Pros: Cherry and Debbie both have got the balance just right, there when you need them and slip away when they know your ok. They are a wealth of information about the area and they made our 4 night stay very relaxing. The use of the breakfast room makes it good if you want to catch up on the news from home, or just chill with a glass of wine for a bit. Lovely place the hard work over the years has certainly paid off. Hope to be back as soon as we can. Sally and Andrew

Pros: Beautiful property, lovely classic room. Very comfortable bed. Corinne was a great hostess and extremely helpful with information about the area. We will be back next year. Great swimming pool
Cons: There was nothing we did not like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our short break here. The owners made us very welcome and we had a lovely breakfast. Our teenage son enjoyed the gym which was an added bonus. It would be great to go back in the summer to use the tennis courts and pool.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Hard working owners at a property in a good location for our needs.
Cons: I realise that it's a large property to heat but our room was cold and the landings and rest of the property were cold. Our room was double aspect and of a good size, but the decor in the room and the bathroom were quite outdated. We also had no bedside lights although we did have bedside tables. Our expectation of food was higher than we received, also quite expensive relative to other places locally. This was probably the start of the season here, but the exterior and grounds looked very untidy and lacked attention.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely reception by the owner, great breakfast and a beautiful room. Despite the pool being closed (due to understandably cold temperatures at the end of October), getting a little treat instead! Delicious breakfast with fresh baked goods and coffee.
Cons: The only thing we regret is not being able to taste Corinne's cooking. We were the only guests at the time and hadn't reserved an evening meal in advance. But we had a lovely dinner in a town just a 15 minute drive away (there were dining establishments closerby that the owners had given us information about, but we chose the one further away to go to a fancier restaurant).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and generous host. The children loved the indoor heated swimming pool.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good evening meal and cheerful host.
10.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great food from friendly host. Perfect for an overnight stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy access to break a journey. Welcoming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bart was extremely hospitable. He made me feel welcome right from the start providing a super, all home made evening meal. It was so go I returned to eat a second time. I was travelling alone and Bart gave me a book in English about the area for me to read whilst I ate my meal. He is so thoughtful I would recommend any one to use this b&b. There was a kettle in my room a nice surprise to have a drink after a day of travelling.
Cons: There was a noise from the garden next door but it didn't spoil my sleep. The fan in the shower stayed on but I slept through that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent hotel situated just off the road. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet and very comfortable with a shower and new television. The attached restaurant serves very good home made food and is excellent value. I will definitely be staying again when next in the region.
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Kettle and makings. Room size reasonable and nice comfy chair. I didn't have an outside chair but went and sat in the garden. Good shower but head doesn't stay in place.
Cons: I found the owner quite rude. I asked if there was anywhere I could put my motorcycle out of sight of the road. An abrupt "no" and didn't I get the message about the parking. Yes, I did - after I made a nonrefundable booking. I looked up the definition of motel. The parking is next to the accommodation. So this is not a motel. I asked if I could take my beer to the apartment, "no". Then he winged because I didn't want a meal or breakfast. I sent that message when I booked. So, sorry but my experience was with someone who maybe should not be in hospitality. I can only assume it isn't the same person mentioned in previous reviews or I caught him on a bad day. The room was OK but one quite small towel is a bit meagre, mine was damp. Couldn't get many channels on the TV, no signal.
7.5 Good
Pros: Super hot shower and emjoyed sitting outside our room.
Cons: Noise of wildlife outside our room.

5.8 Okay
Pros: breakfast wad adequate the highlight was the restaurant next door lovely food
Cons: the rooms were not inviting and they were dated
5.5 Okay
Pros: The restaurant next door was excellent.
Cons: No hairdryer, very poor value for money, basic.
4.3 Okay
Cons: No air conditioning though advertised. False bed lights which had no connection. Tiny room which smelt musty. A checkin machine which didn’t recognise our name , our credit card and we had not been given any check in number. Thoroughly unsatisfactory. We couldn’t get away quick enough.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and comfortable room - more like a mini cottage than a room in the accepted sense of the word. Young (German?) owner/manager was helpful and even gave us one of his own beers to drink on arrival as the property does not have a drinks license, which is a bit of a drawback if you like a beer or a glass of wine after the trip. Gardens nice, very peaceful, very pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by - if you haven't got a beer in your hand, that is! All told a five star venue and location, a nice and comfortable stop off venue,...However, the jewel in the crown is the restaurant next door (different owners we think) which is superb and we would stay at the hotel even if it was only a one star simply to eat dinner next door.
Cons: No drinks license!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room: attractive grounds: helpful staff and close to the aboretum and silver mines.
Cons: Nothing to dislike other than the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was lovely bathroom
Cons: Bathroom a little cramped
7.5 Good
Pros: Lets be realistic this is a Motel type facility with small but compact self contained rooms, they were clean but facilities basic , served a purpose and service was polite and helpful, comfortable night. The real gem was the on site restaurant , a pleasant surprise, really good table service and a menu and food that was way above expectations a turned out to be one of the best restaurants all trip, very good. Simple breakfast in smaller cafe type room but as expected and good service.
Cons: Heater in bathroom didn't work but the weather has only just started to change so maybe off at supply.
