Pros: Beautiful house and garden. Breakfast was really good, every day a nice extra. The host was very friendly and helpful; when we had a little problem in our room, he made sure there was a good solution. You can park your car next to the street or in private parking (you receive a key from the host). Supermarkets not far (5-10 minutes walking in the centre, other ones 2 minutes by car). Towels for swimming pool are provided.
Cons: The swimming pool is very nice, could be a little bit cleaner.
Pros: The warm welcome, the quiet garden, the homemade muffins and waffles!
Pros: From the moment we arrived, we were amazed with the hotel. Entering the property from the street we went into a world of tranquillity. The walled garden at the rear is large, resembling a park, with a pool and seating areas. The house interior is original of the period and very well maintained. The bedroom and bathroom were large and had everything you required. The breakfast was amazing with a vast choice of fresh local produce. The owner was very helpful and attentive. Would we return, 100% Yes.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. If you hadn't reserved a parking space, then would be using street parking.
Pros: Patrick our host was very welcoming. The Hotel was absolutely beautiful with many of the original features. His freshly baked goods for breakfast were superb.
Cons: Having to leave!!
Pros: Patrick is a great host and obviously a perfectionist. The place is superb and the gardens at the rear are splendid. Breakfast was a joy. Thanks Patrick from two very grateful cyclists.
Pros: Patrick is an excellent host and helped with my directions, so I didn’t get lost on my way to Charme!
Cons: Sorry Patrick but the pillows not comfortable.
Pros: Amazing host Patrick immediately makes you feel at home. He is extremely helpful and his breakfasts are superb. Our room had a gorgeous view of the garden and pool. Safe and enclosed parking area off the road. 12/10 for our five night stay. *- Whilst the outside of the hotel on the road looks a little off putting- wait until you enter and you will be put at ease.!
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Pros: location, characterful building, excellent breakfast
Cons: Wifi was weak at times,
Pros: The property is beautiful, the bedroom spotless, bathroom luxurious, breakfast perfect, and the aspect over a lovely and tranquil garden is divine. Most of all, the owner Patrick is the perfect host. I would give 11 marks out of 10 if it is possible.
Cons: No faults at all.
Pros: Beautiful, characterful house with large, well equipped room and a peaceful garden. Extra touches such as scented candles, relaxing music and fresh towels every day make it very special. Lovely, kind host. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: The property was very elegant, and although we booked 1 bedroom we actually got 3
Cons: the only fault we could find was that we arrived at the property around 1400hrs but were told we could not access our rooms until 1700hrs,and so had to wait in the car till then. I found the inflexibility of our host hard to believe, bearing we had travelled some 250 miles and it not always possible to arrive at an exact time.
Pros: Lovely breakfast. Made use of the pool. There was a sitting room which we could use too. We arrived late, and left early as we were travelling on further South , so were sad we couldn't make more use of this lovely property and facilities.
Pros: Location was perfect for us. Extremely comfortable; very welcoming- couldn’t have been more so. Breakfast was excellent. We also had an evening meal which was delicious and excellent value. Particularly enjoyed the pool. Parking was very easy- plenty of room and covered in. We plan to return if we are ever in the locality.
Cons: THe only downside was that booking in wasnt until 5pm- we would have enjoyed being there a little earlier.
Pros: Lovely hotel. Great swimming pool with a relaxing atmosphere for the whole family. Owners were simply charming. We have enjoy the time we spent at 100%. C'est magnifque.
Cons: What I can say? Nothing. it was so lovely that I cannot find any negative view.
Pros: The rooms were beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was very welcoming after a long drive. Virginie & Phillippe were extremely hospitable. We joined them & the other guests in the outdoor dining room for the evening. They couldn't do enough for us. The whole family really enjoyed our stay & would recommend them very highly.
Cons: I could not fault Les Grands Vents.

Pros: The food choice and quality were very good. A nice quiet venue.
Cons: Corridor dark, have the lights come on automatically
Pros: Restaurant open Sunday pm. Rarity in France and particularly in this area.
Pros: Friendly & helpful staff, delicious food, lovely rooms
Cons: Nothing else around the hotel...bit far too nearest town
Pros: Friendly facility and nice staff.
Cons: Lumpy bed!
Pros: Comfortable room, very clean. Staff professional and helpful, food very good.
Pros: It was clean Breakfast outside was nice
Cons: The owner took a distinct dislike for us (but was very amiable to other guests), not sure if it was because we were English, had children or inadvertently did something. He took every opportunity to demonstrate his contempt for us such as shut the door on me so I couldn’t follow my five year old in; make a comment about children not finishing their dinner; tell me to supervise my children properly as my eldest walked out of the dining room as I was packing away our things; question me three times what a cappuccino after asking what I wanted to drink, then telling me the only choice was tea or coffee; and bark at me as I came to the desk to pay that he was with another guest. Room was adequate and clean, with bathroom recently retiled, but bedroom was dated and dingy with bodged DIY such as a curtain that didn’t fully cover the window and nails coming out of the skirting board, and “city view” was of the car park. Breakfast wasn’t served until 8:30am, which was not great as a stopover hoping for an early departure. Also room wasn’t available until 5pm. Dinner was fine, but pricey for what it was and only three choice menu for adults and one choice for children.
Pros: Charming, friendly, helpful staff. Really excellent food.
Cons: Rooms are a bit small and basic but very clean and everything worked.
Pros: Good hotel after a fairly stressful trip. Relaxing and great food and beer. Very friendly with a great atmosphere
Cons: Smallish room but comfortable
Pros: Owner was very friendly and as it was my wife’s birthday, he gave us a special bedroom. Evening meal was very tasty
Pros: Very friendly host. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Cons: Loo needs a deep clean.
