me and my girlfriend have decided that this is the hotel choice for us in the future. The spa and leisure facilitys are very welcoming.
That we had to come back home.
We stayed for a city break mid week we loved everything about the hotel. The eating choices were excellent and the Gourmet restaurant superb. We used the swimming and gym facilities and they were also very clean and a high standard Well done to all the staff
No complaints but slightly high on the pricing.
The rooms were comfortable clean and with a very good range of facilites.Location was excellent. Excellent Spa.
Breakfast was not warm and not particularly tasty.
The room was lovely and the chocolate chip cookies were also the most gorgeous cookies I've ever tasted.
There was a cock up with the booking when we arrived. The staff told us there was a glitz with the computer, but we heard them talking between themselves in that the booking had been cancelled. Also we had our evening meal in the Marco restaurant and it was freezing in there. We thought the menu was very limited and it cost us over £50 for 2 bowls of soup, 2 cottage pies and a bottle of wine. A bit steep I reckon.
the design of the hotel, old and new mixed well
The location is perfect had unfortunatelly no time to use the SPA - but must be great
For a new hotel I found already some dirt spots on the floor (on the walkway to my room)
The setting was beautiful
Very poor natural light in room making it feel dark
The comfort of the room
Clean, tidy, excellent price and friendly staff plus the leaving time of 12pm was a bonus for a lie in
Very polite staff & informal. The Valentines meal was delicious, and good value for money. The bill tracking facility on TV IN ROOM is an excellent feature.
The room needed to be updated, with new decor and white bathroom suite.
