and B) Ive been to Cayman 8 times now and this is the 1st time I've ever had to do that. There were 3 of us total, so we had 6 pieces of luggage and 3 carry ons with a sub compact car. All luggage in back and 3 people in front. Completely RIDICULOUS!!! So to sum it up, there were 3 problems with the rental
1) WRONG CAR AT PICKUP
2) Rental car agency not open at time of pickup. Why would you allow someone to rent a car from a place that wouldn't be open at drop-off time? I specified my drop-off time when I booked
3) Kayak should state UP FRONT that there is a $500.00 CC hold at pickup. This was not done
