Good location, close to the river and city wall Friendly staff
Bed was to short, my feet where sticking out Shower was a bit broken, hard to adjust
Breakfast and staff
excellent staff let down by poor building condition , would have not stayed if we had not have made payment in advance , shower not working , repaired once but still not correct, have paid less money to stay on the Italian lakes in a 4 star hotel with balcony and lake views
Located in a very good area
Noise from the room upstairs, squeaky floorboards when people moving about the room.
Really beautiful exterior building and the staff were lovely. Facilities in the room were great (TV, Coffee, biscuits, ironing board etc). Breakfast was delicious & very generous.
Really beautiful exterior building and the staff were lovely. Facilities in the room were great (TV, Coffee, biscuits, ironing board etc) I just felt it was so sad as it all felt a bit run down and the room had no style and the bathroom was so basic and it all just felt a bit old when it could be exceptional. Breakfast was delicious.
Great location for exploring Chester. Very dog friendly, pets allowed in bar area where you can eat from decent menu. Staff were really helpful.
Our front street facing bedroom was spacious but disappointingly noisy & difficult to sleep. Windows are original single pane so good for character look but double glazed would really help.
