Cons: Cynthia at the Gulfport was extremely rude and slow. A landscaper had hit our window with a rock and broke the passenger window. I had spent over an hour with the 800 number filling out an accident report as instructed by the rental agreement. When we returned the car, she didn't even try to find the report in the system and made us fill out a whole new report. Before I was done filling it out she snapped it up and locked it In the back room even though I told her what I had written didn't reflect what actually happened since I wasn't done. She just said her manager told her to take the paper. When we called the manager who wasn't there on the phone, she acted like it was a huge inconvenience to talk to us and just kept not answering my question. It was an unneeded complication to an already stressful situation. I will never rent there again. Who takes a document when you aren't done and locks it in the back room so you can't finish. Ridiculously unprofessional!!

I would never buy this car
Cons: No pickup, to the point of causing dangerous driving situations. When the gas is depressed, the car did not react for several seconds. Seats were extremely uncomfortable no matter how they were adjusted, poor visibility for backing up and turning. Overall, this is a terrible car that shouldn't be rented to anyone and definitely was not worth the price we paid to rent.

Pros: It's been awhile since I rented from Dollar, but it remains a pleasurable experience. Carefree, no-hassle renting that remains smooth and efficient. I have another trip to Seattle in July and will be sure to include Dollar in my travel plans.

Pros: Friendly service and the counter person gave a $40 voucher on my next car rental for an unusually long wait time.
Cons: The only issue I had was waiting 30 minutes for the car to be ready after finishing all the paper work. I also thought it was odd that when I arrived they didn't have an economy car to rent and had to ask other car rental places if one was available.

Pros: I had a great car & it was very clean and everything went very smooth.
Cons: I've always rented with dollar, and I wish there was a way a waive the underage fee being that i've always rented with dollar. The prices are wonderful, its just the uderage fee that I disagree with.
Rented a month in advance and did not have my type
Pros: They did have a car for me.
Cons: I needed a SUV. They did not have any and substituted a sedan.

terrible customer service
Pros: The car was clean and even compatible with Florida toll ways for a small daily fee plus the cost of each individual toll, a very convenient addition. The vehicle was very clean and nice.
Cons: The woman who helped me explained nothing, I suppose she assumed I knew everything possibly because I had a reservation. She was short with her sentences and seemed overall just unhappy. She was not rude by any means, but my reservation was for a Ford Focus or similar and I received a Volkswagen Jetta which is completely fine. She didn't even tell me this though. She handed me the keys and assumed I just knew. I'm not sure honestly what her thought was. She didn't even attempt to explain the rental contract or any of the warnings such as non smoking or the fine. I was not offered any information regarding additional insurance and I'm still unaware if that was actually an option. I felt as if she did not care in the slightest about myself or my lack of knowledge regarding the details of renting a car from Avis for the first time. Overall she was utterly useless. A machine similar to that of a Red Box type of kiosk that dispenses keys would have likely been FAR more helpful.

Avis charged way more than price quoted
Cons: The rental cost almost 20 dollars more than the price Kayak quoted. No options were added and car was driven less than 15 miles. I could have rented a cheaper car somewhere else. Not happy at all. This is the second time this has happened and each time with Avis. Not happy at all.
