I especially liked how pleasant and helpful the staff was at the front desk. The food in the restaurant was was extremely well prepared. I would look at staying at another Oceania hotel again in the future. With the location of the hotel at the airport it would have been easier to do business in the city with a car.
The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were nice and the breakfast was fine. The hotel was 5 minutes walk from the airport and it was great value for money.
Cleanliness, quiet, excellent bar service, suited the business traveller well Inefficient internet service, restaurant closed too early,
I was unable to put drinks from the bar on my room. Which on arrival was inconvenient as we had very few Euros and the nearest atm was at the airport. I was offered a lift to get some cash. Not perfect but a help.
the fact hotel was so convenient to airport for early morning flight
walking distance to the airport with suitcases in tow
Rooms were v. spacious and comfortable. Restaurant was lovely. All staff were very friendly No
Ease of being able to walk to the airport.
Room was very good. Breakfast also good Arrived late from a flight & couldn't find the water machines mentioned in the brochure. No food available Sunday Lunchtime
close to airport unable to buy bottle of wine from bar
It's not finished! The refit was going on whilst I was there and I think the room rate should have reflected this disturbance. The reception was dusty and dirty due to the building works and I got this dust all over my suit from the lifts. The place will look good when it's finished but has been reopened too early to charge full rate when it is in this state.
Was ideal for us as we needed something close to airport. For anyone wanting a simple hotel near the airport it's fine without being anything special.
The distance from Nantes airport and the handy shuttle service (although it only really take a few minutes to walk once you work out the route). Breakfast was a good buffet although hardly any hot food available. The hotel was being completely refurbished and was a mess. We still had to pay full price for our room despite this. Workmen started early in the morning. We had to walk through plastic sheeting to find our room. There were no clear directions to the room and our room had no room number outside. One of the staff on the desk was pretty frosty with us. You have to walk to a hotel next door for breakfast which was not clearly explained.
Close to the Airport / Good Value for Money / Complimentary Internet Access Currently being redecorated
Friendly approach in reception; they were able to converse in english which was a great help Would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room. However, one could go to the bar for both, so it wasn't a big issue.
Extremely friendly staff and exceptionally close to airport with a shuttle service on demand.
Quite good hotel with comfortable room. Hotel staff is frendly and polite. In spite of closure to airport the room is not noise. The room was very small.
the wireless internet connection did not work as I never received a login and password to access it
walking distance to airport
staff very helpful and polite excellent breakfast a good place to stay for an overnight stop
very good value for money. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable.great dor visiting the Zenith or the Atlantis shopping complex difficult to find at first because 2 roads of a similar name are side by side!
Good for a stopover point, cheap, cheerful and clean. Big comfortable beds. Nearby there's a great family bowling/pizza place. No tea/coffee making facilities.
The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was adequate and fresh and the bedsa were comfortable No ventilation in bedroom and non functioning air conditioning unit
Brand new hotel with very friendly staff. Hard to find with a GPS but it is worth it.
New and clean Location difficult to find as not on Sat Nav yet
Excellent location: Zenith 1 minute's walk & Atlantis Shopping Center within walking distance (with unfortunately not very good restaurants). The hotel breakfast is great, with freshly squeezed citrus fruits at choice! Staff remembered us from last time and are professional and extremely helpful. Tea/coffee set in room!!! Underground parking at 10 EUR/night (recommended with big Zenith events) with lift direct to room. Lots of TV channels TNT + CNN + Eurosport etc. Top marks! In spite of quite spacy rooms and excellent showers with great turbo pressure, seperate wc; one little ick: The lack of wardrobe space (lacks drawers, easily accessible shelfspace, shoe-space) so I would not stay for a longer period of time, but then I imagine this is not the kind of clientele this hotel attracts. Still a great place for a business stopover, zenith visit, or hospitals.
Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, modern desing furniture Grounds need attention
excellent room very quiet . good breakfast selection . secure parking a definite plus .
Very convenient the Zenith Theatre and the shopping at the Atlantis shopping centre. Parking easy as well outside the hotel. Good breakfast. Pity there is no restaurant for an evening meal.
The room was clean, however the hotel is quite far away from the city centre. Far away from the city centre and if you use public transportation than you have to walk for 10 min. through sometimes deserted areas.
lean, modern, very helpful staff
All staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast although normally a bit too expensive for our pocket! Nothing - absolutely perfect for our night out.
It was a nice hotel, with a wonderful view of the sea, and good for walking. It was very comfortable, and clean, with good food, and for us free wi-fi and indoor parking. we enjoyed our stay very much and would visit again
Friendly staff and very clean rooms
Both the hotel and its bedrooms appeared extremely new and contemporary and would have been well suited to a four star hotel. This was the smartest three star that we stayed in out of four hotels during our week in France. The position directly overlooking the beach was great and we upgraded to a Sea view for an additional 10 euros, which actually gave us a suite with sitting area/sofa bed rather than a standard room. There is also a large free external carpark & internal carpark at the rear of the hotel. Breakfast was basic for 11 euros per person, so was a little of a let down. The flashing Casino signs outside were off putting though did not reflect the hotel interior.
The Hotel was very clean and relaxing. We had dinner on one night and breakfast one morning and we had absolutely no complaints. We will be coming back. We have absolutely nothing bad to say and there was nothing we didn't likeabout Hotel du Beryl.
The location is great and locals freindly. Tea/coffee making facilities in room would have been nice.
accessability to seafront convenience
The room and the sea view
Very good family room, two joining rooms with loads of space & tastefully decorated, each with it's own bathroom. Comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms & a great view. Brilliant access straight onto beach. Great bar setting with views up & down the beach.Happy, smiley, staff especially Claire. Good parking at the hotel. A really pleasant stay and would definatly like to go back some time.
The hotel was superb, food remakable, views over the sea. The bar area requires refurb and seperating from the noise of the casino. The village is quiet at this time of year but we used it as a base and had a great time.
The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent A bit disappointed there was no music in the bar on Mon and Tues night. There was in 2006.
The Staff were very friendly and most helpful. I was having 2 cateract operations at the nearby polyclinique so it made all the difference I can't think of any
It was clean and conveniently situated near the tramway
It was very useful for us visiting Ikea Nothing
The comfort and good facilities as I was attending a wedding. Very helpful staff.
Rooms very tastefully decorated and clean. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good but more expensive than similar hotel breakfasts we have had in the area. Ample secure car parking. We stayed at the hotel on a Thursday night and would have welcomed the chance of dinner at the hotel or at least without having to drive somewhere (hotel is outside the village of St.Pere), as it was the restaurant next door to the hotel seem to serve only lunches and no evening meals available at hotel so we had the choice of a creperie or pizza in St.Pere or a longer drive to Bouaye for a proper meal. Also note that spa facilities, gown hire etc is to pay for by the hour in addition to room price.
Friendly efficient staff Website did not make clear cost of airport shuttle
Business trip - only one night for a rendez-vous A bit far from Nantes - 20 km and not only 10 km
Wonderful breakfast, the best ever in France.Warm welcome by the host. Above the average room, wifi, matress, utilities, bathroom. Not very charatcteristic, not easy to find
Nice design, pleasant room, good breakfast. only 10-15' from Nantes airport.
The room, the surroundings, especially the gardens, the food, the room service, the swimming pool, its proximity to the beach and to the walking trail into town. The walls between the bedrooms were a bit thin and it was possible to hear our neighbours showering, using bathroom etc.
The sorrounding, interior, atmoshere and amazing garden.
A friendly welcome in a delightful setting with the sea in the distance beyond the carefully tended gardens. Comfortable room, with a real balcony and sea views. Good food. The room was a bit noisy, both for sounds from other rooms, and from it's own bathroom/loo.
Good breakfast buffet (good price / quality ratio). Enough parking space
Friendly staff and nice setting
The hotel is very well located for the Zenith concert hall - a 5 minute walk. There are various fast food outlets and restaurants in the immediate vacinity though the hotel has a good restaurant. Room was clean, well fitted and quiet. Ample free parking was available in the hotel grounds. Brakfast was very good and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Will stay there again when we next visit the Zenith or the shopping centre ,(including Ikea), which is also very close to the hotel. For city break people this hotel is within easy reach of the park and ride tramline to Nantes and the hotel cheaper and quieter than hotels in Nantes - also hard to find parking in Nantes.
Very nice hotel! Good position, clean rooms with very comfortable beds, a tv and a quite wide bathroom. The staff is nice and kind. If you ever go to Saint Herblain I recommend you this hotel!!!
Food was ok, Service of the lady at the desk was very good
Lovely setting, our room had a great sea view, and was very comfortable, nice shower. Evening meals excellent, (sea food banquet amazing) breakfast not too bad – more smoked salmon! Very expensive if used only as a hotel, visitors need to use all the facilities of the spa to get value of money. Need a sat-nav to find the place!
Clean, modern and good value Probably noisy if your room was at the front.
Secure parking over night. Very freindly staff. Our room overlooked the main road out of Pornic, which was noisy. No air conditioning in the room so we opened the window for fresh air, but did not sleep too well because of the traffic noise. We did request, after checking in, would it be possible to move to a room at the back of the hotel, overlooking car-park. We were told that the Hotel was full.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was only a five minute walk from the bustle of Pornic and the many restaurants, also only a few minutes to walk to the most beautulful beach.
Close to centre and the port and restaurants/bars etc. Private parking very useful. Our room at the back, overlooking the car park was very quiet, front rooms would probably suffer some traffic noise as there seemed to be constant traffic in Pornic. The only gripe was the very, very small shower cubicle, otherwise ok for the price.
This hotel was comfortable, although fairly basic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Private off road parking free of charge. Lift to upper floors definitely a bonus. Hotel located uphill and 5 minutes' brisk walk from the centre, which is fine if you are fit, but one of our party struggled with the walking. Therefore I would not recommend this particular hotel for elderly or disabled people.
Easy to find
DWe onlyuseditas an overnight stay during transit.Itwas ideal for that purpose
a very freindly welcome, comfortable no
The staff were very helpful, the car park and location of the hotel were convenient for Pornic centre and it was very clean and neat.
A beautiful old chateau, but should never be offered for occupancy at this time. Photos look great but fail to show the scaffolding and restoration in progress. Completely misrepresented. Location given as .3km from airport; actually about 20+km and a $60 cab fare as no other transportation available for evening arrival. Not only is the chateau under renovation, it is not even occupied by owner yet.
