Pros: Great small house on the riverside
Pros: This is a lovely property right on the Ardeche River. The river was quite high when we were there so we weren’t able to swim, but it was amazing to watch and listen to. The rooms are small but comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. There is a nice verandah overlooking the river where breakfast is served. The hosts welcome you and make you feel like one of the family. We loved our brief stay!
Pros: We liked everything about this tiny but charming B&B situated under a bridge on the banks of the Ardèche. Rooms are equipped with extremely comfortable beds and bedding our room looked out onto the river. There are bedside tables, tissues and plugs on both sides of the bed as well as a television. The breakfast included freshly squeezed orange juice and home made breads and jams as well as muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, eggs etc. The hosts make some large comfortable outdoor cushions available for lounging on the rocks and we swam in the deep fresh water. This chambre d'hôte represents incredible value for money. Worth noting too that one of the owners also runs a small beauty and hair salon on site which proved extremely useful. Nothing was too much trouble for these super hosts.
Cons: The rooms are very small which may prove troublesome for some guests but really nothing at all we didn't like.
Pros: The people, the location, the bed, breakfast.
Cons: The size of the room limits the facilities in it - no desk and chair, and limited spaces for clothing etc. As a single person this was not serious but might be for a couple who are staying more than 1 night.
