Location is great: in the city center and in a nice small street. Staff is great, the woman at the reception is friendly and helpful! Best a/c found in our trip in Thailand: works great and very silent!
Some spider web in the bathroom. There were some noise when the host of upstairs use water, due to water pump.
Very central location, within walking distance to all old city attractions and markets. The guesthouse is hidden away from the road behind a really delicious pizza cafe, keeping the rooms quiet and private. Easy access from main road, making it easy to catch the red taxis around town. Reasonable food at nearby street stalls for dinner. The owner speaks perfect English and is super attentive to detail. The facilities were spotlessly clean throughout, and daily cleaning kept the room clean throughout our stay. Room was well equipped, with minifridge, kettle, cutlery, and plates, and a shared microwave outside. Fan and air-conditioning to cool the room down even quicker. Rooms felt very secure to leave our belongings, with evidence of clear thought to ensure security for windows and door for guests. The owner was very attentive to detail, even leaving behind a peeler and knife for us, when we brought home some green mangoes from our cooking class. There were other guests staying in our neighbouring rooms, but very well sound proofed throughout so we didn't realise except for a few extra pairs of shoes at the entrance! I really couldn't recommend this place any more than I have. This is the place to stay for a quiet, clean, convenient base to explore Chiang Mai, especially if you are staying for a while. Would definitely come back again next time we visit!
Had noted previous review stating music from nearby temple could get quite loud at the room, so was a little apprehensive. We were there for a week and this only happened once all week, at a reasonable time from 8.30-9am. Did not think it was a problem at all!
The host was amazing and helped us with everything. We ended up extending our stay and the comfortable room was cleaned daily. Would come back!
Good location walking distance to decent street food. Staff very friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. Bed was reasonably comfortable not a hard mattress.
Excellent staff who helps a lot, even “GRAB” a car. The room is very clean, air conditioner works well. It free to borrow a bike, so it’s easy to get everywhere in the old town. The guesthouse is on a small lane, and the area around is quiet.
Smoking area of the guesthouse is just around the stairs, when people smoke and talk, smoke and sound would bother Others.
