Pros: upgraded us from a mini van to a sequoia suv - was not easy for 5 people & luggage to get in and out of....they said not to worry about documenting dings & dents when we took possession....then on the return they tried to charge us for them.
Cons: tried to overcharge us for upgrade.

Cons: They seemed friendly at pickup, then when I dropped off my vehicle there were extra charges on my bill for things I never even asked for. Calling customer service is a joke and corporate never answers. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!

Poor service poorly kept cars
Pros: The prices were affordable
Cons: The cars are not cleaned properly, had to switch the first car they gave me because is was smelling like a mixture of vomit and intense smoking. The early morning service was poor to drop the car off and get a shuttle ride to the airport. I had to wait on the disorganized staff to get going in the morning which caused me to just make my check in time.

Pros: The car (Camry) was a really good rental. The employee at the rental desk was extremely courteous and patient (my bank shut down my card because I was out of state). She even looked for me at the pickup spot (it was also the end of her shift).
Cons: There are no specific directions where to drop the car off. The receipt had an address but it didn't say to drop off the car there. Also, I was charged a $200 security deposit that I didn't expect. I usually book with Thrifty who charges only $80. An unexpected cost when starting vacation.

Great Price, But You'll Have To Work For It
Pros: Helpful staff, great running car and 40% less than competitors.
Cons: Car interior wasn't cleaned; pick-up/drop off is separate from all the big rental companies and somewhat hard to find; the car's tire inflation low warning light came on the first day.

A worst car rental,ever
Pros: Waited 45 minutes for the shuttle, had to wait another twenty minutes to be assigned a car and it was filthy inside
Cons: They tried to scam into buying extra insurance even though I showed them that I had more than enough coverage, I was told since I booked on line nothing applies to them that their company was a franchise and no American rules apply to them.
I did not like the way they tried to convince into paying more.
The car that I reserved was not given to me neither, they screwed on that too.

Pros: The car fit the description and it was clean.
Cons: I had trouble with Thrifty customer service. After I made the reservation I called Thrifty customer service line to receive more information about my rental. When I got to Quito to pick up my car I found out I was told wrong information (I was told I had 900 kilometers per day for my car rental over the phone. Then I was told I had 900 kilometers for the whole trip when I got there). This took me completely by surprise and the person at the counter was unable to help me. I would have found a different rental If it only included 900 kilometers. But I was already in Quito, I needed a car that day and I didn't speak the language well. It was upsetting and embarrassing when I was caught off guard.
