Pros: Cars are at airport
Cons: The first car was used by a smoker and then over sprayed with a cover smell so it was awful. We drove it just off the site and found the smell too objectionable to continue. I called the 800 number and Hertz arranged for me to trade in the car for another. We were told to be see the gas tank was full, so although we'd barely driven it, we did get gas and found we already needed gas! That indicated to us it probably wasn't really full at pickup. I complained when I turned in the replacement car and although they argued with me, they did give me credit for the cost of the gasoline. The price of the car was almost $100 a day, the same car had a rental agreement left by the previous renter and they paid much less. This experience was unlike our previous rentals at Hertz on Nantucket which have not been unpleasant.

Cons: The office was closed when I returned the car, so I put my contract, keys, and gas receipt in the Dropbox. But instead of charging me for a one day rental, they charged me for three. And of course it takes 5-7 business days for my credit card to be refunded, but only one day to charge it.

Pick up poor- Drop Off Great
Pros: Drop off was easy and was done "live" with an Ipad type device- very quick very efficient,.
Car was clean and as described.
Cons: Booked for 9am pickup - got to the office to find office locked and rep out on another pick up. I had to stand in the snow for 20 mins until rep arrived.
Check out was then quick and efficient.

Cons: Nobody was at the Barnstable location and nobody answered the phone when called. The building is a little run down as well. It was cold out and we were waiting outside. Our customer service rep finally showed up and informed us he had to take care of two facilities. He was very good and friendly, I hope he has help for the summer
Cons: I had made my reservation using a debit card, but when I arrived to pick up my car, they said that there policy didn't allow me to rent a car with that card. Luckily, other places were still open so I could go get a car from Hertz - which was a great experience.

Pros: Everyone I interacted with was professional and friendly.
Cons: I found someone's personal items in the care, and so returned to the agency during busy traffic. A coffee spill near cup holder had not been cleaned.
